Why can't I sell my extra floors/walls?

Presumably because if you sold a floor or wall it would have to substitute something else in its place as you can't have a blank wall/floor. Other items don't have this issue.

I don't find it a big deal to keep stuff in storage anyway except when I HAD to purchase something to complete the vday tasks. The money you get back from selling is a tiny tiny fraction of purchase price.
