However, I will say that I find this to be a much prettier version of it than any of those others.... I didn't play in either the Growvine or the Toronado tournaments, and the Puffalo is pretty ugly, so I'd like to get this one. I think chances are probably pretty good that it could be a limited animal, however.

How much is the music habitat? Not level 14 so I can't see the price.

The habitat is 500,000, and the build time is 15 hrs. Unless you plan to get the whole trio, you really don't need the habitat for the first 2. The last creature of the trio is usually a single element which you need to buy the habitat for. TL hasn't removed the past trio habitats, so if you don't have enough coins you can always get it later. :)

Nope... definitely "Limit reached", see the screen shots.
I think it must have been due to some glitch: the game was open when Friday's update became available and that is what it looked like in the shop. It came across as incorrect and therefore I took the screen shots. Now... I did start a 12hr breeding when the shop still looked like that. I wonder what the egg will be when it's done in 2.5 hours from now. If the game really "thought" there was a limit on it and therefore set the chance at a the Lullabison to 0, then by definition it will be an Armordillo. But.... as mentioned: during earlier earth-fire breeding attempts at animals I've gotten SO many Armordillos, that there's no way to be sure that it would be due to that.
If, OTOH, it IS the Lullabison, then at least I know that the glitch did not influence the breeding (or at least not negatively). Later, I removed the app from memory, started it again and now it looks normal as expected: the habitat can be bought for 500,000 coins and the animal for 600 gems and mentiones "Limited Time.

I was lucky enough to get the Lullabison on my second attempt. Fortunately for me that this goal came when it did, I haven't managed anything above a rare in my last 50 breeding attempts and the Lullabison is only a rare. Back to trying for the Skunk Punk until the next update, when it will be time to do this again for the second member of the trio.

I'm still on the "way of pain". I have a main account with the following results so far:

6) 12 hrs.... we'll see. I bet ya the egg will again be yellow/red/purple, instead of cool blue one...

"This is the dawning of the age of Armordillos, Armordillooooooos...." :P

Then there are two additional accounts that my daughter uses sometimes and that I try to use once a day for gem gifting. Just for the heck of it over the past few days I gave those two accounts consecutive tries too, on both accounts so far I got the same results: 4 Armordillos in a row, and currently both have a 12 hour timer again.

For some reason the earth-fire combination seems to be particularly difficult for me. I tried it 24/7 during ALL of the duration of the Mamaroo on the main account and never got it (whilst we got it on the first try on the iPad), I never managed to get the Aperil Fool either, not during the 24/7 tries when there was still a goal attached to it, nor during the Mamaroo attempts. Then there's the Magmacore which I did get but took MANY attempts and finally the Chocolate Rabbit, which I did get too, but just hours before the goal expired, so I missed out on that, but still happy to have gotten it. :P
The only earth-fire "special" animal that came extremely easy for me, be it through a Hedgehog detour, was the Pigmy for which I got the Hedgehog upon the first try. The egg is still in my storage (together with the Dread Panda) waiting for a long 'slack' space to come along between the nest being available and waiting for some ultra rare breeding attempt to hopefully finally give a 24 hour or 45 hour timer. But... as long as this limited trio hasn't been finished yet, all ultra-rare breeding attempts are put on hold.
For the cosmic trio it started off like that too: 11 days of 24/7 attempts at the Plutopus, then I got fed up with it, tried for some other things and easily got two Lemurcuries (kept both), went back to trying for the Plutopus and got it easily in a few tries. I totally lucked out with the Caturn, which I got on the first breeding attempt of Lemurcury and Plutopus.

It really is all about luck (and dealing with a lot of Armordillos for this one...).

Meanwhile, fortunately there's other stuff to focus on too.
My top priority is to "harden" my "A-team" fighters in preparation for the tournament that will probably start tomorrow evening or on Friday. I just now pushed the Blizard to level 14. It's the last of the "core fighters" that's not yet at epic level. By tonight I hope to have it ready for evolving, so it should be epic just 2 hours or so short of the start of the tournament. :P
The Treent, Gold Lion, Thorilla and Ancient Sloth were already pushed to epic level in the past two weeks. After the Blizard I'll do the same to the Vinotaur (currently level 12) and then the Pluma (currently level 10) as both fill one single gap that's not covered by the core fighters. After that, there will be some "B-roll" animals to bring to epic level, one of them the Ember Bear which my daughter really likes and wants to see epic, and I'll probably also work on some more of the super rares. Now, of course if an ultra-rare were to come along the lines, that would instantly be priority number one for raising. :P

With the outcome of the Rampage and then the Magmacore and then hatching the Craguar egg, I hope to have broken the Armordillo spell is broken for a moment. Then, with the release of the Sapybara, I decided to have a wildcard 4-element attempt at a Crystal Unicorn, using fire-earth-nature-dark so the outcome could be a unicorn, ANY of the 4 currently breedable limited animals as well as several others that I still do not have. This trick worked perfectly with the Ladypug and it's a bit more fun to have a "roll of that dice" (which currently has 34 possible outcomes).
I instantly got a 12 hour timer which can only be the Lullabison, or yet another Armordillo. Once the Magmacore clears the nest, I'll know.

