play on ipad and iphone

Can i play Baker Story (or Farm Story) on ipad and iphone?
I mean play it in the morning on ipad and in the afternoon on my iphone?

I have both an iphone and an ipad. I started on the ipad and when I downloaded the iphone version I had to get a new identity. I wanted to share the same one, but I did not have that option.

I think the reason may be technical:
Every device has a unique hardware ID. I believe Team Lava uses this ID to synch your data with their server. Just my guess...
