Which adventure would you say gives the most gem drops for your game (in number and consistency)?

I'm only playing since a few months, so might be wrong but I think when I receive gems from adventures (ive done from vault to desert), I always receive 2 gems.
Never more. And I usually receive gems when other rewards are bad.
About consistency, I have the impression to get gems every 3 adventures, no matter the one i choose.

Which adventure would you say gives the most gem drops for your game (in number and consistency)?

As far as the most they seem to be able to give, I've received as many as 8 gems from desert sands, 7 from dark caves, 5 from roaming bandits and 3 from simple feast. That doesn't mean the chance of doing that is high, though.

I received 5 gems today from the dark caves. I usually only get 2-ish from whatever adventure I do.
