Quest fire dragon for gold

I've sent my fire dragon off for gold many times over the last year always returned with minimal coins until now .... Out of the last five journeys he has returned from four with one gold bar...... Always very welcome :)

.... And this time it's two bars :)

I've been sending mine of 2-3 times a day. I get gold bars several times a week, maybe every second or third day. Just often enough to continue.

I'm in a drought, I haven't gotten gold from doing the quest nonstop in a couple weeks

Yup, it's rare but definitely a treat when that happens. I also do this quest over and over again. I think I get gold once out of every 5 or 6 trips but I haven't kept records.

I got 10 gold recently, but I usually send out Magic for more food, cause it's for coins, and I always need more food!

I no longer use that quest since I now can quest with Amphora, it gives more gold rate than the Fire dragon. But I think sometimes if you're lucky, the fire dragon quest gives 10 gold, but that's VERY RARE.

Coins and gold (1, 2, 5) mainly but it goes away when the Tales event ends which I think is tomorrow. But until then, do it every 3 hours

Thank you so much for this thread. I stopped sending the Fire dragon for gold a while ago, after I had tried 6 or 7 times and never got anything but silver coins. So I decided the odds must be extremely low. Tried again yesterday and got 10 gold on the second try! :-D

Fire's brought back 10 gold twice for me, 5 once, and 1 multiple times. I have the Fairy dragon out right now trying to get a few pink gems, but I'll head back to Fire soon. It returns gold enough to keep at it.

Mine has also brought back 10 gold twice. It brings back 1 gold pretty often and yesterday it also brought back 2 gold twice. (Just yesterday it brought me gold three times 2+2+1.)

Brilliant ..... Just had 2 x 2 in a row ..... + my 3 treasure L8 dragons quota this morning, certainly helps the gold fund :)
