Alright, plenty of outcomes from this combination that I still need... I'll have some shots at it:

1) Chromadile (15) + Chameneon (10): 14 hours -> Chameneon :(
2) Chromadile (8) + Chameneon (10): 11 hours -> Chromadile
3) Chromadile (15) + Chromadile (8): 11 hours -> Chromadile
4) Frostfang (15) + Skyger (15): 14 hours -> Chameneon :(

O.k., I've already had it with straight dark-water attempts. I'm really frustrated by the fact that this particular combination has NEVER given me anything else but Chameneons and Chromadiles. It is just too disappointing to see a 14 hours timer appear, be in suspense for that time only to then see another Chameneon egg result from it.

Tonight already I went back to a 4-element attempt that can also breed it (dark-water-nature-electric). It gave me a 6 hour timer (Turtisle) which is a really clumsy outcome as the current Chameneon's hatching takes 14 hours, which leaves an 8 hour gap, so it looks like there will be no overnight breeding unless I speed the Chameneon's hatching using 8 gems. Not attractive. I'll wait.
The potentially good news about the 6 hours fail though is that it is very likely that the next attempt will result in a breeding time that is significantly longer than those 6 hours, which in that case would then create a desired hatching-breeding gap that I'll put to use for hatching the Typhoon Tiger. I currently still have 4 animals in storage, and one of my agendas is to find such 'gaps' to hatch them off asap. :P

Looks like Dark/Water has been receiving some love lately: Freezel, Chromadile for the Fladingo event, Typhoon Tiger, and now Mercat.

I love cats, so I'm glad it's not limited. I also don't have Sea Lion, Monsoon Marmot, and Freezel, so it looks like it's Dark/Water breeding time.

It would be a paradise if we could share duplicates. I once saw a forest with 4 unicorns and 2 kirins. I have none of those ~,~ but thank u for ur good intention heehee. When i have duplicates of the animal that i love, i evolve them to different levels so i can have both baby/junior and epic versions of them

Well..... no. :(
Unfortunately it was yet another Chameneon... For some reason I've only ever gotten Chameneons and Chromadiles out of this combination...
Plenty of ones I still need from this combination, so I'll probably give it a few more goes before switching to something else (like 4-element breeding).

Just put in a 4-element breeding pair and got 14 hours. Would be great if it's the Mercat.

Edit: Other possibilities are Chilly Goat, Hot Dog, Peamoth & Chameneon - none of which I have, so it can't be a fail in any case. Lovely!

Gem animals. And I seem to be destined to get duplicates . Tried my darnedest together catty puss with no luck. Hope to get Mercat though at the moment am hatching a chromadile and seem to be breeding another one. Hope I will get lucky and get this one at least

Managed to hatch this one for the first try.. It must be a reward for the disappointment that was caused by the unsuccessful breeding of the Catypuss. I had Thunderhawk for about a week for every try!!! Now I put Pandaffodil and Lightning Leo again, and I got a 22-hour-breeding time. Could someone please check it in the breeding calculator for me? I'm on holiday and it doesn't work on my phone. Thanks a lot!!

I had some luck with Dark/Water this week after switching to Electric/Nature for a couple days. In addition to the usual rash of Chromadiles, I managed my first Monsoon Marmot and the Mercat. Still need the Freezel but it may need to wait for other priorities.

When there isn't a timed challenge, I always try to breed either the money badger or the retriever..I've been unsuccessful so far, it seems to be quite hopeless to get any of these by breeding :((

Two chameneons so far and a 14 hour embryo in the den... Of course after countless chromadiles...
This time i tried different combo: 2 chromadiles instead of traditional skyger and frostfang, and i have two 14 hour animals in a row. Before they were just pure chromadiles. Can breeding 2 chromadiles reduce the chance of having a baby chromadile?

So glad I bought the Jade Kirin package when it was offered. I breed it with a Frostfang and just found out I have a Mercat on the nest. So happy! Love the looks of the little guy.

Finally got her 2 days before the goal expires. I love her baby form but why is she so tiny??? I always have to zoom in to take a closer look. And because baby looks too pretty i decide not to evolve her until i get a second mercat ;)

I got it first try with frostfang and Skyer I'm so happy I haven't gotten half of the new animals besides a lullabison. I'm so happy now if I can breed vinotuar and the monkey for that fire quest I'll be happy I've looked and tried all the combos I've had but no luck I'm tired of armadillos and planters and fallabys

If you do not hatch before the quest ends, you will still get the animal, but you will not get 5 gems or 10 xps,
