There is a chance that the Mamaroo could be a tournament prize. Based on the previous timing, we are due for a 12 round mini-tournament on May 8. Otherwise, we would get a new 30 round tournament on May 12 that would end at the same time the Spring Forward event ends.

However, the last regular animal to breed was released on April 24 (Flyerfox), so it would be two weeks since we got a regular animal to breed. There has been 2 occasions when TL released a new animal on the same day as a 12 round tournament but it is not the normal case.

I am hoping it will be a tournament prize, I would hate to go back to breeding Earth/Fire and there are 15 of those animals already.

It is indeed a Kangaroo, but this animal name is Mamaroo, when TL releases sneak peeks, the name of the animal is always in the descritption.

If it would be in a forest, the forest would be the Stormie's Forest, but TL releases a bunch of sneak peeks and it's only images, so probably, since TL needs to create the design of the animals and they already have the design of every building and every island ground, they just put everything together and it looks like a screenshot from a forest.

I'm really hoping it's a prize rather than a breedable animal, because it's sure to be limited. I'm still frantically trying for the space trio and I'd hate to have to pick one or the other to focus on!

I doubt it would be a tournament prize as they have never revealed that beforehand have they? I'm gonna venture a guess that it is a new permanent animal as Tesllama was as it was teased in this same way with similar image. I don't think they would do a limited that interfered with the space trio right now.

I'm indifferent to this animal, I could take it or leave it.

I would prefer it to be breedable, as I'm still trying for the Aperil Fool and could try for them together. If it's breedable, I do hope it's not a one-week limited as that would be extremely unfair to those still trying for the space animals. I doubt they would do that, though. As much as they like to anger players, it's usually more subtle than two animals with only a few days to try for at the same time.

I would agree that it's probably a flash tournament prize. They seem to like to reveal flash tournament prizes a few days ahead of time. If it is, I'm not sure whether I'll be participating in the tournament or not. My last experiences with flash tournaments have left me pretty much convinced that I can't win them without spending pretty significant gems.... that's on top of the huge time commitment they require as well. Friday evening and all day Saturday, from waking up until I'm about to pass out, is just too much to ask for. Especially since they've now made it so that the flash tournaments likely aren't winnable for free even if you DO put in all that time. Now, I'll have to really love the animal to play in a flash tournament again, and I don't.

So I'll most likely choose to pass if it's a flash tournament prize. That would make it the third tournament in a row that I've chosen to pass on. Great job, TL. I haven't quit the game but I've all but quit tournaments. How about you make them winnable for free again like they used to be?

Oh my, this animal is adorable! I'm really hoping its breedable and not a tourney animal, I've no success with tournaments. Still trying for Catsun at the moment so I also hope this animal isn't limited and I'll have time to actually try for it.

I think it's a cutie too. I feel like being a flash-tournament animal might be a high possibility since it's Mother's Day weekend (here in North America) and "Mamaroo" seems like an appropriate prize. :)

Slippopotamus, Growvine and Rumblebee sneak peeks were released in TL blog after the update day.

Before the update day:
Great Danebow was a limited breedable animal and was in TL forest as a sneak peek for the players who visited the Stormie's Forest.
Lunar Goat and Land Shark were exclusive sneak peeks from TL forest.
Yule Mule and Psyena were sneak peeks from TL blog.

Good grief... they DID make this a limited animal.

But before everyone gets super angry, they actually gave us 10 days on it rather than the usual 7. So, it's not much different than if they'd waited until Tuesday to release it, at the same time the space animals were removed. So, all that's happened here is that they've given those of us that already have all three space animals a head start on this new one. Fair? Nope. But no one is getting less time on this than the USUAL limited animals. It's usually 7 days and this one is 10 instead.

All that being said, meh, who cares, yet another limited animal that we all have a very slim chance of getting. I'm glad it's breedable because I've been breeding earth-fire anyway to get my Aperil Fool, so this is perfect. But I do wish it wasn't limited. Not so much because I care but because I know how upset this will make others.

Bad timing on this for me. I won't have much time tonight for the Flash Tournament and they made the Mamaroon a limited animal and my breeding den/Nest are occupied for the next three days. At least they gave us 10 days for this one.

After too many tries to count, finally got the Mamaroo :3 My pairing was Unicorn x Skeletal Dragon (it seems to give me what I need when all other breed possibilities aren't working out... next time I'll just go straight to that one when Earth-Fire is required.. x.x)

In my forest it seems armordillo is the only possible outcome from fire x earth. It gets so boring seeing 11:59:59 over and over and over. I have all the other fire/earth animals except the Aperil fool but I'd still like to see a variety in my breeding, even if it's the ones I have :(

Earth-fire is the worst combo historically for me, considering I did NOT get a SINGLE Valentine creature out of it, so I'm a bit worried for this one, too... (Aperil fool obviously also missing in my forest :p )

Originally I was dreading all the armordillo fails but it looks like the game decided to change things up and give me only volcamel fails instead this time. All these 14 hour fails are making me miss the 12 hour ones. :p

I was trying to breed my super-rare earth/fire combos to get Marmaroo...thinking that I would have a better chance at getting it. After 10 failures, went back to the basics and bred Pyro and Phino..got it on the first try! Couldn't believe my eyes! Weird how things work out!

No Mamaroo yet but countless Armodillos. Though I did get a 17 hour breed fail which was a plus. I was extremely lucky being able to breed all 3 cosmic critters so if I dont get the Mamaroo I wont be disappointed. Does anyone know how long the Mamaroo will be available for?

Once it gets to less than a day the hourly timer will show.

Constant breeding of fire and earth, 2x per day, since it came out = 1 Volcamel, 2 Rampages, and three thousand Armordillos :(
Not even an Aperil Fool just to make it less bitter.
As I said before, fire+earth really is NOT my lucky combo (not a single Valentine creature either)
