A Note to Forum Admins and Parents. (Petition)

There is a desperate NEED for better moderation of these forums. A lot of swearing and bullying is going on, children who play these games and actively participate on the boards should not have to put up with that sort of atmosphere.

Please can the administrators or web designers create a function that allows users to 'flag' inappropriate threads so that the moderators can view and delete these posts if necessary.

But I also think it's a lost cause. Most of the bullying comes from TL itself. Whenever anyone voices any complaint
here they come with the same posts they use countless times no matter what game it is. And usually calling you mentally ill or swearing at you and calling names. Now I see they are even trying to blame the "disgruntled players" for the porn on this site. That makes no sense. Why do we want to drive people away? We want more to come so we can get our message out to them. I think TL is doing that themselves to drive ppl away from the forum so they won't have to hear people complaining.

I accepted a new neighbour sent a gift and got abuse cos he/she didn't like the gift! bad language is not acceptable to me a (grown woman) and certainly not acceptable for children, I of course deleted the neighbour.

It's not just in the game that the abuse is happening, Some people get overly aggressive in the forums as well. There DOES need to be some form of alert button.

I agree, and I also think that there needs to be some kind of alert/report system in-game.

I've seen neighbors bullied over their choice to purchase in-game items with gems. I have also received similar grief. The person in question repeatedly spammed my wall for hours with some inappropriate things. He or she literally would not give it up, despite the fact that I was non-responsive and continuously deleting the wall messages that appeared every couple of minutes.

First, it's nobody's business what adults do with their disposable income. Second, if there is no recourse available to assist players with other abusive players, then one should at least be able to block users from visiting them or posting on their walls.

It is unacceptable that there is no way to flag/ report gamers who are soliciting sex! I just received a solicitation from a stranger clearly fishing for young girls. Pedophiles can easily prey on kids using this game, and there is no way to stop them.

TL: if you don't provide a way to flag and remove inappropriate users, get ready for a lawsuit when someone's kid is lured to meet a stranger through your game.

In fact, unlike you, I'm not willing to wait until that happens. So get ready to hear people in the media talking about your failure to protect kids.

there needs to be a "report this post" button, way too much smut, I cannot even come to this site while at work anymore. I am afraid some porn pic will come up.

They should also make you register to be a user here.
And I also agree, I am gem buyer, once every few months..I have been called selfish.. on my own bakery wall, really?

I agree with wanting registration. I totally disagree with your post. The bullies attack anyone who is positive or says anything nice about the games. Usually with an accusation that the positive player is an employee. Then snarky and snide remarks about ppl who buy gems. I too think the porn poster is a player who is mad about the weekly update thing that some are mad about. But if I say it's a non issue with me....wow...others pounce and attack saying it should be and anyone who it doesn't bother is stupid, uneducated etc.. So I think your post is false. But I'd like registration so I would know who the negative people are. That way if they're in my nbr list I can delete.

It's ok to be mad or unhappy. It's not ok to demand everyone be that way, or to belittle anyone who your problem is not an issue with. It's also not ok to attack someone just for posting they don't agree with you.

Well said, especially the part about it's o.k.to be unhappy but not to demand that everyone be that way. I really can't believe that anyone actually believes that Team Lava monitors this forum and
attacks players who post unfavorable comments.

I totally agree...and in addition to being able to report abuse/block users and such, there NEEDS to be someway to moderate what poeple are naming their bakeries! I have come across many foul and disgusting bakery names while browsing the community to tip poeple Certainly not for childrens eyes! And i don't want to see it either!

If you say anything about TL, even though it is the truth (as in they promise free weekly updates in all their ads on ITunes and are being dishonest about it), someone will attack you and tell you to play the game as is or find something else to do. Or that you are a spoiled child, or mentally ill, so on and so forth. So, I think the attacking is from both sides!

Even though I think TL is a terribly unethical company, I have some friends who play the boxes and probably spend, 200 or 300 bucks on the thing. If that makes them happy and they enjoy it, I have no problem. No one should be attacking peoples choices. We can agree or disagree...but there should be no name calling and foul language.
