I used Love lvl. 3, bmM. Third magic attack knocked him down, moreover this is the second time my Love lvl. 3 (the same dragon) beat high level Quetzal. Good luck, Tengoambre123. :)

I know sometimes commoners are quite annoying, esp. When they kept produced on ur island again and again, with multiple of them, lol, but I suggest u to keep at least one of them, including one Love dragon on ur isle, whatever level it is, good luck. :)

Was so happy yesterday morning when I reached Round 30 with 48 hours to go... thought this was going to be my fastest tournament ever, eventhough I had lost against WQ 6x and against Neon 20x (and some other losses against Spartan and Crusader and a few others)... And now I've been battling Chariot for the past 25 hours straight, counting 16 losses so far...
I understand the concept of chance... But this completely takes out the fun factor... We are suffering while other players breeze through these tournaments with hardly any losses (or in one case no loss at all - sorry Ken... You know I'm rooting for you)... So if there is a DS god (or someone from TL who can push a button)... please have mercy on us and let our dragons and ourselves get some well deserved rest (I'm definitely ready for the SPA myself)

Oops, didn't mean to exaggerate ... Lost against Neon 10x (not 20)... But I've now lost 19!!! times to Chariot... Three of those with Atlantis who worked so well for others...

Thanks for the vote of confidence. :) I ended up fighting Spartan 5 more rounds and ultimately losing everyone, so I had to ultimate. 25 losses just to spartan! :( But, I'm still battling! Finally made it to Warrior Princess just late last night.

Even though my heart is no longer into this game (at least for the moment) my head simply refuses to give up in round 30... The two of you gave me a new idea on how to beat Chariot: I looked up Snap and Spring ... they both have the same colors pink-yellow-green... unfortunately I don't have a Dragon with that color combo so I used the closest to it I got: Lightmare with pink-yellow-red...and IT WORKED... I FINALLY BEAT CHARIOT AFTER 25 LOSSES ... No I'm heading off to the SPA myself...I desperately need it :cool:

Not sure what dragons you have tried, and I don't remember what I used but I think it was a champ. If you don't have any champions yet, you could try a black type or blue/white super rare like Bluemoon or Moonlight. I hope you beat it! Good luck! :)

I would keep trying whichever ones you have that are leveled up the highest, especially if you have some high level blue/white or blue/yellow hybrids. If you are a newer player, (only guessing) there is a great tool on the dragon story wikia where you can check which dragons work best against certain opponents. I'm not a super new player, but not an old player either - however I am newish to the forum. Not sure if we can post outside links or not, but if you google dragon story wikia and search for the battle arena you will find it. It's usually a really big help. :) Good luck to you!

Thank you so much for the advice. My epic Air is on the breeding nest so I tried Fire and my level 9 Air...both lost...so I tried my epic Night and won with MmB. I wouldn't have thought to use him because I didn't think he had a chance against a diamond breed. Now onto Gladiatior!!!

You're welcome... glad you beat him... I found the basic dragons often to be very syrong against diamonds... With hybrids I check their color and see what is strong against them...it can even be a basiic baby that you have just gotten of the nest

I can't believe, after the horrible time I had with Warrior Princess, that these last five went down with relative ease. I'm glad to have Chariot, but that was really stressful.

Ok!! So after 5 losses (Atlantis, Warrior Princess, Quicksilver, Diamond 11, sunshine 1) to Chariot, I began to do research. I started noticing a theme where some people posted they won with firestorm, fire giant, amphora... Then I heard crusader, cleopatra, and lightning from a neighbor, (pink from lighting having a red split), also others on the forum who used red/yellow/pink to beat another champion.

So I started thinking... I need to use a dragon with yellow/red. Camelot has always been a strong dragon on my island and it yellow/red, and Camelot *looks* like dragon that should beat a Chariot lol... Plus Chariot is yellow/red colored in appearance so I figured, what the heck... and it worked! I did a Mbb attack. So happy & many thanks to those of you who posted your wins! I couldn't have done it without you!

Good luck to those of you still battling, and I would suggest if you have a super rare with yellow and red that has been good to you in arena - definitely give it a try! ;)

I would keep trying whichever ones you have that are leveled up the highest, especially if you have some high level blue/white or blue/yellow hybrids. If you are a newer player, (only guessing) there is a great tool on the dragon story wikia where you can check which dragons work best against certain opponents. I'm not a super new player, but not an old player either - however I am newish to the forum. Not sure if we can post outside links or not, but if you google dragon story wikia and search for the battle arena you will find it. It's usually a really big help. :) Good luck to you!

Lost over 15 times to both champions earlier and ultimated to get by them. Got to chariot only to lose...Atlantis(twice), Diamond, Dracula(following the yellow,red advice), Idol, Snap, Amphora. I've got level 10 diamonds and hybrids, super rares and "unbreedables". I don't understand why some seem to breeze by champions with only a loss or two and others of us fail miserably repeatedly. I never get through these tournaments.

Trying to decide how much I want this dragon been stuck on Crusader all day if I ult and things go the way they have the next round will be easy peasy but the final will be a pain with less than 4 hours left I will prob have to ult the final round as well so that will be 60 gold for the dragon which isn't bad unless of course I don't win round 29 ugh! Oh my goodness that was a painful end to this tourney! I thought I was in decent shape early this afternoon with just Chariot left to battle. After losing 9 times and it approaching 1:00am I'm thinking maybe I'll just speed up a few rounds ... well that was a pretty sorry decision as 6 more losses eat away at my gold. None of my dragons came remotely close to winning! Well I finally bite it and hit ultimate.

Final tally 30 wins 55 losses
3 ultimates - couldn't win against any Champion
24 gold spent on speed battles

I'm pretty sure S8 has programmed me as a tournament sucker. I have 4 champs, 3 recent diamond Dragons, a decent assortment of high level/epic super rares and unbreedables. Every tournament I think that just investing a bit of gold will make future tournaments easier. Hasn't happened so far.

This game is fun but seriously frustrating!

Won this one by the skin of my teeth. Wasn't going to do this one as I was so frustrated during the last one, spent a ton of gold on that one and still didn't finish in time.

If anyone is still fighting, I took another poster's advice and used a super rare yellow red (Fireflower) and won against Chariot. I did use Ultimate as I wanted to increase my chances but I figure 30 gold is worth the champion. Only time I used gold in this tournament so I'm happy about that.

Yay!!! I got the Chariot dragon...my first champion!!! Thanks to all the great advice on Crusader I was finally able to beat him beat Gladiator on the third try. Lost to Chariot on the first try, so I used ultimate to beat him. It was so worth it!!!! Doing the happy dance today...lol

I got my dragon last night with 7 minutes left, I used gems for the ultimate attack and as it was really late at night. I went to bed happy. I felt 30 gems was worth it. You really have to be diligence to get finished in time and I was out most of the day Sunday.
