You have to click on hearts in the neighbor's kingdom; apparently any heart, not just shops.

It looks like for Visiting Neighbor's Shops, you only need to tap 50 hearts of your Neighbors' kingdoms, and you don't need to visit 50 individual neighbors. So if you really want to help out your neighbors..., please click on your buildings!

If you see neighbours have responded to your request but your counter hasn't gone up, force close and restart the game to see the increase.

Note that the artisans are an item that goes into your inventory so it's likely that the 20 requests back a day limit applies.

About the resources needed for this event (more or less):

285 wood (including the resources for the wooden beams, fancy beams and royal beams); 95 stone; 6 simple glue; 6 super glue; 96 iron ore; 54 jewels; 64 silver ore; 2 yellow dye; 55 pile of seed; 8 royal beams; 100 wool; 80 hide; 5 red dye; 5 blue dye; 25 fertilizer; 72 water; 3 faerie jar; 30 fur; 119 sap (fancy beams and glues); 24 glimmerdust (super glue).

I?m probably missing something, but in general this is what we are going to need.

From what I've seen, we might need as many as 95-125 piles of seeds and 6 yellow dye.

You can still upgrade the Gazebo to LV 5 and get all of the drops, even if you don't complete the quests by the time limit.

However, you won't be able to make the artisan's Hammer, Giant Seeds, or Bolts of Cloth after the event ends because those are tied to the quests themselves.

I just got the new/old update to build the summer gazebo ...ok great I don't have this ....
But there's a problem...The Degree is to high Ask Neighbors 50 & visit ...my requests sent on my end but neighbors are not getting!
I figured out why ...yesterday (game yesterday) I had to ask for 75 hair ...I'm still getting hair from yesterday I guess ...I sent out to all my neighbors not even imagining I would have a timed event come up...
I have a friend who was done with her request goal 3days ago & is still receiving them ...her gazebo requests didn't go through today either .....
So does anyone know how long I'll have to wait before My neighbors will see my requests ?....ugh this is so confusing

Well firstly this is a hard lesson to learn if it was Thursday evening with a new goal no major problem, send all the invites you want you won't have to worry for at least a week. But I learnt like you not to send invites to everyone after the weekend. Unless it was a small amount of requests.

This could take a day or more. Your best bet is to send the invites at your first opportunity and you will get back a mixture of the two probably it depends how quickly your neighbours respond but as the gazebo is a timed quest concentrate on this if after a day or two your still getting them it may be worth gem skipping this step. I found this quest tight for time as I was level 20 when I first got it. And get some sheep if you haven't already. Your going to need around 80 wool if I remember correctly.

Hope this helps.

Thanks :) ....I have so learnt my lesson, I'll only be sending out after a Thursday update from now on! ....
I'm level 30 , I'm glad something will use my wool I'm always maxed on it ....I'm gonna make hammers and gather iron/wood ....if my requests don't go through by the time I'm done preparing for the next step..I'll skip....might have to 8days does seem tight for all the resources ....
Thanks for ur reply ....I'll never be making this mistake again , live & learn :)

My problem is I cannot DO the goal from the part where I left off last year. Is this only for people doing this the first time today?

I don't think that I can finish it. The first task will need 3 days to finish then the whole thing lasts only 8 days :(

What is the most efficient way to earn coins? I just spent all I had on an expansion and I'm gonna need 200.000 in two days time.

Add a ton of friends -- add your name to the Add Me thread and accept everyone. Send requests for this challenge to new friends... the new people added will all be current players so your requests should add quickly.

I'm a bit confused. Last year I levelled up to the required level for this quest one day before the end- obviously never going to make it! I got the old un completed gazebo out, but will I not be able to finish it? I'm really sad!

On my 2nd account I started this quest too but wasn't able to finish because of the wool requirement. But...the goal showed up where I left off so I'm crafting the cloth now. Hopefully I'll be able to finish the quest this time around on that account since it has an 8 day timer.

