It is part of the main story line but there are limited timed goals in the goal. If you don't have the for once you do a bunch will trigger, this being one of them. Have fun!

Don't know about the other horses, but I've lots of coin-horses: they don't drop something else besides hair every time, just once in a while, and they certainly don't drop fertilizer every 5th...

Yes poo rate,sure has changed I can go through 40 energies and not get one , I have 16 conserveitories out and have 7 royal cows and 8 black sheep, and they are not dropping poo either Which I could always count on my sheep

I missed the deadline on Detangler Samples (Neighbors? Really? Get with the program!), and after making 6 Detanglers gave up. Or at least put the whole thing on indefinite hold. Milk-and-eggs trade is my biggest source of Trade Tickets, not to mention an important source of food. Feasts take a lot of energy to make, when you take into account all preliminary steps. Especially initial harvesting. Much better when ingredients like Hearty Stew drop from a trade, let alone entire feasts. I am at level 30, in the middle of Faerie Respite questline, and just got Glimmergate quest; I cannot afford to lose the milk-and-eggs trade. Not to mention another 44 Enchanter Essence the horse quest will take -- before I even get to "Food for Groom"!

Maybe some day I will start making Detanglers again. For the time being, I want them out of my hair.

Yes indeed! We so need a Cecil lion! Has someone started a thread on this yet?

On another note, we also need a veterinarian. Some of our cats/dogs/horses etc have taken ill. Unfortunately, Ivy's potions are of no help.

Rope is not needed for anything, yet. However, back of card says "Used for questing." I would suspect that when the new quest is introduced, we will need to craft 5 ropes rather than pull them out of inventory, much like the first Mercury Feast you had to cook to go on your first trip to the Feral Lands. Inventory didn't count for that one either.

Anyway, I've been trying to spot Aslan in the Kingdom/Queendom/Village (whichever you prefer) ever since

I'd be down to help w/a petition or thread or whatever - Mary I'm sure you know what to do much more than I do for a lion, but lions live in familial groups - yes, Prides - so we'd also need at least 2 or 3 LIONESSES as well
And then TL/S8 could charge us beaucoup gems for 'lil lion cubs

Now Mary, if you're not totally set on a lion, we could ask for pretty much any other beautifull, exotic big cat (Bengal or Siberian Tiger, Panther, Snow Leopard etc.)b/c they lead (mostly) solitary lives - the exceptions being when they umm...procreate & when a Mother has cubs who she raises for the first 2-3 years (until the equivalent of adolescence) teaching them all the s****s they need to survive on their own & then they leave to find their own territory

So if you don't get a quick neighbor return, which is generally a system problem not neighbor problem you need 50 pink things....ha can't remember what we are even trading for. Otherwise you need 20. Each one takes 25 bags of fertilizer and you're lucky if you get 1-2 fertilizer for every 40 energy spent collecting from sheep, cows, horses and conservatories. NOTE...my numbers may be off, it is late and I have a trade pending so I can't check. This is just crazy. And seriously with all these animals I would think we would have more dung sitting around. Why do we need 50 of everything and it is all up to,chance? Oh yea, so we can buy more gems and lose them when we accidentally touch something. Like having more things to do but why the monotony? I guess at least we get trade tickets so that it a plus compared to normal things.

This morning I got 3 bags from 6 conservatories, 2 bags from 17 cows , 3 bags from 7 sheep and none from 12 horses. However the next collection will be down because this one is good. Cannot be bothered to work out the exact drop rate for every individual item - life's too short to spend it counting poo bags. At least this is giving me something to make other than milk and egg trades for tickets.

My farm animals seem to be constipated. My fertiliser drop rate from horses and cows seems to be lower than 1 in 10. I'm wondering if I need to whip up a batch of wholebran cookies or kiwifruit smoothies in the kitchen to get things 'mooving' for them. It can't be healthy, holding it in like this!

Maybe her pie oven is on the blitz?

Used all my daily energy to keep them tapped.

First off, All the horses are useless when it comes to fertilizer....don't waste your time expecting poo bags from them, they came in dead last with 2 drops all day.

Sheep came in 3rd..... I only received 8 fertilizers in the time frame....I really thought they would be better than cows, but the long time wait compared to cows is silly.

My 10 cows, a variety of royal, b/w, brown and violet did pretty well ....I received 16 drops

But the 10 conservatories blew everything away with over 41 poo drops in 16 hours

My tip.....
Get those conservatories out, as many as you can, I kept 5 sheep and cows out just to alternate the milk trade......but now I'm ahead of the game, and can have my 25 fertilizers ready to go and can make 2 -3 mitt trades a day.

....just a suggestion :) if you want to be over and done with this quest.

