Wow Black Pearl is beautiful! I will be happy with any dragon on this wheel though all of them are fantastic. Last wheel I got the Marshmallow dragon which is the first time I got what I wanted from the wheel after a 7 wheel losing streak. Can we please remove the timer from the spin wheel, and just have it re-new every day. I always miss out on a spin because of timing, usually by an hour or two. What purpose does the timer really serve? This isn't like a tournament, where is a genuine "deadline." It's just 7 days of spin.

Issue with this system is that getting that one extra spin depends on when you log in after the update. Some people are busy around that moment or are simply sleeping

Got Dawntree on the 2nd spin! I really like him so I'm happy. I really hope to get Black Pearl. Maybe one day TL can update the crafting store thing and we can get new gemstone dragons to craft. 1 hour and 50 minutes earlier than the day before. Since the timer is a S8 "day" it resets for 22 hours rather than 24. So if you collect at the 22 hour mark, rather than the 1 day mark, you can slowly back up the time over the 7 days it is available. Gives you a much better chance of collecting all your spins.

I knew this dragon is new and all, some of my neighbors also really like it but for me it kinda like "want it and don't want it". If I start at the top and spin clockwise, dragging my finger all the way back around to the top, I'm almost guaranteed maps. Today, I spun counter clockwise from the top to what would be the "5:00" position and got apples.

If you charge 30 gold for an extra spin, why make us feel unhappy when we get maps? It makes me want to spend less. If I knew I had ZERO chance of getting maps, I would spin more often. The wheel should be a positive experience for all. Why put something on there that we have repeatedly told you makes us feel bad? Even if I get coins or a small amount of food, I feel like I got something useful. If I get maps, I feel like I got ripped off.

I know this is off topic, but in the vein of talking about things regarding the game that piss one off. In the Quest Outpost for gold, my dragon came back with 10 gold, the game immediately reset in the middle of the day, and the dragon now returned from the gold quest with coins, I was pissed too. The other thing that really ticks me off is how the game asks me to confirm the sale of a 10 cent fire dragon, but yet takes gold without so much as a "confirmation". At different occasions, while collecting coins from my habitats, one of my habitats was too close to the food icon at the top and before I realized it I accidentally spent 100 gold for food. Then at a later time again while collecting coins from habitats AGAIN, I got too close to an ongoing expansion, and accidentally sped up expansion and the game took 312 gold from me. So, as I was saving up my gold to get something from the market for 500 gold, and now I have less than 100 because the game took 400+ gold from me, but thank heavens it asks me to confirm the sale of that 10 cent fire dragon. What moron stores gold out in the open and not in a safe. The gold should be in a safe that you have to extract to use, not just sitting at the top for accidentally spending. 99% of all my gold spent has been in error. So, I don't purchase gold anymore. What they don't realize is that if they would put the gold in a safe so it cant be accidentally spent, more people would buy it because they wouldn't feel *****ed, but putting it where it is so the game can accidentally take it is sneaky, and this is the reason I don't purchase gold anymore. I bet everyone has accidentally lost gold in some stupid way.

ANYWAY, I never have had luck with the spinning wheel. Last spinning wheel I got nothing but food, maps, and coins on all 7 spins. But, this time I got Black Pearl, Dawntree, and Poetry. Huh, maybe it was penance for the 400 gold the game took from me the week before. I never spend gold for extra spins, I save my gold for accidental spending.

I bought some extra spins today. I have a rule to spend money in this game once a week only, so I was waiting to see what yesterday's bundle offer was. It wasn't anything I was interested in, so I bought gold instead. It went towards a week of the extra breeding den and towards spins. I bought 4 extra spins today (so had 5 with my free one) and my results were:

... Black Pearl!

This was exactly the dragon I was hoping for! I think I'm already better off than if I had bought the bundle.

Now with just under 300 gold left, do I buy some extra spins every day, or do I wait till I get to 300 (2-3 days of gifting), hope not to lose it in a trap and buy a Bluebell?

Got dawntree today....a welcome change from maps and low level food....still very much hoping for starry night.

I have so many dragons in storage that I am never able to hatch, but I would still like the dragons from this spin. The last spin for me was much luckier.

Whatdya know... Got hammerhead on both accounts at 4th spin. The spins were done seconds away. A preset in the system based on a certain minute?

I have tested this. The wheel works off of random dice rolls and not from timestamps, although both would theoretically work. The wheel actually pulls the spin result from Storm8's server so what COULD happen is that they have a list of results that goes in order of what number spin you are. (I.e. The 12057385th spin is maps but the 12057386th spin is a Poetry dragon) I personally would have gone with a dice roll localized on each device, but I am definitely sure that this does not happen.

Feel sorry to hear, but this month I lost three time with gold trap an lost abt 160 golds. Feel very upset an sad. An spin gave me Dawntree which I have already an two Hammerheads. So I wish I could exchange one of them an Dawntree for golds which I save for Tournament :(

Got a black pearl, but would have preferred the hammerhead... although I did get him on my baby account. Doing much better on this spin to win, than the previous one, so can't complain :) Then again, I stopped hatching eggs in storage a long time ago due to performance issues, so he'll have to stay there for a while. Even the recent performance boost they made in the latest version didn't last very long before its straight to slow down again.

How you spin it plays no role in the results of your spin. Each spin has a preset outcome from the moment it begins spinning, so don't beat yourself up if you have a "bad" spin. :)

Thanks for the reply. I've been getting nothing but bad spins :( so I guess my wheel just doesn't like me. Oh well, I haven't spent any gold on it so I guess nothing lost.
