Need help and advice please re General store

Hi all, How do I delete items from my general store so that I can get stuff I actually need? Currently can't make any dishes with the items that I already have and my general store is full. Thanks.

Go into you pantry. It looks like shelves with meat and produce on it. There three tabs. Go to Pantry. At the bottom there is a trashcan. Tap on it then the item s you want to delete and the amount of each item to delete.
