How do I attract a Skunkupine?

I noticed that certain actions attract certain monsters.

Gathering water = Blue Dire Boar
Collecting from coin buildings = Troll
Collecting from Glimmer Trove = Purple Glimmer Troll
Harvesting Animals and Crops = Fangbeast

I used to get Skunkupines when I harvested crops or animals but not in a long time? I need them to complete a quest and I refuse to buy the Traps for Gems. Any advice appreciated.

The monster you get depends on what kind of crop you grow. Skunkupines like corn, tomatoes, wheat, sugar cane and fellora blossoms. You can also get them from chopping trees.
