Yes, just wonder what best dragon is to go for to maximize the number of tries. I don't have Crusader (Fire + Diamond) or Quetzal (Forest + Diamond) there are only two possibilities for both and the fails are 10 seconds and 20 seconds so it would be easy to do a bunch of these.

Is this feasible? Anyone else have and tricks they are going to try?

The changes are more higher for Rare and Super Rare dragons, not Ultra Rare dragons, the image says that.

If you want to breed Crusader and Quetzal, breed them after the boosted breed, it's a waste of time, just try to breed Rare and Super Rare dragons, Crusader and Quetzal since the only fails are just a matter of seconds, they are easy to breed. But it will take a couple of tries, my Crusader took 1 hour and my Quetzal took 3 hours until I had the 44hrs and 32hrs timer in my breeding den.

I was trying for Pride with Rainbow/Kitsune, yesterday I forgot to tap the boosted breed and got the Independence dragon (I think, the egg is 12hrs blue with a star) today I tap boosted breed and got 24 hours sunrise :(

Last few times we had free boosted breeding wasn't that great for me. First try this time I got a duplicate penumbra dragon. My second attempt was with Taurus and Leo (my only two Zodiac types) and I got a Gemini 15 hour breeding. What a great 4th of July present! Still don't have a diamond and have had to buy my Gold, Astromancer, and Angel dragons so havien't had much luck breeding those to get something new. Just I just have to wait my turn.

Diamond x stone ..... Not so bad, no prism but that's an ultra anyway , but now have a first Mossrock and 20 hrs which could be either golem or turquoise, neither of which do I have so worth the try ,

It's the first time I used boosted breeding and I am very happy with the results. I mostly used combo Rainbow x Divine hoping for rainbow type dragon and I got three new dragons: Macaw, Pinata and Clown. I unsuccessfully tried to get Pinata many times earlier. I also got Firestorm and some rare dragons that I already had: Lorekeeper, Iridescent and Druid. BTW, I forgot to boost breeding two or three times :o I just got 9 hours and hope for Healer or Twilight.

I have found you can easily get those hard to find common dragons when you use boosted breeding. Just don't forget to switch back or they will charge you gold after Tuesday at 10am I think.

I think boosted breeding helps a little bit but really not that much. I only got 1 super rare, and it's one I already have. But I think 4 out of 7 are non-commons is pretty decent. Thanks S8 for this boosted breeding week!

Boosted breed has never worked for me and I doubt it ever will. Im so behind on dragons I dont take this game seriously anymore. Even with both dens active I still run around like a chicken with its head chopped off. Do I keep trying for the prism, diamond prism and black diamond I cannot seem to get? Do I head WAY back and keep trying for cerberus? Or what about those pesky double and triple rainbows?

They really need to give us a 3rd or 4th den. Not some silliness that we pay for every few days, but a one set price. Otherwise my checking in a couple times a day just to collect my gold and switch out some dragons will become way less.

I have been trying for Divine for along time. I got 3 Winters, 1 Luck, 1 Sunrise (24 hr-_-) and 5th Tree Frog. Used Queztel and Bubble gum. Gave it one more try because Im done speed breeding and got 44 hours. I'm hoping its Angel because I already have Crusadar and Diamond. I might speed up just to try for Divine one more time before the weekend is over.

Wow I have been playing since Halloween and all these boosted breeding weekends I always thought it was just automatic. I don't pay much attention to the boosted breeding button because the few times I paid 12 gold for it I got nothing but commons. I can't believe I missed it all these times! Lmao. Last time I got a bunch of new dragons in a row so it just furthered my assumption that it was just automatically applied. Wow I feel like such an idiot lol. At least I just got a 44 hour timer. If it's an Angel and not Crusader or Diamond I'll be happy.

Thanks. Neither did I...but I must admit it was quite the surprise since I hadn't bred any new dragons in awhile. Besides that, this is the first boosted breed that I was able to get some awesome dragons that I didn't already have and not a bunch of common fails like the ones prior.

I've been trying for Mythic on both accounts all weekend. I've added a nice collection of Genies and Royals (plus a Peacock and a Trickster). The same 8 hours as Mythic. I had one last try this morning. 8 hours for both, but I'm not holding my breathe.

I wonder that too. I thought I can use a normal breeding button during the free boosting weekend, and I did that during the last boosted weekend. I only noticed the change of the price for boosted breeding when my son showed it to me. But I got used to the normal breeding button so much, that I pressed it 4 times during this boosted breeding weekend too. I still managed to get four new rare dragons.

I'm only using boosted breed because it's only 200 coins now, like you said it's worth the try, but so far nothing I like or want in my results.

I'm thinking that I'll get Helios through a regular breed later on, as all of my Diamond hybrids were bred that way, regular breed and without Diamond Temple.

The Lavender is ok, but no what I wanted. However... my very last breed was one last try for Charisma with Virtue/Magic. I REALLY like that dragon and wanted it very much! With this boosted breeding, I've got another Twilght, traded it, and now I can craft a Quartz and an Amethyst! So the breeding has been quite lucky for me. I have also got a Messenger, a Teacup and two March Mayhems at once when I had none. Haven't got a Charisma or a Pride for which I tride, though.

I never use gold to speed up, especially when I know what my fails are, plus I don't really think it'll make a difference even if I did speed up with gold, as I'll only breed Helios and stop after I get it

I only use speed-breed when there's a special reason. Like in these boosted breeding weekends, and then only when a breeding will be done 1 or 2 hours after I go to sleep. Then I use 1 or 2 gold to speed it, so I can put a new pair on the den or roost.

Or when I only have a few minutes left for getting a limited dragon (like Gaia now), and my den will be free in 1 or 2 hours. Then I can get another chance for the wanted dragon for just 1-2 gold.

That's a good deal to me.

But normally, I don't speed at all.

I rarely go after a particular dragon franticly, but rotate the dragons I go for. Atm (after this week for Gaia is over) I'm trying for Tiny, Mask, Medusa, Atlas, Saturn, Rex, Triceratops, Troll, Turtle, Castle, Jester, Owl, Chrome, Cyber, Darksteel, Double Rainbow, Mech, Armor, Gadget, Cerberus, Hook, Oracle, Trojan, Crownprince, Chess, Melody, Dapper, Pixie, Archon, Horizon, Divine, Iris, Lunar Rainbow, Fluffy, Godmother, Birthstone, 8 Bit, Healer, Manticor, Macaw, Emberglow, Explorer and Loch Ness. So each breeding has different dragons on the nest. If I try for 1 dragon in particular, I only get frustrated if I don't get it after 10-20 tries. This way I get quite a lot of wanted fails, and then I can be happy with a new dragon, even if it's one I didn't go for.

I got 3 dragons I didn't have during boosted breeding: Cloud (really wanted this one), Independence, and Elements (have tried so many times to get this one). I'm happy with these results.

Oh what do you know? I got a Firefly dragon just now, when I kept on getting other common fails using boosted breed lol It seems the game is telling me never use boosted breed

This event worked out quite better for me than last time; my other account ended up with Divine, Gemini, Cancer, and Aries, one after the other. Particularly happy about the Cancer Dragon, seeing as that's my sign. :D
