Maybe I'm the only one, but I find it INCREDIBLY ironic, not only the difference in tile and wallpaper requirements from RS this update, but in previous BS updates. I don't remember seeing this few tiles required in quite some time, and this is the first time I've had to use more than my short wall for wallpaper since I got past, I think, the second expansion. And it seems the RS tile and wallpaper requirements are in line with what they normally are - 12 wallpaper, and 14 tiles.

you could always throw away just one, so that you can buy a new oven and send out requests (if you haven't already accepted so many gifts that you can already build that first oven). then when the RVC is done, you'll be able to build all the ovens immediately!

I forgot about the goal start time like a genius and had just made something on a stove. I just put it in storage anyway so I could build the new ovens and not have to wait.

It's actually a series of goals so you have to finish goal #1 first in order to move on to goal #2. :)

As long as the box is on the floor you can take your time building it later. By the 2nd recipe of the first appliance I'm usually ready to collect the next appliance parts so you could go back to building those for a day unless you bought 18 and have no slots left to build the new ovens.

I wasn't around immediately after reset today so my request slots got filled from yesterday's request too. :( They could've just released the goal for the 3rd recipe simultaneously with this one like they have done in the past. i've done that before, even with a "prepare" step. started cooking before i got the goal, finished the blocking goal in the meantime, and then served my dishes so that they counted toward the goal. you finish serving before preparing, but preparing only takes 2 seconds, so it's still helpful. also, if you accidentally forget to serve once and your dish spoils, you're still not too far behind.

I notice that almost all the task machine parts now will include a new parts that need NEIGBHOURS request. We need to ask our neighbours to answer our requests in order to build the machine.
INACTIVE PLAYERS WILL SURELY FACE PROBLEMS WHEN COME TO ASK REQUEST PARTS FROM NEIGBHOURS.

You probably receved maximum numbers of reqested parts ,so you will have to wait until restart.and send back all over again requested parts to your neighburs who you know that will respond as fast as possible(very active one). to get other oven collect parts that's are needed to build thru gifts,so you can bulid them fast. because after you collect blankets and tapes you will need to finish bacon donuts,we need to serve and prepare 18 of 6 hrs dish.

this is also the point of location of yr neighbors...

first point is of course max 20 helps per day.

for example, u have 60 nbrs.

goals start, and u send a request for new part to everybody. to all 60.

some of them r active, some - not... anyhow, this day u get only 20 helps for this part. 20 guys answered yr request first. other 40 guys won't get it this day.
(plus of course u'll get upto 20 these parts as a gift).

the point is... if over reset u r not asking anything other, another 20 of those 40 guys will get yr y'day request for parts.
and some of them will answer it.

so by the end of the day, when u ask everyone for smth else - there r actually too small qtty of people getting it, coz most of them already answered yr previous day request.

the strategy is, for example:
- when u request first parts - try to note, who answred it first.
... then u can be sure that next day exactly these people will get yr next request (and not the old one).

and about location now:

it's a bit easier to get wht u need when u know whr yr nbrs live.

for example, my time is GMT+2 (PST +10).

if i ask smth in the morning, i'm asking it from my european friends (while american ones r sleeping).
and if i come to the goal needed help by my evening, i'm asking for this help from my american friends (who r just starting their day by this moment).

I had the same experience. Bacon donuts count only after you've collected all tapes/blankets from nbrs.

I've finished the bacon donuts goal and now working on the second oven but I didn't have this kind of glitch. I did start cooking the first batch ahead, even before I finished the tapes request part and only served them when I got the bacon donut goal and it still counted towards the 'servings' required. Of course I had to 'prepare' more after the last batch of servings needed to fill up the missing numbers.

I was baking the bacon donuts and then the goal disappeared. When it came back the donuts I made didn't count. The worst part about it is the donuts take 6 hrs. I finished the goal but have so many more donuts and wasted time.

did u read the main post in this topic?

u have to check yr goals book (top left of the screen, right under your coins statement) - there sd be timed goal which states now 26 days.
the name of the goal sd be one of 8 listed in the main post here.

you have to complete the task stated in goal marked (26days) - to move on, to the next goal.
step by step, you'll get where u need.
plse check the main post to see wht u'll have to do.

There have been a lot of glitches with this goal. Hopefully they can fix them in time. I got a message back saying that they would extend the goal time if I had anymore problems

Ok, I am 4 Funky Tacos away from getting last goal.
However I now own 2 Happy Birthday Banners, neither of
which show as I have purchased them as part of Funky Taco Goal.

this is not a problem :) this is the way all goals go.
as it stated in main post, "bought previously doesn't count".
it works for banners, hazel's boxes, wallpapers and tiles in this goals.

when the goal requires "HAVE smth" - it will count if u bought it before.
when it states "BUY smth" - u will have to buy it again.

Actually I had previously purchased one. I purchased the next one when
goal game up. Because I did want one more. However to finally finish that
goal of Funky Tacos, I ended up with 3 banners.
So in the end I purchased one prior, & two to finish goal.

I finished the first three recepies of the frier and then they tell me that the goal have expired! And didnt give me any prices The bike didnt unlocked and send me direct to the second goal! Fix this glicht please!

IMO, some goals are just not worth all the trouble,time or coins put out. This is one such goal. I am going to finish making the Bacon donuts(yuck!) and then I'm not doing the Texas Oven. Tacos in a Bakery (again,yuck..) and no real payoff for all that time wasted making the same thing over and over? No thanks. (I will probably never make another Bacon donut ever again when done)
Glad I am not a stickler for goal oriented tasks. Most of the time you spend more than you make back when complete! Thats the only thing I don't like about BS and RS. I skip ALOT of goals for this reason. lol

I think the tacos sound pretty good...actually something I would look into really making. As far as making the same things over and over, I am doing that anyway due to high food counts and lack of counter space. And I belive Vantacu does a spreadsheet showing the profit of doing the goals....and mastering each goal recipe earns you 12 gems total. The final prize alone is often worth 75-100K coins. While I may not like the decor offered in goals, I do like having the option ofhaving access down the road. I redecorate often...totally changing themes, so in 3 months, a year...whenever... I may say....hey, that item works.

I reported it to Support, now i received an email that they have credited one (1) Surprise Party decor to my account. Yes, it's there now in my storage. Thanks much Pepper for your info. :)