Are the last steps missing from your goal book? Or you're not able to upgrade?

What do you do if you were able to build a gazebo last year but weren't able to complete the entire challenge? I only have a level 3 gazebo. Should/can I just delete it and start over?

Do you have any goals in your goal book? On my 2nd account I had 2 goals show up so I got mine out of storage too. It's level 3. 2 new goals appeared for me...crafting the wool cloth and the other was visiting the conservatory 5 times. I can pick up right where I left off thank goodness. The first few steps took forever so I sure wouldn't want to start all over...lol

If it's like the stead quest and I can only get 20 back a day (already got the hair from yesterday's requests today) then will it even make a difference?
I added a lot of (claimed to be active) neighbors during the garden & steed goals per/request who ended up going to a zero social rating in the weeks after .... :( Id rather not go down that road again...I'll probably wait till CS day resets and if mine don't go through I'll skip for 100 gems...

I've really learned what not to do before an update :) ....

I have no goal. Is that because I have a half finished gazebo from last year?

Can a mod find out if we can finish our unfinished ones or if we can start a whole new one so we can have a finished gazebo? I think I could finish it now that I'm a higher level.

Nothing in your goal book at all? Mine picked up where I left off. Got 2 goals related to the gazebo--- crafting the woven cloth and visiting the conservatories 5 times which will then open up the crafting of large seeds.
My Gazebo is on level 3 & so I took it out of storage.

Maybe force close & see if the goals show up in your book

No, you forge it. Go back to post 1. The gem skip is if you don't want to craft the hammer.

Mines is also at level 3. I put it into and took it out so storage many times and rebooted the game. Nada. I don't see how resetting would help. Especially when we are at the part where we don't need anything from neighbors. But the ability to craft the seeds. It stinks that some can do it and others cannot.

It would be nice if we could know if our selling it and buying it again would allow us to do the goals. I'm also at a higher level. I don't even know why I couldn't finish this in time but I know I could now.

If you're awake when the TL day changes, I'd send the requests out to everyone again except stormie. once you've received a total of 20 back, any combination, then send a request to stormie. The people that responded on the hair request won't get that request again and will hopefully get your new request before too many hair requests come in. :)

I don't have a "dog in this fight" as they say, but I'm curious if those that can continue the quest where they left off had theirs in storage and those that can't continue had it on the board... Or if there is no consistency to it at all.

I have forced a close multiple times, my level 3 gazebo has been out the whole time, and I even deleted and reinstalled the app to try to see if that would fix it but nothing has worked so far. I'm in California and the update for the app happened almost 2 hours ago so I know that's not the problem... I'm with another commenter that just doesn't understand why some people can just pull it out of storage and continue from where they left off and some aren't getting anywhere. I would hate to have to start the challenge over but I am far enough along in the game that it wouldn't be so bad, as long as I could be a part if it and get it done. That unfinished gazebo has been a sensitive topic for me. Anyone email TL yet?

I also need to craft the woven cloth.

The gazebo....my first ever event in CS! Have fun everyone! Definitely read ahead on the goal steps and plan your resources.

If anyone needs a neighbor for requests go ahead and add me, I check in several times per day and answer all requests.

The gazebo dropped seeds and ice cream for me on the last collection.

Can I keep playing the Summer Gazebo quest (visiting neighbors) while waiting for a response from Team Lava? Or will it mess up any 'resetting' they may do?

Thanks. :)

I need to collect seeds by tapping flowers and then visit the conservatories 5 times for it to open the goal to craft the large seeds in the greenhouse. Do you have this goal in your goal book?
I also need to craft the woven cloth.