You are not alone. I just got my 13th fail today, and they all consisted of 12 Amordillos and 1 Rampage. I was very lucky to be able to complete the Cosmic trio, but I hope that this time I didn't buy the habitat for nothing. I remember from the last event that I wanted to have anything other than raining Rainguins, but now I'd rather have Rainguins more than Amordillos. :rolleyes: I hope that we all get the creatures in time to breed for the last of the trio. So much for "rare" animals. :(

Too funny! Han and Luke must be busy in other parts of the galaxy, because I am being overrun by armordillos. No music at all on my planet.
Not buying the habitat until I have at least 2 animals.

Two armordillos a day since the event started...18 commons in a row and not a single rare/super rare. I don't think I've ever had such dismal breeding results since I started playing this game when it came out! In a depressing way I guess it's kind of funny?

Hopefully someone can dance the lucky breeding jig and increase my odds! ;)

Same here. Since I don't keep duplicates, unless I get both the Lullabison and Tubacan, I'm not buying it. I have the money saved up for it (started saving when the event first started), so if I don't end up getting the habitat, at least I can use those coins for something else.

Finally after breeding a bazillion armordillos I got the lullabison.

So so shocked if not sure what to do next. Lol.

I was SO fed up with the constant Armordillo fails that I was about 2 breedings away from force-breeding a 3rd Lullabison when today's first shot at it came along. Half-heartedly I selected my trusty Epic Pyro Pony and Rock Rhino and.... couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the 9 hours timer!!! Finally the Tubacan! OMG: I'm so happy with this!
Now there will be precious time left to go for the Melodeer... I'm already sure that I will bridge the gap between the 12 hour Armordillo hatching and the 9 hour Tubacan breeding with gems, but I'm not sure if I will be doing much speeding afterwards. With any luck I think that without much speeding I can have 2 shots at the Melodeer before the deadline comes....

Getting really tired of this now. Before this event I had 3 weeks of constant Planther fails while trying to get a Jade Kirin and now nearly 2 weeks of almost constant Armadillo fails. I have got a Tubacan as a "fail" and got another one this morning but the breeding pair I have just put in has thrown up a 13hr breed time so I know I haven't got one again :( I had a gem sale on Monday and almost purchased some but when I realised I would probably be just throwing my money away I decided to keep my card in my pocket. That is how it is going to stay as well - just bored senseless with this game now :(

Oh my gosh finally I managed to breed a Lullabison, after so many attempts I got one. Almost sold it too as I've been in that rhythm of breeding, hatching and selling countless Armordillos. I used gems to speed it along. Don't give up players as I'm telepathically sending my luck.

So with you guys on this one! Been breeding steadily since the beginning and have not gotten any!! Learned my lesson after the spring event when I foolishly purchased the Flower Field habitat for the special dragons and had the same thing happen. Now it sits there..... can't put other dragons in it and can't store it either!!!

Am I doing something wrong?? And can the lullabisons go in an earth habitat or do I have to buy the musical one (which I can't afford yet)? Thank you and sorry to those who don't have one yet.

No need to be sorry :) Congratulations on the Lullabison :D
Both the Armordillo and the Lullabison have the 12 hour breeding time, so your next animal could be either of those. Since the Armordillo is common and the Lullabison is rare, the odds are more in favor of it being an Armordillo. But if it's another Lullabison, you have two musical cuties to care for if you so choose :)

And no, you aren't doing anything wrong. It's not uncommon to get the same animals in a row (especially for common animals). Multiple players in this thread have gotten Lullabisons in a row actually.

Good luck on your Magmacore hunt! I need that one too, it'd be nice to get one as I'm trying for Lullabison and Tubacan.

I have been trying steadily since the beginning and have not gotten any of the music animals. I set my alarm each time in order to constantly breed and hatch, but to no avail. That is ridiculous. It is a waste of time.

Getting the third animal is not any easier. Got lucky initially. Now Armordillos and Volcamels galore. Unable to try for Sapybara or the new dog, because constantly breeding for music animal. But I am missing so many already, it does not even matter. Getting bored. [yawn]

I spent the entire time breeding and hatching, and I used an alarm so I never lost an opportunity; however, I didn't get one single music animal. That is a rip-off, IMO. It takes all the fun out of the game