Will keep tending the sheep and herding the cows as they produce other stuff I need. But yes, get those conservatories out. They are short regen time and drop pretty well.

Conservatories and cows/sheep have been my primary but I am finding the horse drop rate not go be as bad as you found. I usually get about 3 every 8 hour collection

all of those trades show you how many you have/ how many you need. Once you have 101 tickets, the number will change. So in your case, it would show 100/30 for an expansion permit. perfectly normal! :)

If you have max limit of Royal Buildings, at lev 5, it's not an attractive option to build a lot of conservatories. I bought my Royal Cows, and I'm very happy about that, but for players without plenty of conservatories and/or Royal Cows, this can be very tough indeed!

Edit: I only have two conservatories. One at lev 5, and one at lev 1, to be able to switch between the Royal building most needed at present. The rest is all high RP Royal buildings at lev 5, not selling them to buy conservatories...

Agree, suddenly drops slowed down, I am now at 15-18 per day from 20 horse, 10 cows, 4 sheep and lv5 conservatory! At this rate it will be 50 days to complete the goal.

I guess it is just a fertilizer sink, for lower levels, so it won't have to go to waste.

After completing 49 trades, she paid the 5 gems to skip the last trade on the page in the goal book while #50 was out ... It came back with ONLY a trade ticket (no mitt!).
So, in order to keep a mitt, we'll have to do like Nat did, and skip the "Give 50 mitts" after the trading is completed (which thankfully, also only costs 5 gems).
Then we'll not only have 1 mitt in our Hoarder inventory, but FIFTY! Lol

Hope this news isn't too late for those others who were gonna try the first route & I managed to save you 5 gems. :)

You're very welcome, Captain! These drops don't fit into the Rare Random Drops-thread, but I find extremely underwhelming drops to be interesting too. The new golden stuff from the B Tent, dropping strictly coins, are a good example of this, just like with Sir Daisy. At least he's good looking!:D:rolleyes:

Any other time they r dropping their fertiliser all over the place and now I am practically glued to my phone on a daily basis and I am barely collecting enough to make 1 mitt a day!! This is becoming very very tedious and I would use gems but for the fact you get the trade tickets for making each mitt and its alot off tickets to miss out on if we are feeling forced into using gems!! Surely you must know the drop has decreased and there must be something that can be done?? Can you not add fertiliser as a gift for a limited time or something?? I really don't want to use gems but this is taking things too far!! I swear I am on this phone that much it's going to go BANG!! Plz help!!

P.S I have now completed all goals but can't get the dang horse cause ave not finished mitts!!!!..........HOW can I FINISH when my drop rate is like 1/10??? Totally FED UP!!

I am getting a drop rate off 1/10 in every collection I am now NOT even collecting enough to make 1 mitt in a day!! I have all animals, conservatories horses sheep you name it ave got it!! Come on sort this out PLEASE!! It's becoming a massive chore! I've completed all goals but can't get Sir Daisy cause ave not got the mitts and I refuse to use Gems when any other time fertiliser is easy enough to come by!! Youse obviously know the rate has dropped so why drag this out any longer than need be!! We should at least be able to make more than one mitt a day!! At this rate I won't be finished until Christmas!! If we use Gems we should be given the Trade tickets we are losing out on!! I know your only trying to keep our spirits up but even you must see how much the rate has dropped?? It's taken me 2days to collect 25bags off poo!! I've completed all the other goals but as I've not got the mitts I can't get sir daisy!! It's so tedious continually trying for this fertiliser but I refuse to use my gems as we lose out on trade tickets which is the only benefit off this toil!! Surely 2days is unacceptable for such a small amount off fertiliser? Any other time it's dropping all over the place as no doubt it will whenever we complete this!! I really am very fed up am sure my phone is going to blow up the amount off hours I'm putting into trying to collect!! My strategy for this is too concentrate on doing the milk and egg trade -do not collect from the stables- and after about 2 to 3 of these trades you should have enough fertilizer for a mitt trade. Getting a lot of tickets doing this but very boring. Also I craft a rope or two so I can collect from sheep. It is slow going but Im trying not to get frustrated with it.

Been at it forever and still only have 36/50 mitts..sheesh!! Never thought fertilizer wud be such a pain..
PS: I haven't started on the greselda goals yet so haven't needed fertilizer at all in case anyone is wondering..

You can put 160 cheap market horses in your Kingdom and you will get as much fertilizer as you want

I'm in a similar position with just 39 mitts and have also put most of my horses away - though I kept a few out - and I don't really want to keep the rest there eating up all of my energy, it was such a relief to get rid of the herd. So maybe I'll just accept that it will take another couple of weeks. I think I generate more fang beasts than poo when I'm collecting from animals! I'm always maxxxed out on fur. I've tried the option of keeping the number of poo bags high so in case that does help generate more, but it's not really worked for me. I'll be so happy when I get Sir Daisy in the end.