No goal. Weird. I'll try to be patient. Tap tap tap tap...waiting patiently. Lol

Only 1 neighbor responded to my request. Weird??? I haven't asked anyone for anything for more than a week, so I should be getting more than 1, right? Considering I get their requests all the time and I respond promptly. So it's not on my end and not on theirs. Also, that 1 is showing in my Inventory which is the first time that happens. It shows as 1 out of 3 ??? Shouldn't it at least me 1 out of 50? I've tried everything, force stop, shutting the tablet and restart it. No idea what to do. :(

Xyn25, without knowing your personal situation, these suggestions are just based on my experience. I don't know your level in the game nor your experience, so please don't take any tips as anything other than tips for playing. I hope this will encourage you to get through the quest. And maybe it will help someone else along the way.

I agree that timed events can be impossible when we are looking at day 1 and ALLLLL that needs to be done. However, since we have a great team of forum mods who provide the full layout of the quest for us to look at, it gives a chance to work on building resources for items needed later, which will save a lot of time once that goal is triggered. Here are a few tips based on my game play for timed events and maybe something will help you out.

1st: Stop Everything Else
I put other goals/quests out of my mind unless there are gaps of time I can work on something not "timed-goal" related.

2nd: Resources
I take a look at the entire quest and note the resources I need to begin working on.
Then I see what I have in my inventory already and determine what to start working on first.
I plan any feasts and adventures that are needed and make sure I plant any crops needed or begin collecting from resources to craft these feasts.

note: IF you have the coins to spare (but keep in mind that goal #3 requires 200,000 coins) I use the following for building quick resources
WOOD: DEAD TREE (800 coins) - this provides instant access to wood, plus some bonuses (mushrooms, glimmerdust, or an extra piece of wood). there is no tending to the tree, it is placed ready to chop.
IRON ORE: IRON RICH ROCK (5200 coins) - you may max out your stone count, but if you plan it right, you can craft some stone blocks to use some so they aren't lost. I use iron rich rocks for guaranteed iron ore. No wasting energy on rocks and maybe only get a few iron ore. But that's MY personal preference and observation.

JEWELS Don't forget that Sabina's house and the jewelers often give jewels. And Sir Piggy as well, at times. I don't have much luck with mining rocks for them, but do get them on occasion.
ENERGY: If you can, do a trade for energy and DO NOT COLLECT from the trade until you reach a point where you need the energy (possibly goal #9 where we have to tend flowers x50). Plan your crops or meat in advance, when possible, to have enough available to send out another energy trade. Also, the 10 free energy we get daily from visiting neighbors, WAIT until you need the extra energy to visit them, just don't let the day end without collecting and lose them for the day.

If you still have the builder's hammer showing in your magic forge, start working on those while you are waiting for neighbors to respond. This will use the extra stone from mining the iron rich rock. I finished the builder's caravan LAST WEEK and now the hammer isn't showing up anymore grrrrr... I can't believe it!!

3rd: PLAN out the time needed to complete the quest
Don't plan to the last minute!! Try to plan with a day or two to spare.

When planning, make sure you don't use resources needed early in the quest for items that will be used later in the quest (i.e. crafting royal beams for goals #6 & #14 will use silver and jewels that will be needed for goals #3 & #4).
Based on MY personal schedule, I plan out the estimated times when I will complete each goal so I can determine if I need to use gems to skip somewhere or not. Your life and work schedule will be major factors in your ability to plan it out so good luck!

When you determine the approximate day you will trigger the goal for the adventure (#8), send your knights out the day before and DO NOT COLLECT THE ADVENTURE until you trigger the goal. This will save you a day in this quest!! OR if you use the barracks, then send them 2 days in advance.

If you have buildings, animals, plants, etc in storage that will be needed for this quest, plan when to pull them out so they have time to reset and be available to collect from when you reach a goal that requires them.

PERSONAL NOTE: for this quest, I will be skipping the woven cloth goal #11 and the bolts of fabric goal #13. For me personally, the amount of resources needed and/or the time involved with crafting the items is well worth the gems for skipping. I only buy gems on sale, so for me, it will only cost $1.32 USD to skip these 2 goals, and I will keep my resources too!! I will still craft the ink since it is easy and a separate goal, but it will remain in my inventory afterwards.

