The only easy breeding for me is armadillos and Magmacores.
I feel your pain infinitelove19. I'm in an armadillo breeding circle, again & again.
I did get an Apreil Fool somewhere along the way so that was cool.
Hoping for for something more interesting to come up.

I'm a bit sad I don't have a chocolate rabbit - oh well!

I got both Lullabison and Tubacan after a few tries, no more than 3 each. I can't believe how lucky I've been for this goal. Maybe they want to make it up to me for not giving me the Caturn :(

I was able to breed my 2nd Tubacan with choc rabbit and magmacore. Next pairing of choc rabbit and rock rhino gave me a 12hr timer...oh please let this be the Luabison..if not then the 2 tubacans can get cosy in the breeding garden :D..good luck all ;)

No, I picked up a few animals in the run which has now reached 59 attempts. Just none of them were Super Rare or an Ultra Rare. During that time, I did get a Hedgehog for the Pigmy goal a Lullabison and a Spruce Moose which I was missing, so it hasn't been a total flop. What is surprising is that no Super Rare in 59 attempts. I had never gone more than 40 attempts before without getting a Super Rare even if it was a duplicate. No Tubacan yet but I only have 6 tries of that one so far.

Congrats to those that have bred Tubacan, I have bred 25 armadillos, 4 rampages, 1 aperil fool, and 1 Lullabison, yep 31 unsuccessful attempts. Wonder how many fails until I completely give up.

Eighth try was the charm for me to get the Tubacan. I used a Volcamel and a Magmacore. The timing should work out OK. I have an Armordillo on the nest right now so I should be able to hatch the Tubacan in 21 hours. That will still give me time to hatch the Craguar egg and get the gem reward, while the Tubacan is evolving> Then I can use the Tubacan to breed the Melodeer.

Tried one more time for Tubacan, got another Lullabison, that makes 3. Decided to switch it up, bred Ancient Sloth with Ember Bear, hoping for Tubacan, Ladypug or Skunk Punk, instead bred Bamboon which is great since I needed it. So that makes 36 attempts for Tubacan.

If you got 9 hrs then that's a Tubacan. There's no other earth/fire animal with that breeding time. Congrats!

I had given up. I too have 3 Lullabisons, so extremely shocked on my last try. Hope you get before time runs out. As for the unicorn, months nothing, now three, almost easier for me to breed than a rare. Lol

On my second account, was almost like this, but no Magmacores and Aperil Fool's. 2 Lullabisons and Tubacan got 2 days ago and yesterday start breeding for the first time with Lullabison, and 12hrs, perfect.


I am done with this, TL is horrible and unfair with this fake thing of "it's just a matter of luck"! DS it is indeed the one game that is a matter of luck, but FFS? It is far away from that.

I got this on the 1st try today after soooo many fails since the beginning with the first creature. Now the wait to get it off of the nest and evolve it to rush and get the last one. Gonna be hard but I won't give up!

I've been breeding and using gems to speed up and I still haven't gotten the Tubacan. This is the 3rd one of these that no matter what I do I'm just not getting the animal. I love this game and I get that it's a rare animal but it shouldn't be so rare that breeding the right combo for over a week now does not result in getting the animal. It's super frustrating! I'm going to end up with another habitat that has one animal in it. If I get one more armodillo I might break my phone!

Of course don't expect to get it with first try, but it seems that odds are higher with this combo

It's a depressing thought, but technically you could breed for something an infinite number of times and still not get it. There's never a guarantee that you will get an animal if you breed for it enough times.

Well at least you'll have gotten two out of three. So far I've only got 2 Lullabisons. I just keep getting Armordillo after Armordillo. If ever there is going to be another THREE weeks of breeding for something limited then it would at least be nice if the common fails only took something like 3-5 hours max. and if that timer wouldn't be the same length as the limited animals. It's SO disappointing to every time see that 12 hour timer turn into YAANG (Yet Another Armordillo Non Grata).
No matter what, I am NOT buying the Tubacan: I want to get my animals through breeding. I'm getting very close to the point where I'll be just putting in effect my Contingency Plan (http://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?82454-Tuneful-Trio-contingency-plan). 2 more straight earth-fire breedings and if those don't yield a Tubacan (or a Lullabison), I'll force-breeed a 3rd Lullabison so as to at least fill the habitat optimally. The only other good things that have come out of three weeks of constant breeding hell are an Aperil Fool and a Bamboon (when trying a few times for the Sapybara). I also got three more Magmacores which get to stay at least in the forest until I absolutely HAVE to sell them for making space for a different animal.
Anyway, the end is in sight: only some 2-3 more Armordillos and then I hope I can *finally* get back to some 4-element attempts. Please oh please let that newly announced Chilly Goat NOT involve limited time breeding....

