It would be nice indeed, but TL first need to release the new element, along with the new animal, and then the hybrids would come. We still have the element tree with now hybrids..

Well, in light of the disastrous results of the last three weeks of non-stop breeding for limited breedable animals it had better not be another limited breedable one, otherwise I'll see to it that it becomes a "Chili Goat" instead of a Chilly Goat". ;)
Seriously, I want to get back to some 4-element attempts. Please let this newly announced animal not involve limited time breeding. :O

It's very nice, think again water / Nature is. But an ice element that would be great, but it would have to enter a game update.

One problem with introducing an ice element is that a bunch of the water type animals reference ice/cold already. Frostfang, Iciclaw, Glacial Griffin, Blizard, Cold Turkey, Chilldebeest, Winter Wolverine, Confetti Yeti, and now this Chilly Goat. I think it'd cause confusion.
I agree 100%. In addition I've given up hope on any new element. Plus I won't be fooled again by a flying rabbit doing flips on my screen all along thinking its a new element...nope another duplicate elements animal

It won't be released until Friday. Not sure if it's breedable yet or an animal to "win". I guess we'll find out then ;-)

Im hoping it is a new element (ice) that is breedable but it looks like its a water/nature hybrid. Looks good though :)

Doubt there will be a tournament. If S8 follows the tournament schedule, we should have a 30 round tournament on Tuesday (in the U.S.).

I didn't expect new expansions but I agree that this update feels super lazy. I mean there isn't even a goal for this animal and I can't remember when that has ever happened. Also I'm convinced they mess with odds because this animal is "Rare" and I sped bred about 200 gems and didn't get it

I have a 45h fail too with tubacan-dreambat , and my chance getting the melodeer went down to zero LOL
But no regret since i had no unicorn :)

Often a new animal doesn't have a goal. Particularly when they introduce the animal by putting it on sale (Pygmy Giraffe and Snowpossum comes to mind). I am not surprised that this was a relatively simple update. The Tuneful Trio just ended and there is still 4 days left in the Summer Ice Cream Social. I appreciate some time to catch up, the number of holes in my album has increased quite a bit the last month or so. If S8 keeps to the current schedule, there will be a full tournament starting with the next update.

I am still wondering if they are planning anything for the first anniversary of the game.

I like the laid back update. After the Tuneful Trio (and to a lesser extent Sapybara), I need a break from hunting for limited animals. It's also crunch time for earning the last Community Prize for the Summer Ice Cream Social, so I'm focusing on that.

I got one too! I used Blizzard and Planther. One of the few times I have gotten something new.

WOW..... I got it my FIRST TIME. I haven't had much luck lately with ANY NEW animals coming out. So this is nice I can FINALLY get something. Might not be what I wanted but it's good to see I still can get something lol

Oh also all I did was pair the Pandaffodil & Frostfang simple as that lol
