I thought i would have difficult time against last 3 or 4 dragons since I had problems with Beserker Shell & Diamond prism, but they were fairly easy. Crusader was awesome in the final rounds. Good luck to everyone else still battling!

I see Crusader mentioned frequently for beating it but do not have that dragon. I really like the Flashtail, but with so many dragons always coming out, being re released, not wasting a ton of gold on ultimate moves to get it.

Did you try Honeybee? I used honeybee bMm. Some of my neighbors used Scorpion and Honeybee.

Know exactly how you feel... fought Jester 7 x, Berserker 7x, Goldwing 8x and now I'm stuck on Helios (7 battles)... My overall ratio at the time is 16 wins to 35 losses since there was hardly a round in which I didn't loose at least one dragon... And I do have some good dragons and always check the calculator and the forum... It seems like there is hardly any way to win anymore without using gold (at least to speed up the rounds)

By the way... Last weekend I fought Chariot for 35 hours straight with 25 losses before I finally beat him... These odds are simply ridiculous:confused::(

So I couldn't wait coz time was short and I was sleepy so I used 8 gold to speed up the rounds and now got my Flametail by beating it with Gummy using Green and Blue Element of it .
I didn't have the Green, Blue and Purple one . Total gold spent on this tourney is I gues above 22 gold but less than 30. All tbe best to those who r still in battle field

yes Thank God! I had this much difficulty after a long time (after three tournaments to be precise lol). But the fact that the new max level of dragons is 15 (no matter if its iOS only) I think the difficulty has increased many notches. I m may v wrong but that's what I felt.
And abt ur present round you can try any unexpected drif Diamond and Diamond hybrids are not working try hitting theMythic Element of Helios with Single Element. Try using a Dragon u haven't used before or any tricolor dragon. IfSorry for typos I am sleepy and thats y this much talkative

I know this forum is about the Flash Tournament but has anyone else lost Ivory Tokens in the mine? A couple of times I get to 200 needed to craft the dragon then I click "craft now" and the game automatically shuts off causing me to lose my tokens and prizes with them. Finally after being *****ed twice, I just Xed out of there and crafted it from the Spell Shop instead of clicking "craft now" from the mine.

It was the toughest tournament for me too. The only tournament which gave me a

Going to be down to the wire! I've been putting a gold or two into speeding up rounds (you win storm8!), but trying to keep my total down to <30. Got goldwing down on the 8th shot, helios on the 6th. Going to be down to the wire! I've been putting a gold or two into speeding up rounds (you win storm8!), but trying to keep my total down to <30. Got goldwing down on the 8th shot, helios on the 6th. I saw the post that someone used lvl 3 luck to beat it. If you have one, you can try it. Good luck!

Try Luck if you have one, I won with Luck, I forgot the move that I used (u can see at page 11), but before that, I listed some alternative dragons that have colour advantage against Flametail which are island, gummy, luck, lunar rainbow, brightsteel, idol, marble, stone, rainbow, lollipop. You can try any of them based on what u had. Amongst all alternatives that I listed, I chose Luck, and he won for me first try. Good luck. :)

*I recommend you to use either Luck, Rainbow, Lunar Rainbow or Lollipop. All Flametail's colour weak against those four dragons.

Oddly enough this was an easy one for me, finished with 6 hours to spare. Record was 18-11. I'm amazed.

This was my worst tournament ever with an overall ratio of 18wins : 48 losses... Lost no less than 18 times against Helios and ended up breaking my own rules by using ultimate because I really wanted this dragon.... After the 35 hours battle against Chariot last weekend I'm starting to hate these tournaments ... With these odds they are simply no fun and I'll think very hard about wanting to do this again in the future... These games should be about fun first and all!

