Last month, I stopped pursuing the goals when it got the gem required decorations between the two appliances - so you couldn't advance without spending the gems. A few months ago, I could probably afford the gems, but I probably wouldn't have pursued it on principle. Now, well, I'm not buying gems - or in the case of dragon story, gold - on ANY games, much less gems just to complete a monthly goal. Since I finished the first appliance on last month's goals, I was able to unlock the next appliance IIRC, but I think only the first recipe - which was a small yeild, I think, so nothing I would really use.

i'm hoping they just didn't include everything in the image, because i would like this to be goals. coin goals, of course. i don't care for the flag tile or caesar, but the cookie wallpaper is cute and the display is fabulous. if not goals, that would be my first gem spending (assuming it's not hugely expensive) since june. the 1x1 table thing is cute too.

but there's no tables, chairs or counters, so who knows on the goal thing? we'll find out tomorrow!

Oooh, I rather like this! Italy is currently on Loretta and Hazel's Itinerary, so this would give me some really nice options to work with instead of having to open the Lil Italy chest. Although, I wouldn't mind a complementary box sale ;)

Thats what im thinking. We cant always tell whats what based on a picture. We have had goals that seemed like a box and boxes with new recipes. I think this is part of a goal and hope its gem free. I want new recipes. Need to stock up on gems again. Ive only 3 more months to go!

I am Italian. This is the first time I have been excited about this game in months. I love and want everything in this update except the dopey looking Ceasar. Couldn't they have put Aunt Loretta in a red white and green apron instead of Caesar with pasta in his hair?
I hope hope hope it is goals and there are more decor, ovens, tables, chairs and counters in this theme.

With a few of the versions, they literally did not turn up in a google play search until I got one of the words in the name of the new version and searched. That happened on the Mermaid update of FS - I did a search on the play store, went through all 200+ search results, nothing new. Found out the name of the update, added "mermaid" to "Fashion Story" and it popped right up.

That kind of blows that iOS players have access to it now, while we can't get it until Thursday or Friday from the play store? But it's odd that I have the new part in my gift menu - usually those don't show up until I have the correct version (unless it's a goal appliance).

I got spoiled getting the gems for the new versions, but then a few months ago (and I don't know how they determine the timetable for when they are going to offer gems for the new versions) it was three weeks after the new version of DS was released before there was a gem goal for it. I've been, I guess, spoiled again, by coming to the forums, seeing what the updates are, and finding out if I have to download a new version. With FS, when I've seen a new item in my neighbor's stores, I always find out what version they are on (they are usually iOS users that get it first, so I end up coming to the forums, because who can resist new stuff?).

Thank goodness for the RS2 and Castle Story goals - that got me up in gems/gold a bit (that I promptly spent again in Dragon Story, but I can never hold on to gold in DS).

The candy box is amazing. Opened it three times way back when and got 2 gumball castles. No gems now to try for those trees ive always wanted.

Newbies play for coins. Older players dont care about profit. They know what to cook to make money to cut losses for food and decor. I cook to keep food out and for gems.

Even so, with almost 8 million saved again, almost 100000 for those ove s is super duper steep!

I'd forgotten those rainbow bridges were in that box. Just saw two shops that didn't have no less than 15 of each. I was like darn! I wish is gotten those before they removed them for St. Patrick's Day. I cringe to think how many times they opened the box in total. I think this may be the only box, where the 4th and 3rd place prizes are worthy of failing with.

This is an update, not a goal. You are likely on an Android device and your neighbours requesting these items are on iOS. A new version will probably be out soon and then you will have the same content your iOS neighbours do.

In the meantime, if you accept the new part they send you, you will be able to build the new oven quickly when it is available to Android players.

Storm 8 completely ignores Android users and they give back mumbo jumbo, when emailed about the issue. Maybe if we all uninstall their game they will make it fair

that's what she meant when she said she didn't open boxes--she, like you, just doesn't bother buying any of them because the chances are high that you will get a prize you don't like (unless you happen to like the 4th place prizes).

