Pre-requisites: Level 25 and completion of Champion Thurston

This goal is for players who have only just freed Thurston and have his fort. This means that you won't have nuggets in store like a level 50 player. Don't be discouraged! And don't think about using gems!! ;) sir Daisy's isn't going anywhere.

Yes this goal may take many months for the lower levelled players or for those that use their golden items for the gem royal exchange trades or if you don't permanently have your device attached to your hands! lol. Finishing this goal can't be a pre-requisite for any of the current story lines, so TAKE YOUR TIME! :)

if you were unable to level up your arena before because the build button was greyed out, this has now been fixed....

1. Joust Intentions
Have a Level 5 Stable (I put the building requirements below to get your stable to level 5)
Tend 4 Horses
Feed the Horses 40 Sugarcane
Reward: 350 coin, 3 xp

2. Needs More Sparkle
Craft 5 Gold Piping (5 gold nuggets, 10 iron, 1 mithril, workshop 2 hours)
Reward 1625 coin, 6 xp
Note: gold piping won't appear in your workshop until you get to this goal - you cannot prepare them in advance.

3. Bring out that Shine!
Upgrade the Jousting Arena to level 4 (details below)
Spread fliers in the marketplace (visit 5 times (details below if you want to build more to save time)
Tell your Neighbors x100 (tap their buildings to get hearts)
Reward 2700 coin, 8 xp

4. Two Noble Steeds
Craft 2 horse statues (50 stone, 25 wood, 1 architect paste. Workshop 4 hours)
Reward 1625 coin, 6 xp
Note: the horse statues don't come up until you have completed the market and neighbour visits

5. Jousting Time
Upgrade the Jousting Arena to level 5
Equip 2 light armour (means give 2 away)
Serve 3 spicy feasts
Reward 2700 coin, 8 xp

6. Get Ready to Duel!
Pay 400,000 coins
Inspect 4 Horses
Joust! (click on Duel button)

Previous Levels:
Jousting Arena cost 50,000 coin 650c/12hr limit 1
Arena changes appearance at each level!
Level 1: 5 Super Glue. 7 Purple* Dye. 2 Royal Beam. 2 Royal Block
Level 2: 3 Builders Paste(Lv.17). 5 Longsword (Lv.15). 4 Royal Block (Lv.14) 4 Royal Beam
Level 3: 150,000 coin. 3 Lumin Essence (Lv.18) 3 Enchanted Block (Lv.19) 3 Enchanted Beam

NEW Levels:
Level 4: 3 Ornate Block, 5 Gold Piping, 5 Rope, 3 Ornate Beam
Level 5: 5 adamant, 5 rope, 10 yellow dye, 2 horse statues
Note: the horse statues don't come up until you have completed the market and neighbour visits.

The "reward" for upgrading the Jousting Arena is that it becomes an additional source of monsters during future Monster Hunts.

If you want to build another Marketplace for step 3 you will need:

Well, If you use web browser,
Look at the bottom of Storm8 site.
You'll see the time is now (GMT+9)

More to the point one kinds,
It's not same when you use site styles.

Storm8 Blue style say time is 7.
Default Stye 2014 says time is 4.

I don't konw why It's totaly different.
It seems like different what I'm used to.

Maybe ur clock isn't ticking? :o

Really bummed at missing dialogue. Even more disappointing than when the fortune teller triggers a "nil" dialogue. :-(

Edut to add: Nevermind... I checked my other account that I basically don't play at all anymore, and it popped up with "Joust Intentions" and no dialogue ahead of time. No need to trigger it, either. It pops up when game is opened. ((if you've completed the storyline that precedes it, presumably jousting arena storyline))

Fell asleep and thought I missed the update, but it appears like it began just minuites before I got there. Not sure I like this pop up thing. It eventually goes to dialogue so why bother?

55lee55 ~ people weren't getting rid of lv 5 stables during the Sir Daisy quest; that was back during the Destrier/Rouncey time. I got rid of mine back then but when the option for more horses was taken away, I quickly built my 2 stables back up to level 5.

(I mean in the third picture of that post, if you have the iron and mithril but not the nuggets. I do see it's 50 gems a piece to skip making the piping altogether).

The gold piping will appear in your workshops when you have the active goal to MAKE the gold piping.

You got it! The rope is rare, in that it appeared long before being needed or asked to craft it. Usually, items appear to craft when the goal that requires them pops up. :)

Yes! I didnt see a picture of what you need for Level 5, but you don't need more piping from what I understand from previous pages.

I have a problem with the gold piping, as well, albeit a different one: the requirement of 25 golden nuggets in total to craft the pipes is excessive to say the least.
I am a regular player, my castle is level 39, and I managed to craft 2/5 pipes before I run out.
To give you an idea of how rarely the gold nuggets drop in my kingdom, I have had an easier time getting skunkupies from Ivy's hut.
Am I doing something wrong? Any tips, possibly?