Keep notes. I like to copy the list of goals from the first page and paste them into a Word doc. Then add my own notes or even space to add tic marks to keep track of resources for each goal. But that's just me.

4th: Enjoy the quest
Now that you have planned it out, you won't need to stress about time (quite so bad - LOL). Keep your plan handy so you can review it and not miss something. I hate when I can't remember what to do next and do something that wasted a resource or locked up a crafting building when I needed it for the timed quest... grrrrr lol.

Good luck and have fun :)

4.Because Gold Makes It Better
Craft Silver Leaf x 3
*Silver Leaf: Silver Ores x 10 (Workshop, 5mins)
Craft Gold Leaf x 1
*Gold Leaf: Silver Leaf x 1, Yellow Dye x 1 (Workshop, 1Hr)
Craft a Golden Hammer x 2
*Golden Hammer: Gold Leaf x 3, Builder's Hammer x 1 (Workshop, 5Hr)
Rewards: 2,400 Coins, 7 XP

In looking at needed resources, I noticed something that I wanted to mention in case some folks just scan over it without looking for detail.

Goal #4 only requires you craft 3 silver leaf and 1 gold leaf, however, in order to craft the 2 golden hammers, you need more than that.

Based on my calculations, you will need the following:

6 silver leaf (totaling 60 silver ore)
6 gold leaf
6 yellow dye
then the normal items for a builder's hammer x2

Seems odd that a goal would be incomplete (IMO), but if I am wrong, I apologize.

Just wanted to share in case it keeps you from hitting a dead end while having to collect resources on the spot.

Yes, and I also noticed that the list on the first page of everything you need doesn't count the two hearty feasts and five longswords.

I have a unusual question that maybe someone went through last time. I'm already making woven cloth for the troll castle plot line. When the quest comes up for me to make five cloth, will it count the ones I already have in my inventory, or will I need to start making five from that point. Honestly, the 100 wool in eight days seems to be the most challenging part of this quest, so it would be a relief to know I already have a start on it.

There have been events before that woven cloth on hand didn't count. Since this one says CRAFT 5 woven cloth, I believe this is one of those where you will still have to make all 5, unfortunately. Maybe someone else will remember more specifically.

Oh my, I have got all the wool related quests at the same time.

I just finished collecting for the dragon egg, about 80 wool.
Then there are the ropes vor Ivy's yellow skunkupine catching, about 60 wool.
Upgrading the troll castle, 3 woven cloths, another 60. Just for the first upgrade.
Griselda's carriage, about 50.

And now I need another 100 for the gazebo.

Tad bit annoying. Good thing I caved, and got myself two sheep. Otherwise this would be impossible. Depending on the amount my stable's provide me with, it is still going to be tight. I would almost go and buy myself a third sheep.

Do you play some of their other games? On bakery, fashion, restaurant and about three others they don't redo goals because that would be tedious but they do release prizes and items once relayed to goals. For instance they could have made the gazebo for sale outright but knew many people wouldn't have bought them.

So they did something to clear up their week of no new content and gave newer players something old but new to them to do. I don't see what the big deal is. There is always something to do in the game, even if someone thinks they don't have something to do.

And we just got goals last week. I'm a mad level player too and I still don't get why people go off when they don't give us something new, every single week. When they do release something intricate they still get complaints.

If there is nothing to do, we can ignore the game and do something in real life.

I do feel sorry for the long term players. Even though I had no involvement in last week's quest for Boarina I read all the thread, and thought how lucky I was to avoid all the hassle.
Now this week there is nothing at all for them, but a great, challenging re-release for us newbies, with hopefully no bugs or glitches.

you have to complete one step before heading into the next one, so if you've built your gazebo, you have to have all of your requests back from neighbours. it's not clear from your post what step you are on, but if you've not visited and got the hearts or received back 50 requests (which will take a couple of days), then you just are in the waiting game.

