What are ice cream and syrup for?

I checked the HUB, and as far as I can tell syrup is used in only one quest (part of Pepe le Skunkupine chain), and ice cream was only used in some past event. Should I bother making any?

Both are used in crafting the sweet feast for the Desert Sands Adventure.

Freeing Sabina and doing her associated goals will unlock the Desert Sands adventure. It's always good to have at least stock on hand of everything you can. :)
