To Glimmer Beach

I have gone to the Glimmer Beach over 12 times and I still haven't encountered the Amber that I need. Is there a clue to getting this? It's very hard making these Potion of Gills to even do this adventure. Clues please anyone!! :confused:

FINALLY got my amber on the 24th try!