If you already had a level 1 gazebo from last time, then my understanding is you cannot participate in this goal. I did read some can though, can't explain why that is! (maybe an android vs ios thing?)

I think I am going to be unlucky here. I levelled up to the appropriate level for this quest the day before it finished last year. Because I didn't realise it was time limited I started it. But that was enough to make me not eligible this year and I will be stuck with a level 1 gazebo forever :(

Hi Luna2cute!

No, they did not. :( I received an email from them saying it was a permanent action and it couldn't be reversed. I am a level 50 long time player. All I need is a golden hammer to upgrade my gazebo. No goals are posting. Was unable to finish last year. When I read that this was a chance to finish I was excited. There a few timed goals that I didn't finish like the winter/reindeer ones so I have unfinished buildings in my inventory.

So to be clear, this goal is only for those who never started it? Not for those of us who are unfinished? Or is there some kind of updating action I need to complete to see the goals?

I agree, the wool count is difficult. When I did the troll quest you mentioned, I chose to skip with gems because I didnt know how long it was going to take to collect enough wool. I even bought 2 more sheep but foolishly didn't research beforehand and see that it takes several times tending to grow it and that took almost 2 days. I finally calculated the monetary cost against the resources that would be saved and decided to just skip them. It's 5 gems per cloth so 25 gems saved me a lot af time, resources and stress (approx $0.66 USD). And for this event, I plan to do the same. If I get to the bolts of fabric and decide I don't have time (or just don't want to spend the wait time) I will use 25 more and skip it to. If you choose to do the same, it "should" keep the 5 cloths in your inventory and you can use them for the troll quest... Just a thought. **** 2 birds with one stone lol.

I would suggest that instead of using gems to skip the goal, you use them to buy wool and craft the Woven Cloth. You'll need it to make Bolts of Fabric which you'll then need to upgrade the gazebo.

Replying to myself - now I'm thinking we need 180 silver? 10 each for a silver leaf, and three silver leaf to make a gold leaf, so 30 per gold leaf. Then we need three gold leaf per golden hammer, so 90 per hammer, and we need two hammers? I am maxed out on silver right now but that's still only half of what I need?

And replying again, lol. I just looked at the pictures instead of the list and I'm feeling better. Okay, so each silver leaf is 10 silver, and you only need one silver leaf per gold leaf. So, yes, we need six gold leaf, but that should be 60 silver - did I finally get that right? Math is not my strong suit!

It's my first time really trying to participate to a limited event, so, and it will be difficult for me, so I'm trying to stock the ressources in advance (thakns to all we helped for this btw !!!)

* Do we have to CRAFT the hammers, or can we GIVE those that we already have in our inventory ?

* I just read that the Red and Blue dyes were to be crafted for the quest and cannot be stocked in advance ? Is that true ?

I can't say with certainty, it was too long ago. Lol but since it says HAVE 5 red dye and 5 blue dye, I believe what is in inventory will count... But I'm not 100% positive so if you're short on petals it might be safer to wait. I'm pretty sure the cloth has to be crafted since it says CRAFT.

Upon further review, while the outline text (step 12) says HAVE, the pictures show it says craft the dyes. But a note by that says inventory counts.

As a side note for those who are really worried that there is too much to do.... If I remember right, after the step that says SPLIT UP, there are 2 story lines that have separate goals that can be done simultaneously. I don't remember which steps follow which part of the 2 story lines, though. Maybe someone else will remember. :)

Bottom line is I THINK you will be able to do SOME of the steps that come after the adventure, while you are waiting for the adventure to come back.

Other question (I have a ton of these in store lol) i didn't quite understand how many seeds we need for the giant seed ! Does 30 pile of seeds suffice to have 10 giant ones ? Or do we need 300 ??....

