Expansion maps/Venetian mask issue

For the last few days I've been busy asking neighbours for expansion maps for my arctic isles, however the newsfeed is reporting that some neighbours have instead answered my request for a Venetian mask, which was definitely not requested.

If you recently sent request for the mask, it could be that some neighbor are just now accepting your request(even days later).

Thanks for the reply, but no. I haven't asked for venetian masks. Hasn't the venetian dragon been expired for a long time anyway? I don't think you can request masks now.

Yes, the Venetian Dragon and Masks are no longer available. We're looking into this. Are you receiving Venetian Masks from the gift after you receive the notice?
