Game out of sync with server

I just got a message saying my game was out of sync with the server. It had me click for the window to go away. The game then removed six new plates of lemon meringue pie that I had just removed from the stove. This is a huge loss. I don't get money for them or anything. I have had this happen before. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there anything I can do?

Yes, it happened to me once too. Luckily, although I got the out of sync message many times, I only lost my food once. I noticed I get the message more when I am tapping quickly so I try not to do that when I'm preparing food.