I have a different issue. I upgraded my arena already with just gold (not the nuggets.) Not sure why, but my arena was in storage. I got the goal to tend the horses and such, did that and then pulled my arena out of storage. It offered the "upgrade" button so I did twice for only gold. It is now level 5 but I am still stuck on waiting for gold nuggets to build more piping. (impossible amount of nuggets IMO, and i just did a trade using 3 of them.)

But, here I sit with a lvl 5 arena. Wonder if I will be able to complete the goals (if I ever get the nuggets).

Have you visited the marketplace 5 times? Visited neighbors and tapped 100 hearts? Those have to be completed, along with upgrading the arena to level 4, before the goal to craft statues is triggered.

The statues are triggered only after you complete the previous step of visiting neighbours and market place. I wanted to be ready but had to wait as well...

I know this question has been asked already but I have only seen one reply saying the deep mines and dark caves (and yes, I have read the entire thread, including all 38745 questions asking why they can't craft gold pipe, was nearly tearing my own hair out NWK �� lol) I was just hoping some of the more experienced players might have some other ideas about how to beef up the nuggets, ;-) lol.

Without sounding rude and with North in memory, have you upgraded to level 4, collected 100 hearts from neighbours AND collected from a market place 5 times. If not, complete, A B or C and the horse statue will show up in your workshop. Sheesh. I think I'm in the endevour Worksop. maybe time to suggest a new building.

The "reward" for upgrading the Jousting Arena is that it becomes an additional source of monsters during future Monster Hunts.

Last 2 times I've collected from mine, I got 2XP, $960 coins (those 2 things cuz somebody clicked the heart over it, otherwise it would have been 1XP & $800 coins) and a sword each time...not much diff from when it was a level 3. The added bonus will be seen during Season 2 of Monster Mashing, whenever that is, lol.

After you finish a goal #3 "Bring out that shine" you will get a goal #4 where you will be asked to craft two horse statues and horse statue will appear in your workshop.

lol. The worst part of your message, is once again you have a gem sale. There are no things random about gem sales. Mine show up once a year at US Black Friday. That's not random, everyone gets it. Every second time or so you post it shows a sale. Certainly not begrudging you for your fortune. Just pointing out the bleeding obvious to S8.

I live in Australia. Please give me a Boxing Day sale, the equal of Black Friday. At least I'd get 2 sales each year.

Anyone have any idea when the next monster event is going to be as I'm already at a massive disadvantage being an Android player (do have an ipad but its the original one and crashes everytime I try to load the game as it's just too big now).

This goal is for players who have only just freed Thurston and have his fort. This means that you won't have nuggets in store like a level 50 player. Don't be discouraged! And don't think about using gems!! ;) sir Daisy's isn't going anywhere.

Yes this goal may take many months for the lower levelled players or for those that use their golden items for the gem royal exchange trades or if you don't permanently have your device attached to your hands! lol. Finishing this goal can't be a pre-requisite for any of the current story lines, so TAKE YOUR TIME! :)

Congrats on getting the barracks too! Slow and steady is just as good as speedy Gonzales! Be encouraged!! ;)

Oh yeah!!! I've just made that mistake. I've made three pipes and also other materials needed - it took me a while. Then, i've bought two pipes lacking for 20 gems and upgraded the arena. My fault was that I thought the goal was to upgrade the arena, not to craft pipes. Next moment I noticed that the goal still was not done, so I had to spend 20 gems more to finish it. And guess what - now I have level 4 arena and 5 golden pipes on my hands! :D:D:D Well, maybe it comes in use some day.

it's totally worth it to skip the bars at 10 gems a shot. I got 30 free from a game install so I could skip. 25 golden nuggets are enough for 8 gem trades, which would give you 40 gems

Thanks SW but it's not about Sir Daisy, that goal is on the back burner for now.

It's about getting the jousting arena upgraded in time for the next monster token challenge. As I said I'm an android player so already at a massive disadvantage with the monster challenge and I doubt there are going to be an infinite number of 'parts' to collect gold tokens.
In the last one I only managed to collect 4 and I was playing like a demon!! Lol. If it continues on that vein I'd need at least 25 'parts' before I collected enough 😢

Well, I'm far behind a lot of you guys and still stuck on the last set of gold piping. I need three more gold nuggets to complete it and suspect it's going to take forever for them to drop. I'm even considering using gems to speed it up - something I almost never do!! The only thing that's stopping me is that as an Android user I found the monster hunt so annoying that I can't work out if it's worth using up my precious gems for. Although with my luck/clumsy clicking I'll probably lose them in a gem trap anyway...

Level 50 here, gold nuggets were one of the items I didn't have major stock in. And since I made one gold pipe, I hadn't received any nuggets from anywhere. So I skipped that for 40 gems in the goal, not buying nuggets in the workshop. Very worth the gems I had gotten for free anyway.
