New phone

I recently got a new phone, upgrading from an i4 to i5 and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to transfer my game data over to the new phone, instead it's wanting me to start over with a new game. Is there a way for me to keep my old game and put it on the new phone?

If you had set up your Storm8 ID and password on the farm on the old phone, then you can transfer the farm over after you install another Storm8 game (forgot which one)---there was a thread on this topic somewhere on the forum.

If you had not set up the password for your farm on your old phone (and have already transferred the information), you have no choice but to start over. This happened to my daughter a few months ago.

You can email support@teamlava.com and they can transfer your games.

If you no longer have your old device, I would advise using the storm 8 transfer so your storm ID and games are removed from your old device.

If you still have your old device, you can play your games on both devices by using the login feature

If you have already set up a new storm ID on your new device, you will not be able to transfer yourself.
