Notes:
1. Issue about the layout of the moats has been resolved and advice from TL is below.

Thanks for letting us know about this! These new Moats are different from Paths or Walls you may already have in game, so they may not align on certain rotations. In order to align these items, tap on the Moat that's not aligned and rotate it until it re-aligns with the existing Moat.
Let us know if there are any questions!
2. Goal pre-requisites: [info to be provided by Pika]. It would appear that you need to have completed all current storyline as you need to have Kaz walking around your kingdom. That means you need to have completed the Faerie Bridge.

In order to access this week's update, you must be level 21 and have "It Takes Trolls to Tango" complete, which is the last Goal of the Troll Sparing Pit (https://forums.storm8.com/showthread.php?77634-Castle-Story-1-22-15-Troll-Sparring-Pit) update.
3. Core storyline - NOT TIMED! :)
4. Boarina is decorate only.
5. You can get skunkupies from Ivy's Hut and from the 2 trades in the Royal Exchange (very rare drops though!) the drop rate for skunkupies was recently increased, so you should get one soon if you do not have one already.

Thanks everyone for your patience. We've made changes to Goal Hamme Fatale.

Task 1 requires you to have 1 Skunku-Pie, you still need 5 to craft 5 Boar Bait for Boarina.
Task 2 requires you to have 1 Boar Bait, but you still need 5 to craft Boarina.

For anyone who continued onto Hog Wild and A Moat Most Foul without Boarina, you should have Boarina in your inventory now. Let me know if you have any questions!




1. A Boar-ing problem
Brew 1 super strength Allergy suppressant (Potion Shop, 2 hours)
Pack 30 oranges
Drink the potion

2. A tree in tatters
Craft 1 Faerie Fertilizer - 50 fertiliser, 30 murmur, 30 water (Greenhouse, 1 hour)
Craft 1 Sparkle Spackle - 3 faerie past, 35 glimmerdust, 5 floral glow (Greenhouse, 3 hours)

3. Amber Augmentations
Find Amber from adventure (new adventure in the Castle/Keep and Barracks) 4 hours in castle and 8 hours in Barracks (may take multiple tries!)
Craft Amber trinket (you will need 1 amber, 1 trinket, 30 glimmer fragments (red ones)
Lay Amber trinket at the Goddess Tree (upgrade tree)
Adventure Requirements: To Glimmer Beach - 1 Potion of Gills (potion shop 2 hours), 1 breaded fish, 1000 coins
Upgrade the Goddess Tree: 1 Sparkle Spackle, 1 Amber Trinket, 25 water, 1 Faerie Fertilizer

Boarina is: 5 boar bait, 50 boar pelts, 15 troll horns

Warning!! In the Hamm Fatale quest - DO NOT MAKE BOAR BAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE 5 SKUNKU-PIES.
I just started two "Boar Bait" in the kitchens and lost the progress I had on the first objective (get 5 Skunku-Pies). Looks like I'm going to need 7 in total now, not just 5.... :(

I don't think we have received any info yet on what levels and requirements there are. It may require being passed certain parts of the story line. Other than that, make sure you have the latest update to the game.

Maybe you need to finish the goals related to Kaz ?! Just a guess. :)

Even if I wanted a moat I don't have room for it. More important to me is that we seem to be getting back to the story. I have been begging for that for months. I can easily ignore the expensive moat to get moving on with things. Seems like we are going to make fertilizer for the Goddess Tree. Put mine out as soon as it looked like it might be involved as it has a long refresh rate. Kept it out for months and finally stored it to make room. Go figure :)

Hi all, no idea why TL didn't start this thread, but looks like first post is coming along ok. I'll be back in a few hours to pull it all together if it's needed. Well, after the last Steed quest line, where TL promised that the last couple of stages would never be timed, and then they changed them to timed goals, I cannot trust that this goal is just in the story line. I hope it is ... only time will tell for sure.

Looks like I have several goals before I'll unlock this one. Really wish TL would provide some additional details.

Not sure about the potion but the trinket was made in the forge before during the Blythwood Sapling quest. Requires 50 silver if I'm not mistaken.

