I didn't find any thread about the Chandelier Dragon yet. How long do we have to collect the 99 Chandelier crystals? (I'm wondering if I should brave the battle arena for the crystals even though there are no battles in Chapter 7 of the Tales event.)

I think it's odd there's no topic about it yet either. But now there is :) I've been struggling with trying to decide if I should battle for parts, I'm worried cycling through will land me a diamond or champ on a day that requires battling for this event lol

Exactly what I'm worried about too! :D Maybe it's better to wait it out in hopes of easier opponents for the event battles. Hopefully there will be plenty of time to collect crystals afterwards.

I think the Chandelier Dragon looks really promising in the ad pic and it's certainly something new and exciting. I've been waiting for a thread to pop up ever since it was introduced.

Quick question. I know that we usually have two tournaments during the crafting of a dragon, but do flash tournaments count in that number? I don't want to craft two this time and I'm already at something like 45 pieces. So do I stop at 47 pieces (expecting that there will be 2 more tournaments, which will give me 52 pieces altogether), or do I stop at 73 pieces (expecting that there will be one tournament, since we already had the flash one, so I'll get 26 pieces from that)?

Of course, with the previous dragon (I crafted 2) I had it all nicely calculated, and then in the last day (when I was already crafting the dragon) I won two flower power pieces on the wheel, so now I have two stupid flower power pieces sitting in my storage, which was precisely what I wanted to avoid.

Or does the storage max at 99 pieces and I'm fine either way as long as I don't start crafting till the last moment? I seem to recall that this one went beyond 99 but maybe I'm wrong?

How much time do we have to collect the crystals? Sorry, if it's common knowledge. This is the first crafting dragon I have a chance to collect items for.

Plan on 4 weeks from release date, which I believe was this past Tuesday.

My mistake. Apparently the Chandelier Dragon was released on August 7, 2015 (last Friday).

I'm at 61 crystals now. The battles got much more difficult with the new tournament for me even on the first rounds. Hopefully I can make it in time. I like this dragon more and more every day. :)

I am so jealous with all of you that actually are able to craft any of the dragos in the mine.ease share your secret. I barely get 25 bombs and when I go to the mine I barely get 1 piece 2 when I am lucky for 1 bomb so I never have enough bombs to craft the dragons. I try the tips in a previous post that says when u have near count 2 spaces or close 1 space but find those spots is very hard.

I happily take suggestions and see if this 5ime I can get this dragon that I really like. Normally when the time expires I normally get about 30 or 40 at the most in storage and no dragons to craft :-(

Plan on 4 weeks. Of the previous 18 mining dragons, about half had an extra 3 or 4 days (depends on when the following update occurs).

This isn't the mining dragon. It's the one you get pieces for from the battles. :)

FINALLY.. I'm crafting mine now ,it seems like it took forever to win the last 10 rounds due to multiple losses, but I made it through some difficult opponents.

Not sure what is going on in the arena for me lately...just unable to win battles. I have no diamonds, but have 4 champs and a number of epic super rares. Took me 5 battles to take down a lvl 11 forest using epic champs and fire. Just list my fifth battle to a super rare arctic, again using epic champs and fire...am on android so have no arctics to use. Lost the past two tournaments and now doubting I will be able to collect enough pieces for this dragon. I do use the arena wiki to choose which dragons to use but any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Well done .....I've still 15 pieces to go for my first..... But it's interesting now my tournament battles are well over, my battles even against the difficult ones are working out fine to the normal colour/rarity etc rules ? .

7 battles since tournament all ok working on the colour/rarity /strength just 11 to go :)

It would seem so. The craft shop still doesn't label the Chandelier as limited. If you're at 40 pieces now it might be possible to get enough pieces, but it will require a lot of dedication.
I guess the dragon will expire Friday 11th September, leaving you with just under a week to finish.

Mining dragons tend to expire on the Tuesday or Friday updates. DS has been good lately about using pop ups on update days to announce that the dragon will expire on the next update day.

You have to start crafting before it expires. After starting you can keep it in the craft shop for as long as you like

I worked out it is possible provided you are on time with the red hedge and start Chandelier immediately it finishes. But check my maths 'cos the Tourny did my head in and I think I'm half asleep.

Assuming that you were on Day 5 when you started and are now on Day 6, you should not have a problem. There is nothing really time critical on Day 7 when you finish crafting the dragon and need to start and finish crafting the Blue Hedge.

I am so frustrated! This morning when I woke up I only needed 5 pieces and now at 11 at night I still need two more because all that showed up in my battle arena were impossible to beat diamond hybrids! I had to use Ultimate twice after many many losses. Its almost like its rigged to make the last day impossible. I barely even have anything left to fight with because they're in line waiting to recover from the tournament!! I'm sorry, just needed to vent. I'm really irritated.

A timer would be nice since there are timers for everything else. I have a timer for a special offer that is set to expire in 3hrs 37mins. I wonder if it would be safe to assume that is also when the dragon will expire

They will probably sit there forever unless team lava comes up with a way to use them, consider it your attic with dusty worthless stuff. That being said got mine crafting in the nick of time seems they have taken some pity on me after the horrid tourney and I did twenty dragons bam bam only one loss to a tricorn.

In fact there was a timer.. The Spell Shop had a "Limited time" tag and everytime you opened the game for the first time there was a pop up about the dragon being removed today.

And you can always send an email to TL and ask for the dragon since you have the 99 parts needed.
