Treasure Terrace Habitat Gold Limit

Hello, can someone please help me? I know that the treasure terrace habitat holds 2 dragons and 5 gold capacity. Is it possible to have (2) level 7 (4 gold a day) dragons and if I collect every 12 hours will I get my 8 golds in 24 hours? Or will I lose 3 golds a day and only get the 5?

5 gold daily means you'll get 5 gold in 24 hours, so in 12 hours you'll get 2 gold each, and so you're correct, you won't lose gold unless you wait over that time and your habitat max out at 5 gold