I am not getting this event in my game. I was playing last year but I don't think I ever started the summer gazebo. I don't have it in storage so I bought it last night thinking it would trigger the goal. Still no goal. I am waiting on a reply from support. Any suggestions while I wait?

Was surprised to get this, as I thought I must have done it last year but apparently I didn't. So I'm waiting on hearing back from neighbors (19 more to go!) and working ahead to make sure I have enough items to quickly upgrade the gazebo and minimize time spent crafting items.

This set of goals looks tough to finish in 8 days. It seems that if you have enough supplies for the last steps in your inventory, you can still make the final upgrades to the gazebo, which is really the point, as the level 5 gazebo will drop goodies.

For me right now wool and royal beams are going to be the toughest to collect, as I used a lot of wool building a windmill a couple of days ago. Glad I have some trees and rock piles on hand to get through the first few steps!

So glad I built extra conservatories in one of the earlier events - I just need to find some space for them.

I just have one ill question...

If the pink alicorn can be re-released when it was Valentine's yet the SUMMER gazebo can be re-released when it's NOT even summer yet, (that's still a month away!)...
then whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy can't the Love Shack also be re-released when it's NOT Valentine's????

(TL/S8 ~ we are NOT gonna stop bugging you about that lil pink building! LOL)

OMG, I'm so dang booooooooored, lol

Beyond making the game exciting ect ect, there are also monetary goals to consider. The Summer Gazebo is a very difficult event for people without large amounts of resources, these people are likely to spend gems on the hard parts such as wool. By contrast, the Love Shack is cash flow negative in that people spend fewer gems on the big ticket-items such as the Alicorn, which is a coveted item. You also need to remember that this was the very first BIG event, and that TeamLava has never re-released items from large events (like world event prizes). This is still just speculation, but I am sure there is a kernel of truth here.

Sigh I wish you could pick when to start a timed event and then do it in a limited amount of time. My work takes me away from internet for a couple of weeks at a time. I completely missed the pink alicorn, and now I leave tomorrow and can't do the gazebo.

I would suggest that instead of using gems to skip the goal, you use them to buy wool and craft the Woven Cloth. You'll need it to make Bolts of Fabric which you'll then need to upgrade the gazebo.

Yeah, it struck me that you'd need to skip two goals and one upgrade to go that way. Last night, I went ahead and bought two baby sheep for 35 gems apiece. The babies have a four hour recharge time between pettings, so I'm hoping that will be done in a day if I keep my timer set. That makes me a little more optimistic about getting at least most of the wool in time since the cloth is towards the end of the event. Plus, I'll get wool forever now, which has often been a bit of a bottleneck.

Thank you and icastled for the advice!

Only once have I seen a goal where you had to send the quest instead of collecting it, so it is a safe guess that it is the returning that counts.

Wow this one is hard and very little time to in considering there are 16 steps and step 1 is at least 3 days then you also have to do an adventure at 1 day that's 4 days for just those 2 step let alone all the crafting that needs to be done and then only given 9 days to comple.

Not only that but the goals "separate" at step 7, I believe. Meaning only part of the goals after the adventure are tied to the adventure while some of the other goals are not and can be done independently of the adventure. You will possibly see what I mean. I got all I needed in just 2 crafts on my secondary account. So use both greenhouses at the same time and that should be enough. If not, then maybe just once more.

I would suggest that instead of using gems to skip the goal, you use them to buy wool and craft the Woven Cloth. You'll need it to make Bolts of Fabric which you'll then need to upgrade the gazebo.

That's a great option as well, but I can only speculate how much each wool would cost to buy. Even if it were only 1 gem per wool (which I highly doubt it would be that cheap lol) it would take 100 gems to buy the wool to craft the 5 woven cloth, plus the craft time and other resources used. To skip the step only takes 25 gems (5 gems per cloth). This will put the 5 woven cloth in inventory. If I choose to skip creating the 5 bolts of fabric, I THINK it will leave the woven cloth in my inventory (if I'm not mistaken). So I will only pay 50 gems total, save resources, save crafting time, and (IMO) have 5 woven cloth added to inventory. Even if I don't walk away with the 5 woven cloth in inventory, I still feel I'm ahead of the game. Again, this is only my personal view of game play and my opinion of fewest gems used to accomplish the goal.