I didn't get this new goal today either.... I'm level 37 but don't have Kaz walking around yet (which I think takes faery bridge to trigger?). Looks like you would also need the ability to make allergy potions (that's locked by goal for me - haven't looked on the hub to figure out what goal triggers it) and also looks like you'd need a faery workshop in order to make the faery paste. (I know those faery workshops were released before the recent return of Kaz, but not sure if they are sequential or if they were just chronological)

you get to do this after you are a couple more levels up. You can do it yourself by going into the Menu icon. Once you name your kingdom, you can only change it again with gems, so chose wisely! :) SpiritWind.

Again no animation... The water, okay, I can live with that; there's wrinkling drawn in the water, it looks a bit like real movement. But the alligators.... Such a shame! I really expected some animation when I first saw the picture; but when I visited a neighbour....
Despite the fact alligators don't move much IRL, these look like statues to me, now.

In the past the trinket did disappear as it was consumed, so I believe the same here. I will only hoard 1 piece of each extra without using gems, as a nice souvenir!

Yes, you can get extra Ambers from the quest, I did! But not a guaranteed drop!

Edit: Be prepared to use your Potion of Gills, since it might take several tries to get the Ambers... Wouldn't want anyone to think it's bound to drop in a couple of tries...

Well for whoever is still on sister sister fertiliser is like gold dust and I've just used my entire stock for this one recipe this is one item I'm not making a duplicate of. Shame.

I used all my fertilizer trying to craft glimmer trap plants. Now I have to rely on random drops from sheep, pigs, and conservatories. I might get 50 in a week if I'm lucky. Gold dust indeed.

**** When I collected this morning saw some items & a gem. Then they just disappeared but the gem was still there. (Not a sync error cause not everything disappeared). Tapped the gem and then noticed the keep was ready for collection again!!! Ok...this is beyond ridiculous!

Did you start making the baits before you had all 5 skunkupies? I'll be getting to this step in the next hour or so. I think that if you don't have all 5 to start, it will just show 4/5. Then if you make a bait, it will drop it to 3/5 so the one you used no longer counts. I'm hoping that mine will show a check mark for that item. Then it shouldn't matter if I go below 5 in inventory since it's already been checked off. At least that's the theory. But it's not cool that it was set up this way. It's going to take a long time to replace those super rare drops.

Look at the link again...completing the last step in that quest (Practical Applications) should open up the fragment recipe for you. Hope ya figure it out. :)

Well that's my participation done with for a while in this quest. 3 pies only and cannot make any until I have all 5. So I'm going to continue trading to get the expansion tickets and pies. It took me a year to get 4 pies (used one in an earlier quest) so I expect we're looking at 4 months before I can move to the next stage of this quest. Lol.

No, that must be a misunderstanding...To craft Boarina you need 5 Skunku-Pies... Five boar baits, each one of those need 1 Skunku-Pie:)

It's probably because of that you needed to have all the 5 Skunku-Pies before starting on the bait crafting...

I had all 5 in inventory when that part of the goal started, but they did not count for the goal. I force-closed several times, but they still didn't apply, still showed 0/5. I know they were the right pies because I decided to go ahead and make the boar bait with what I had, figuring that ones in inventory weren't supposed to apply, and am now done with that step. Boarina is now crafting, but my Skunku-pies goal has never said anything but 0/5. Ivy's hut still has 4 more hours, and a Belladonna trade will finish in an hour. I have no idea how long it will be before I get 5 more, and I'm very disappointed to find that they should have counted, and auto-completed the goal, but didn't. The rules should be the same for everyone, and inventory shouldn't count for some people, but not others.

I started crafting as well. I have crafted four baits before realising that the first part that said " get skunkupies" was losing them. Does this mean that I will need to get 10 skunkupies? I had four and have collected from Ivy's hut twice with no further luck?

I did 9 adventures for the amber and never got one. I got impatient and gemmed it. That's why I'm not willing to gem past the skunku-pies, I should have tried a few more adventures and saved my gems for the pies. ;)

You could start baking following me. Even if you bake 5 baits, you would still have 5 skunkupines left in your inventory, so IF there is a way to get them counted, you would be still fine.

My skunkupies counted, as that bit was ticked when I started. Hoping Ivy's hut will continue to drop them, even now I am done with these goals?! I ended up getting two ambers out of seven adventures, which I think was very lucky.

Has anyone finished this entire quest and what can s/he tell us about what this does to dire boars appearing? Are they gone forever, like the glimmer trolls? Or will we still get them?

I am short on tusks and don't want to proceed until I know I can still get tusks. I've only got 35 on hand and 60 clubs and horns. I want to fill up if we're losing the option for fighting boars and can only get tusks through the adventure.

