Gemstone Quest

This is crazy. I emailed storm8 asking why I get food or coins when I do a gemstone quest. Answer: it takes several tries to get rare items. That's fine may this some hard to get but don't give me food or coins. There is a quest for those.
Why would I pay 75 thousand for 200 food and I can pay 5 thousand. This game is becoming more irritating then fun. Can't grow enough food to evolve them to a high level and the quests give you other items instead of what you pay for.

Valid point about the crops.

They are a better reward commodity then coins.
I understand the frustration.
You go for a quest and come back with something you are not looking for.

I'd be more satisfied if on a failed quest the Timer expired sooner.

For example the Lunar Quest

That has a 1 day timer. As tikas3 points out there are failed quests with sometimes less then satisfying rewards.
If on a failed quest for the Lunar quest my dragon returns in 6 hours with the coin or crop reward I'd be far more pleased with the result. I'm back early! I can make another attempt sooner! That is the un-given reward. Reducing the time on failed quests gives me more attempts. I hope they will give that some consideration.

I am not sure what you are asking? Can you provide more details?

Make sure that you don't already have 99 small rubies in storage. If you do, craft some large rubies, and try again.

No worries! I misread the picture you posted! Yes you can only hold 99 at a time.
