purchased the fortune teller to complete the quests....Completed 3 of the quests but did not get any rewards.....wasted 250 gems.....so so very sad

Here you can read what you can get from the fortunes.

Especialy fortune 5, 23, 25 and 29 are special: they give unlimited fruit, glimmer fragments and glimmer shards, seeds and super glue, if you read the hub, you know how to do it. I couldn't have finished the Sister Sister-goal without fortune 25. And now fortune 29 is helping me to get 99 magic cement...

So yes, the Fortune Tellers Tent is extremely usefull, IF you use it correctly...

You get the reward at the time of collection. The pop up window just tells you that you've completed the fortune.
Watch when you tap and see what drops.