Since the update, between my 2 accounts, I've done 7 belladonna trades and gotten 1 pie. 12 Ivy collections and 1 pie. Both pies came on my account that already had enough pies to do the bait. I need 3 on the other account. I'm guessing this could take weeks or even months.

I feel for you guys that aren't getting credit for pies in your inventory or already used to make bait. That would have made me crazy!

And speaking of crazy, props to you hoarders! Lol. I passed on making extras this time around. Many of the required items are very tedious to replace. Of course, we will be back to maxing out on them soon enough, I'm sure.

1. Those who are short on bacon and opt to buy the black piggy for $12,000 coins, be aware that they take 12 feedings to grow into an adult. TWELVE!! If you are on them every hour they're ready to be fed, it takes 12 HOURS for them to be adults and *then* another 2 hours before you get your first little piece of bacon, lol.
I bought 7 and thought they would NEVER grow up. I don't remember my pink piggies taking that long to mature. Good grief.

2. I started with 11 skunkupies. Boy, am I glad I had the exact amount needed for 2 boarinas and a souvenir boar-bait because NONE are dropping for me from Ivy's Hut or either one of the Bella Donna trades. .... Don't ever mess with drop rates, TL? Really? LOL!

Ps. "Send Bella Donna Plants" trade really needs to be re-evaluated. I just got 2 rat tails & an inscription + trade ticket. That's IT! LOLOL

After playing for more than a year, I got my first Skunku-Pie a month ago. After that, they began to drop very often, from both Belladonna trades and from Ivy's Hut... I had 14 Skunku-Pies when this event started... Now, the drops of Skunku-Pie are non existent again (yes, I've sped some up for control, lol)...:confused:

I feel your pain. I got mine after 6 but have had that happen before on a different quest. I despise random drops because it then becomes like an ultra rare item for some players. Don't understand why it can't be a sure thing after a certain point...like 5 maybe & then the adventure disappears if that's all you need. You can do that TL!

I placed them, love them even if deco.
I thought if I crafted the boarinas straight up and didn't bother with waiting for skunkupies, (having only 1 and not getting any during trades or hut yet) the goal would pass.
But no! Goal is still there in book. Still have to wait for the pies and make baits to close quest, or gem it. (Not going to gem it)
Guess I have more work to do lol! And I am feelin it will be a long time kinda work. Which is fine, have nothing else to do.

A month or so ago when players were reporting skunkupies dropping from Ivy's Hut, I got a total of 1 since then. I fear this step is to really slow people down, like a dead stop because of a huge barricade in the road. I'm there since I only have 4 but at least I only need 1 more as compared to others with only 1 or 2. Stupid random drop thing strikes again, ugh!!!

force close your game first and then the Greenhouse to see if she is still sitting there ready to be placed again. Alternatively, check your inventory in case she went there instead. Maybe she is hiding behind something? if all else fails, you'll need to email support to check your game. It should just be back in your greenhouse though if unplaced. good luck! let us know how you get on.

Forced closed the game and re-installed it, but nothing changes.

I'm in the same situation - I had several skunkupies (I think about 7 or so) already in inventory from before this goal started, so used those to make boar bait, but they didn't count towards the "get some skunkupies" part of the goal - and I've had none drop since (I've tried Ivy's hut several times and done both Belladona trades over the past few days since reaching this step, to no avail).

Really frustrating to hear that this part autocompleted with existing skunkupies for other players but not everyone - that makes no sense!

I reported this with pictures in the bug thread so you can delete this if you want but no matter how you rotate a moat piece, it will not align with both corner pieces if the corner pieces are rotated in opposite directions. In other words, you can only make a "boaring" square/rectangle and not a "serpentine" moat and have it align correctly.

Same issue for me ..... Started the quest and went to Ivy ' hut but that has NOT COUNTED and nor have any of the skunk pies. Really frustrated with this, as it's an obvious massive glitch with so many other players having the same issue.

Surely it should count however many you already have after visiting g Ivy. I know I visited FOR the quest started and it's refused to could title, likewise the pies I got weren't there before I had them drop

I don't know how many adventures I've done but it has to be at least a dozen! Not a single piece of amber, and I was planning to get TWO. I'll be here forever. It's hard enough getting 20 mermaid scales for each potion. The drop rate on them has seriously dropped! Done a couple Belladonna trades to help but it's also draining.
