Same here, made a formal complaint about the Android issue, now i have sombreros etc in my gift list too, and i even receive the stuff without being able to build the appliances; they are not even locked anymore but disappeared from my appliance list. A lot of my neighbors do have the puebla stuff but not me and a bunch of others. TL should fix this soon, it's not fair !

It's not an android issue. The appliances were removed from everybody's games.

My neighbors are gifting me these parts and I am accepting them hoping the old appliances will return. When I first logged in I had a goal clipboard but it said 0 goals, now the clipboard is gone again. Maybe Storm 8 will make these old Cinco de Mayo items available with today's update or maybe they are just recycling parts to be used for new Cinco de Mayo appliances. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
Also got another (3rd) standard response to my email about the old appliances today.

they have been re-released BUT its ALL for GEMS now!
sorry but NO WAY S8........ it was for coins and should be for coins later. I will NOT support such a business concept.
