i like the chairs, tables, counters and walls, but it's a bit busy for me on that floor, although the floor by itself is fine. and hey, more rainbows! way to actually continue a theme, S8!

although the floor decor is good for people who have the art stand from the italian box too, i could take it or leave it. the woman selling her works is my favorite of the pieces, i could see using that as part of an outdoor farmer's market type thing.

I like this update! It's too much all together, but I think the walls paired with a solid color flooring will look great with those tables.

We'll see if they make us use gems again this month, though. I'm done with the game if they do.

Yeah, this update doesn't seem so good to me, I mean it's okay, but it could definitely be better.:eek: There is so much color, it's all over the place!:confused: I like the Restaurant Story update more!:D

It isn't hideous but I had to stare at it with one eye closed because all that vomit of color was making me dizzy. It looks like my daughter was let loose with her paint again, when I turned my back and designed a "surprise" for me. It's cute but color, color, color everywhere is a bit much. So I'll use one thing or another in small doses.

I'm guessing you're on Android. Droiders are due for a new version; it's called Bakery Story: Sugar and Spice in the Play Store. If you're okay to wait, we'll probably get a popup in-game to download it for gems eventually.

I like those tables and chairs and the artist selling paintings under the umbrella. Can work those into my bakery quite nicely. The wallpaper and floor tiles are awful. The rest of the pieces, just meh.

Hope we won't be expected to purchase any of it for gems. I can pass on this update, truly nothing special.

Yeah..too much. Would have to implement some of these in with other patterns. Hope its not for gems because they've already lost me as a cash customer by doing absolutely nothing about gems getting stolen with pop ups then charging gems for the goals. Storm8 will never make another dime off me. Their loss, not mine.

FINALLY, more colour. These games have a nasty habit of releasing really boring content, even in seasonal stuff now.
Trying to be "modern", perhaps, but it all starts to look the same. I am looking at you, Fashion Story.

This and the rainbow update are vast improvements. Also, the mermaid update in FS. Finally!!!!

I think what ImmortalLunchbox meant is that you can still do the goal while using the previous version of BS. That you do not necessarily need the new Sugar & Spice version.

strange things happen today at game reset

i send out request to my neighbours to ask for paint palettes but the request are missing and never reach them. My neighbours reply me that they never receive any request from me. I wonder what is happening??? Did anyone face the same problem as mine???

At game reset, the system seem not operating properly. I send out gift to all my neighbours. It show all sent. Then the game bounded back and ask me to send gift again. So when I send gift again some of my neighbours already gift maxed. How can this happen???

I haven't sent out request for paint palettes yet so I can't answer... did you check if you have reached your request limit today? Maybe that's why they can't see the new request cause you're already maxed.

If the Artsy Icebox appliance is greyed out it either means you need to complete the goal to unlock it or you have reached your max amount of appliances you can have out. You can store other appliances to make room to bring another one out.

The freezer shelf part will be used for the second appliance that will get unlocked when you go through the goals.

The freezer shelf is most probably for building the Artsy Icebox, which you can buy/unlock once you finish the first half of the goals that include the first oven, the Summer Icebox.

My fault! I confused the summer ice box and the Artsy ice box. I wanted to buy a second Summer box, but accidentally scrolled to the grayed-out Artsy box. I agree, and I assume that after I complete the 3 recipes for the Summer box, then the Artsy box will become available and that it will require the freezer shelf.

Make sure you visit all games first (to have the FS goal active), then you can remove 1 or 2 games to have the room to download the new FS... load it up after downloading, then remove it & reinstall the previous game(s).

Basically, you don't have to have all the games on your device at once.. you can remove & reinstall as you see fit. (As long as you have activated the FS goal initially).

I would really like to see more normal-looking and useful decor items, like flowers and plants, and more options for dividers, walls and floors, especially items that I can get with coins! All of the wacky stuff is kind of fun, but I store them soon after the goal and never use them again or just sell them. Kind of a waste, especially if I have to use hard-earned gems in the process. Only really special things should require gems.

I did not get any update on Bakery Sugar and Spice but it's okay I guess. I can downloaded it from the app store but of course there won't be 6 free gems. And thanks for the info on parts needed for the Artsy Icebox. I sure wish S8 will let me buy the former goal's appliance even if it meant using gems. I started over after 5 years hiatus and missing a lot of cool stuff.

Thanks for responding. I don't remember another time where this has occurred... And it was misleading, as well. Add it to the cost of the next item we had to buy and its cost effectively was 38,000 coins. I need 60 million to expand next and I have never been offered a gem sale, so my coins are important.

If you can handle waiting, you should get a prompt within the month.

I did not get any update on Bakery Sugar and Spice but it's okay I guess. I can downloaded it from the app store but of course there won't be 6 free gems. And thanks for the info on parts needed for the Artsy Icebox. I sure wish S8 will let me buy the former goal's appliance even if it meant using gems. I started over after 5 years hiatus and missing a lot of cool stuff.

I'm living and playing fine w/o the update, lol. I'll give it the 1 month which should be next Friday, I believe, since we got a Dragon Story prompt this week.

How do I unlock the Painted Glasses recipe? I've already done the previous goal, Art Walk Night (Prepare and serve 20 Pineapple Dreams + have 1 artists's stall). I've already mastered the Pineapple Dreams recipe but Painted Glasses is still locked. What am I missing here? Thanks!

Someone else may need to confirm this, but if I'm not mistaken the time limit for the goal has long expired. If you don't get the recipe unlocked before time runs out it will never be available. If you unlock the recipe but do not finished the goal, you just miss the final prize.

Yes what sleepygs is right. If you didn't complete goal within the time then you cannot get the final goal Prize.
