I think you got it, blue and purple means this'll be adding onto the black hybrid fails. Good thing I already got my Dark Angel and Black Diamond, and good luck to those who wants this dragon! :D

The fails on this are brutal. 25hr Penumbra, 23hr Night, 22hr Wizard. Of course I have a night fail going.

Yeah, I remember getting those as Dark Angel & Black Diamond fails, takes almost a day just to wait for a fail, and Penumbra even goes beyond a day!

The one time I would prefer a common fail, I get a rare. Of course my 1st fail is the 23 hour Night fail! I have never bred a new dragon on the first attempt. Usually, I have 2 common fails then get something else....

Ugh....blue and purple again? This one really should have been Pink + Blue IMO. Plus, it would have looked so nice next to Bubble in the pink habitats...

It's still a nice dragon though, so I'll be happy if I breed one

One way that I can think of is to use Night itself. For instance, if you breed Night + Water, it doesn't increase the total number of fails at all. However, it does remove the 23 hr Night as a fail (and adds 15 hr Deep in it's place).

That's pretty good, but I still hate dealing with Penumbra, its 25hrs breeding time is even worse than Night

Oh, nice! Didn't think of that! But I am done trying because I actually got a Seafarer on my 2nd try with Mistmoth and Glitter!!! Yahoo!

That was great advice about using night so I took that idea and used
Lotus x mistmoth and got it after about 10 coral fails and 1 deep fail