IT'S NOT A GOAL. it's just a regular weekly update, only those who are playing on android won't have the content until they download the new version. check back here for the version name, which someone will post when it's been released. you may then download and start playing to get this content soon, or you can wait to see if S8 releases a goal to download it, which will give you gems.

please. many android players have gotten 6 gems every week to download a new version for years. until they introduced videos for gems on iOS recently (although that's only for some lucky players, so is hugely unfair), android was way ahead on free gems. and if you didn't/don't want to wait for the goal, you're behind iOS on updates, but not usually by much, i think. i always waited for the goal, but aren't the versions usually available within a day or two if you really want the content?

it's a version update. there will be a new Bakery Story: [name currently unknown] in the Play Store within the next couple of days. once an android player downloads that version and opens it, all of this italian bakery content will be available to that player.

Dude......or dudette, android gets new versions to download multiple times per month now. IOS rarely. So I was surprised to see that fortune hoal and the farm 2 one. Android does take longer now for the gems goal but you dont have to wait for them. Download now and thats your 6 gems from the new recipes.

Though I thought I was imagining things when I saw the bagel RS goal. I mean THAT came out ages ago. Very lame. But still works for me. I play on ios and can wait whenever for a new version.

I do not open the boxes because I don't buy them. I will not gamble to get an item that I hate. I think that at least the prizes should not be duplicated. If they have an LTO that I like I pay the gems 'cause I know what I'm getting.

please. many android players have gotten 6 gems every week to download a new version for years. until they introduced videos for gems on iOS recently (although that's only for some lucky players, so is hugely unfair), android was way ahead on free gems. and if you didn't/don't want to wait for the goal, you're behind iOS on updates, but not usually by much, i think. i always waited for the goal, but aren't the versions usually available within a day or two if you really want the content?

ANDROID USERS!!!! If you download the regular app from the Amazon.com app you can get the oven now. I'm an android user and that's how I got it.

I think I asked before - what do you mean about the amazon.com app? Are you on Android via the Kindle Fire? Because while it's technically Android, it's a "different" Android, and I'm guessing you get all of your apps via amazon.com?

It's true, you can make more profit if you continue to cook the recipes after getting the gems from mastering them. I do this occasionally, but a lot of people don't cook a recipe once having extracted the 2 gems.

Actually coin rewards is a few thousand only (unless S8 is giving out big rewards this time), its immaterial comparing with cost of oven and cooking;)

Then you were one of the unlucky ones. The only updates I didn't eventually get the goal for were the 2 that I didn't wait long enough for (which sometimes meant waiting a few days past the "no longer supported" message). Anyway, the version is out already, so android was only a few hours behind ios, which you may think is worth getting worked up over, but I don't. Gem goals anger me enough, a few hours' delay, even were I planning to forgo the goal and download as soon as I could, doesn't even register as an annoyance.

The past couple were RS: bagel cafe, which I'd given up on and downloaded months ago so didn't get that goal, and a reissued castle story goal, which I started playing the first time S8 issued that goal for android, so I haven't had goals the past couple weeks either. But there's this version now, and I think a fashion version that's outstanding, so I'll be waiting for those 2.

Ditto on the oven element. What about the oven light? That was a nice general part, we should use those again.

Because they can. If people have the money and parts needed to make more of this non-goal oven then by all means, they're allowed to. Maybe they don't want to be stuck for long time mastering the recipes so they buy a lot, or it might be for aesthetic reasons, you never know. It's their choices anyway. :)

I mean from the amazon.com appstore that most Android users can access. You may have to follow some simple steps to download the appstore app itself. If any of that is supported by the Kindle. I can't believe amazon wouldn't support its own device but I suppose stranger things have happened.

My suggestion is that you try to get the amazon edition as a backup for your Google Play app.

That's because the goal to download new versions are 4 weeks after the update release. Many players probably get sick of waiting that long so they just go ahead and download it. Exactly what TL/S8 wants....

Last time there was official word, it was that the videos-for-gems (or to speed up) was being tested on these lucky few, and they hope to have it available to all players soon. I'm certainly not holding my breath.
