Moving food to counter

How can you choose which counter to serve the food? At the moment food goes to any empty counter even when another counter already has the same food eg a counter has bagels but instead of serving to same counter bagels appear on another counter.

As you make new other foods, the game will take the "same" recipes and move them to the other counter that already has some on there. If you want to introduce new food without doing this first, don't put an empty counter out there until you have plated up your cooked food.

Yes, I found that out. Just annoying especially when you come back & all counters are empty. It means trips to storage as food cooks.