So, I couldn't let Flametail go after all last night. After finally beating Diamond Prism with level 1 Coral I used ultimates on the next two rounds after losing them with a few dragons and then beat Flametail with level 3 Dark Phoenix. :)

Thanks and big congrats to you too, merlin! :) Let's hope so. I've been playing FFS for a while and these flash tournaments are usually always a pain because of the timing. When you live in Europe you have 2 days and 3 nights to play so I prefer the full lenght tournaments. I've heard they are very tough in DS, but I look forward to participating in my first full lenght one. :)

It seems that raising the dragon level to 15 has dramatically impacted level 10 dragons' fighting ability. After finally getting a few diamond hybrids, tournaments were fairly easy for me; now it feels like I'm back to square 1 - I may as well have all level 1 commons for all the good my level 10's do for me :(

Last Flash tourney I got stuck on round #12 - Steelflare for a day & a half and didn't beat it until an hour or 2 before tourney ended. I didn't care much tho since I thought the prize was nothing special, this time I wanted the prize and when I lost 4x to Berserker and was on my way to loss #5 I ultimated and it was a good choice for me. It was worth 30 gold to me and I was lucky throughout most of the tourney... You never know which dragons are going to be the hardest to beat because of the odds on some of them. Congrats! You made a very good choice! I wish I had used an ultimate on Diamond Prism. I lost to it close to 20 times. If I had gotten past sooner, I may not have needed to speed up or use another ultimate.

Well, I think TL expects players to play more often, if not full time hours, since the tournaments and also IOS tales events, have such a tight schedule, not to mention battles that are quite tough to win for most players.

Actually find that a lot of the time the triples work better than the champs for me but again that is or me, so when I see a tri color in a tourney I get quite excited and work hard to get it. I have five champs now and therefore I feels I have more than enough to carry me through although I'm at the point that anything good is always welcome. Like others I feel that the level 15 has made things somewhat harde although once I got through The two tuffies Berserker and Triceratops I sailed through the rest with no problems at all ****ing everything in sight. Had a few minor problems at the start, luck was unlucky for me but this was a pretty uneventful tourney used one ultimate which I usually do about midway to 3/4 through which does not bother. Me for a nice dragon. I ok at it as money well spent versus the likely 1500 gold to buy it.

Agree with you, I don't usually have trouble finishing any event but able to dedicate a lot of time even more than full time. Often I'm up in the night. Sometimes chronic pain can be a good thing lol. It's controlled but the sleep patterns are so weird because of my gaming habit which has resulted. Now I'm also on another one which thankfully does not cost and in fact they are paying us it seems rather interesting concept although I bet it's only for a while till they get enough players. Fun while it lasts tho!

Well, this was exciting. By which I mean nerver wracking. I won the battle with Flametail 20 about 30 minutes before the time was up. I had 3 pieces of gold at a time. I don't usually cut it so close.

I had not many gold pieces, because I just bought cherry blossom (finally, after so many tries to breed it). I even had to wait for my gold making dragons to make those last pieces of gold so I'd have enough. Suffice to say, when the flash tournament started I had very little gold.

Luckily I was able to install slots machine game, so I could Ultimate Berzerker 20. Any other goldpieces my dragons made I lost in a goldtrap (yes, I did) What I got from my neighbours, I used to speed the battles.

Clockwork 6 > tricerotops 16 after loosing many battles.
Barbarian 10 > Shell 16
Diamond 10 > Diamond Prism 18 (after loosing my diamond hybrids 4 times)
Chariot 1 > Goldwing 18 (after loosing amphora, gold, nano, fire giant, chariot)
Zefyr 1 > Helios 20 (after loosing Crusader, Diamond, gold, infinity)
Aether 10 > Flame 20

Actually did not feel this was any more difficult than usual, I am on iOS but have not levelled any dragons up yet. I had the usual trouble with a couple of dragons and ended up using ultimate once but that is normal for me. Other than that I found it pretty much normal and in some respects it won't easier than expected especially after triceratops.

Actually I've seen some players lost a battle with LV15 dragons, and one even lost with a Prime dragon, so I don't know what to make of that, but having LV15 doesn't necessarily mean you'll win

I don't spend gold on tales event, plus I also work full time so sometimes I would miss out a day or two due to the time required for some tasks, as well as the waiting time in between chapters