One of the nice things about this game is the flexibility of choice. We each can choose what works for our preferred game play and share it to help others choose what works for them. The more ideas, the better :)

It splits with one doing adventure and other woven cloth ( I had 1 cloth from previously and it counted it). Following adventure is tending flowers and the giant seeds. Following woven cloth is taste dye and bolts of fabric. Then the leveling up uses the different items made.

You should verify if this is so. It may just skip the goal leaving you without the cloth. Then you'll need more gems to skip making fabric and more upgrading gazebo. The price of wool is 2gem per wool. I still have woven cloth in my crafting for troll castle.

Definitely a good point. And good to know what the wool costs too. Hopefully it won't cause any issues. It's purely an assumption but if we skip an item that is required for a later goal, it seems it would be made available. I should be at this point sometime tomorrow. I was basing the gem cost on the screen shots at the beginning of this thread, which were the ones from last year. For everyone confused on how to pick up where they left off with their gazebo, I have found that a lot (if not all) quests show that items can only be gotten through gems purchases. This isn't true (thank the CS gods!), and the best way to figure out how you craft the items is to look at the first page of this thread where all the goals are laid out and the pop ups are more descriptive as to how goals can be completed. That's how I figured out that the giant seeds were a task in the conservatory and the cloth is made in the workshop. Don't know if anyone was still having trouble and I hope you didn't spend the gems, but there ya go! Hope this helps!

Thank you very much! This is very helpful. I won't have enough wool to make all 5 woven cloths, and when I saw the high gem price to skip, I was afraid I wouldn't have enough gems to skip them and the fabric. So glad to hear it gives you the woven cloth when you skip. I'll have plenty of time to make all the fabric without skipping that part too.

On our side, we knew on day one that we would need a huge amount of wool and silver and could have all that and the dyes and royal beams waiting for us. Help, please 😌. I don't have the options I need in my workshops. I don't have golden hammer, gold leaf, silver leaf, cloth, etc. Is that because I don't have all my artisan requests in yet? I'm trying to make everything I can for the first upgrade, but I can't make the golden hammer. Are there any goals not tied to this one that I need to have finished to complete this one?

Don't panic I was In a similar position when I did this the first time round. Firstly work out how long the other steps are going to take you from how much time you have left. With that you know at what point you need to give in a gem skip a piece of cloth etc.

I had no sheep, and 1 stable. I ended up getting a 2nd stable and a sheep took about 3 days gaining the wool I needed and completed with a few hours to spare at the end. It's still possible. Good luck.

Just for information - if you have Woven Cloths crafted from before - they count against the goal #11 "Not So Smooth"!

I had 4 - some crafted before the re-release and few crafted during the initial tasks. I stopped crafting them because I was afraid that they will not be taken into account but now when I reached goal #11 (after goal #7 "Above and Beyond" the line split in two - "Ivy In The Countryside" and "Not So Smooth" and you can do them simultaneously) it shows that I have 4 of 5 target Woven Cloths.

That's a good news!

the stables drop like 1 wool each time, so little! even with 4days that's just enough for 1 more cloth?

I already got my dyes and royal beams crafted.

I can finish tending flowers and I've got 3 conservatory and a greenhouse

And the stables don't always drop wool. The sheep is a sure thing and occasionally drops 2. I'm pleased with my decision to buy two extra sheep which will be with me forever instead of using gems to skip cloth. I will say that it took closer to two days than one for them to grow, even with my alarm going off every four hours.