OMG - OMG - OMG: Read reaction #88 (right above) first and then this one.... This happened only hours after what I pessimistically wrote above!!!

YAAAAAAAY!!!! \O/ \O/ \O/

I was SO fed up with the constant Armordillo fails that I was about 2 breedings away from force-breeding a 3rd Lullabison when today's first shot at it came along. Half-heartedly I selected my trusty Epic Pyro Pony and Rock Rhino and.... couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the 9 hours timer!!! Finally the Tubacan! OMG: I'm so happy with this!
Now there will be precious little time left to go for the Melodeer... I'm already sure that I will bridge the gap between the 12 hour Armordillo hatching and the 9 hour Tubacan breeding with gems, but I'm not sure if I will be doing much speeding afterwards. I'd still have to evolve the Tubacan to level 4 too before being able to breed with it. The flower will be occupied for 2 more hours, I think that right after that I'll speed the breeding and hatching of the both of them and will put the Tubacan to evolve...
With any luck I think that without much more speeding than that I can have 1-2 shots at the Melodeer before the deadline comes....

Update: I did decide to speed up several things so I can have a few shots at the Melodeer. It'll be a close call, surely too close.... but who knows, worst case scenario is that I'll go down having tried it at least! ;)

I sped the following things:
-5:59h Tubacan breeding -> 6 gems
-8:59h Armordillo hatching -> 9 gems
-8:59h Tubacan hatching -> 9 gems
-9:59h Tubacan evolution -> 10 gems

Total: 34 gems. Ouch! I never spend so much on speeding through stuff, but I want to be able to have a few shots at the Melodeer...

Well I though I try once more after my fourth Aperil fool and I just got my fifth super rare Aperil fool. Getting one Aperil fool right after just getting one has happened twice to me . Guess there no chance of me getting the Tubacan never mind getting all three.

Okay just hit 50 tries! Last 10 only one armadillo, the rest volcamels and aperil fools. Are you kidding me, arggg about to say enough is enough!

Enough is enough for me too. I have been considering quitting for some time. This trio is the last straw. The majority of my neighbours have fails breeding too. I will finish the world event then delete.

What am I doing wrong? I visit and gift my neighbors everyday. I’ve even bought gems and this is now the 3rd event I will not get all the animals for. Is it best to stick with one combination and just breed it until you hopefully get the Tubacan or should I try different combos every time. I’m getting so frustrated with this game! :mad:

Well at least you'll have gotten two out of three. So far I've only got 2 Lullabisons. I just keep getting Armordillo after Armordillo. If ever there is going to be another THREE weeks of breeding for something limited then it would at least be nice if the common fails only took something like 3-5 hours max. and if that timer wouldn't be the same length as the limited animals. It's SO disappointing to every time see that 12 hour timer turn into YAANG (Yet Another Armordillo Non Grata).

Me the same.. Just got tubacan a few minutes ago with 5 gems to accelerate the breeding, and had to ?volue it, 10 gems, and now i breed tubacan and lullabison and...... 12 hours,,, i think it will be another of the 70 armordillos..... H?te it... I did not even buy the music land habitat... Still waiting until tomorrow, see if i have finaly the chance of getting a melodeer... If not, i will sell the two music animals, not interested anymore in this game....

Got my Lullabison right away but I have not been able to breed the Tubacan 6 hours left and got 12 hour breeding...guess the Tubacan will be unreachable...as with the Caturn...will not be able to put together the trio...how disappointing

Wow, now I know how people who couldn't breed the Caturn felt. No luck after getting Lullabison though I got a few Aperil Gools amongst the Armodillos. Good thing I didn't buy the habitat.

This was a very annoying event. I only got Lullabison a couple of days before it ended despite breeding all the time and finally just bought the Tubacan with gems a little before the end to get one chance to try for the Melodeer but of course it was just another armodillo. I did get quite a few other animals I didn't have yet, though, so that was good.
