Parts disappearing

One thing that's starting to get on my nerves seems to be happening at different parts of the day but sid will come in give me a rare part like shovel then the games starts doing some weird loading things (chopping of tomatoe) then when games finished that the shovel just disappears on me,
Same thing happened when I was receving the nuts needs for pyramid cake received 10 then game starts loading and I've lost them all why is this happening?