I'm on the "Surviving in water and Love" part and the "Not So Smooth" part. I'm planning to wait until there's two days left from the timer to continue the Not so smooth part to collect more wool but I will continue the other part. Will I make it? I've done the math but decided to ask here in case I missed anything :)
And also, I've made the dyes, will that be counted?

Korlcek
05-25-15, 01:29 AM
to upgrade gazebo to lvl.5 you'll need 5 Bolts of Fabric. Dye can be made before hand but Bolts of Fabric will need to be crafted after the goal starts. Each bolt takes 6 hrs to make, so it is enough to start first two 12 hours before event ends, third and fourth 6 hrs before, and the last one you can start crafting right before the event ends.

On timed events I hesitate to wait too much, but that's just me. I know collecting wool can take a lot of time so make sure you have everything else collected and ready to craft. Yes, the dyes in inventory will count so you can have those ready. You will need at least 60 piles of seeds but most likely it will take 3 times sifting to collect all 10 giant seeds so make sure you have 90 piles of seeds to be safe. And remember that the woven cloth uses hide and the final step also requires hide so make sure you have enough. Double check what you need from the list on the first page.
UPDATE: if you decide to skip any of the woven cloth, it is 16 gems per cloth, not 5 gems as it is posted on page 1 from last year.'s info The bolts of fabric are still 5 gems each. I would consider skipping bolts of fabric if you start to run out of time.

The final goal after reaching level 5 is to visit the summer gazebo (don't remember the reset time). I don't know if running out of time on that goal would matter since the gazebo is finished. You just wouldn't get the rewards for completing it (coins/exp points).

Good luck.

I don't know what's wrong with my neighbours but I received only 10 artisans a day for my request! I tried to ask only those neighbours who did show some activity, but still didn't get much more than 20 after 2 days. At that pace, I would have to wait for at least 4 days to complete that step! So I decided to skip it , spent 60 gems. Now I'm finishing my 2 golden hammers, hope I get in time.

I'm having huge problems with the "Sifting Seeds" part needed to make the Giant Seeds for the Gazebo. My greenhouse does not have any such option.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but nothing. I even bought a second one just to see if that would make a difference. Nope. There is NO "sifting seeds" option anywhere in my game. I don't know what to do. Is anyone else having this problem and, if so, what did you do to resolve it?

Hide was dropping before I got to this part and now they've stopped. As if this quest needed to be made more challenging!

I was wondering something. I place a baby sheep I had in storage on Thurs just after I got the quest and came here to see quest line and that I was going to need a lot of wool. 4 days later and petting at least 10 times it was still a baby. I just now changed. Finally yeah!

The Golden Hammer will not show up in the workshop until you get to the Because Gold Makes it Better task. you also can't make the gold or silver leaf until you get to that point. The best you can do to prepare to make it, is to make sure you save up your silver and have a few yellow dye.

I didn't notice if this has been asked yet, but are we still able to fully upgrade the gazebo after the time runs out, if we haven't managed it before? So that we can still get the drops etc. later on? I'm pretty sure I won't make it through everything in the allotted time, but if I can still upgrade later then I'll keep plugging away.

I'm not sure if this has been noticed/addressed, but the first moderator post in this thread says the update went live at 5/12...but it appears that everyone, myself included, did not get it until 5/21, which is a decently-sized discrepancy.

Was that a typo, or should we have had access to this quest for an extra week?

PraxisOfGood

You won't have the opportunity to craft the five giant seeds or the five bolts of cloth after the event expires. If you have them in time, then you will be able to fully upgrade the gazebo whenever you like. If you don't, then you would have to either pay gems for them to finish upgrading or (maybe) wait until next year for the quest to return.

You can still upgrade your Summer Gazebo after time runs out if you get the necessary items to upgrade using Gems. You won't be able to craft certain items, like Giant Seeds, Golden Hammer and Bolts of Fabric, anymore after the event ends.

When I am lucky enough to get a double drop of wool from a sheep, my total only increases by one. This has happened five times since I started paying attention on the 21st. :-(