If you let any monster somewhere it will prevent for any other monsters trigger in any condition

You can't make the 51st mitt. What you need to do is craft 50 and then in the next goal where you hand over your mane detangler and mitts, you skip and then keep all 50.

Thank you. I found out the hard way this afternoon. Traded for number 50 and was ready to start trade for 51 before giving the mitts when the dialog popped up and the trade was gone. At least I have Sir Daisy now and can go back to using the fertilizer for Dark Sisters.

PLEAS HELP!! Game crash!...i have uninstalled, but it WILL NOT reinstall!! Numerous reboots, sign in/out...even downloaded a game i never had before (it worked) and uninstalled/reinstalled a game i had (dragon story) it worked. I even unistalled and reinstalled on my iphone...IT worked ��Ive been at this for 2 hours now...its after midnite, and i have to work tomorrow...aaaack!! Please! Any suggestions??? The cicle fills up but never says "open" or shows up...fyi farm story, same story : (

Move photos & videos to a computer since these take a majority of space especially if you use iCloud since you'll then have 2 copies of the same picture. Also, force close all apps running in the background, clear the cache in Safari, & delete any other apps you're not using.
Hopefully these will help you get the game loaded again.

Move photos & videos to a computer since these take a majority of space especially if you use iCloud since you'll then have 2 copies of the same picture. Once the event ends you'll no longer receive the items necessary to upgrade it. You can either spend the gems to finish it or throw it in storage like the rest of us.

After weeks of tedious and slow collections with hardly any poo bags appearing I'm finally nearing the end, and suddenly fertilizer bags started appearing from almost every possible candidate - so I got more than 10 bags in one round of animal and conservatory collection. It's normally been 1, 2 or none!

I just started the fertilizer trading phase of the quest. Was full on fertilizer for a long time before this so glad to have something to use it for. We'll see how soon I'm down to zero! ;)

A timed goal is just that. Once the timer expires so does the goal & it doesn't come back. Unless S8 decides to renew it in a year or so like Bat Habitat.

All story line goals go in order and you won't miss any of those. After completing one, another will unlock.

Hello, could you clarify the part about the grooming mitts? Says the trade takes 2 hours, and gives 1 mitt. if you need 20 for the timed goal, in 24 hours, that's impossible... 1 every 2 hours is only 12 in 24 hours. So is it not 20 trades?

Read my notes under goal 7 again. The trade itself isn't timed, only goal 6 is timed and is well worth the effort to get the reward of 20 mitts. Good luck!

Just wondering if it's a glitch that I can't buy more stables. I'm only aloud 2 yet I'm level 50 and made my kingdom all ugly like to make sure I had the most amount of royal points but it still says that I need a higher lever... How much higher can I go?

2 stables is the limit. Unfortunately the message is the same for when it's true and when it doesn't apply :)

Royal buildings (and some walls and roads, it has to have the crown symbol on it in the market) give royal points. Stables don't. The Building Guide in the Hub will help you with numbers of buildings etc.

Level 50 is still the current highest level we have. ;)

Force closing the game usually solves the problem. Have you tried that yet?

✳️ Force close: double click home screen, swipe up and off the screen the thumbnail pics. This clears device memory.

Is this what you did? This does fix the count. In your news feed it should say someone responded to your request... Could be given Easter time you don't have many neighbors playing.

I'm on the last goal where I have to visit the stables 5 times. I have the haunted stables and have visited them but it's not counting the visits for the goal. Do I have to sell them and buy and build the original stables for it to count for the goal?

I really like the haunted stables and don't want to waste coins and materials selling, buying and building stables again.

This has been fixed, the haunted Stable will count towards this Goal now. We've updated other Goals that require collecting from the Stable to include the Haunted Stable as well, but if you come across more let me know again so I can update the team. Thanks!

Just writing this for those smarter than me, who thought about checking the forum before starting this goal. I did not think to read the info posted here and have just completed it. Such an immense waste of energy and resources, my biggest dissapointment in the game so far (3 year-old player). I was convinced the reward for such a consuming goal would be anything other than... a regular horse.

PS I should have trusted Thurston, he read this horse like an open book from day one

I?ve been diligently working on this goal because I?m always excited to get a new animal. Finally finished the 50 mane detangler just to find out I need 50 mitts, each of which takes 25 fertilizer, 20 water, and 10 coal, and the horse doesn?t even have special drops. What a letdown.
