not sure how you are doing it. other than logging in every single hour and winning every single tournament for extra pops.
I should hit 1400 overnight, i'm in EU so just midnight now.
How many pops has the chocolate waterfall been giving. That seems to be the only thing I'm missing.. only have 4 big farms too, but probably getting 18 from each individual farm a day doing it hour by hour.
I'm sure i'll be okay for next dragon but so worried we won't reach the final community one.
I wont be so disappointed to miss the final individual but really want the pink cotton candy one.
This is my first event so very exciting.
(I'm on level 50, with 57 dragons so far)
The chocolate waterfall was the builging that give 4 items after 4hrs in the last World Event, on this event the building that gives 4 items every 4hrs is the Lollipop Patch and it can be found in the all tab from storage.
Don't have nests free, I recommend to plant 20hrs and then 5hrs in the farm so you can collect at least 23 items per farm per day, battle as much as you can, and check the quest outpost so your Air dragon is always searching for 4 items :)

As i will go to bed now, I'm on 2105 pops. Pretty sure that with the next batch of scallypears, I will obtain the Lollypop dragon ;)

I'm a long-term player, and I have 3 nests, which I keep occupied 24/7 during events (water dragons, or, if it fits better regarding timing, air, light or even the 300,000 coins olympus-dragon). Even more: I always keep them occupied (mostly with fails), so that, when the even starts, I can take them of the nest and get a kickstart.
This gives me 24 x 3 x (now almost 10 days in the event) = 720 pops. I had 3 long-term dragons on the nests, that I sold the moment the event started, giving me another 2 x 18 = 54 extra.
Furthermore, my boyfriend plays for me when he wakes up, and I'm still asleep: planting extra food, so I do get the 24 hour x 7 farms x 10 days = 1680 pops.
Also, he collects from the pop-giving item, plus sends out another adventure, 4 x 2 x 10 days = 80 extra pops which I wouldn't have if he wouldn't check in on my game in the morning.
Winning tournaments doesn't give you that much: a maximum of 16 a day, that is, if you play every waking hour, and win... Usually I win just 5-8 rounds a day.
All this enables me to get the last dragon this quick, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the fastes one?
And yes, sometimes I'm sloppy, or too ill to play (monday and tuesday I didn't play at all, due to migraines). Overall, extra nests give you a HUGE benefit in these world-events.
Ow, and BIG tip for the low level players: for all 7 farms always use the 20-hour crops during these events. That alone gives you +/- 90% of the needed pops...

In order for us to get the final community dragon, only 113, 637 people in the whole world need to get the 2, 200 pops for the individual prize. Seeing it that way, there is no way we should not get it. That is not a lot, are they not counting Android? Or are there really not that many people playing this game in the whole world?

I also got Lollipop dragon :) . This is my second rainbow type dragon after Rainbow Sentinel. I still don't have Rainbow dragon.
Community Total is at 10%. I hope we can make it to get Cotton Candy Dragon (5 days left).

It is only available for players over level 17 or 20 ( I'll have to double check on that ) if you've just reached those levels, that's probablywhy the event arrived late for you.

I got the Candy Tree Apple when the community had the amount needed to receive it and my decor is in the decor tab from my storage, do you have 450 lollipops or more? If yes and didn't receive the decor, send an email to TL, if not, you need to collect 450 lollipops in order to unlock and get the community prizes.

I think lollipop should be a very helpful one. Being a tricolour with rainbow should make it a useful sidekick.

This is my first dragon story community event, but if the code is the same as Castle Story (and it appears to be) then the community counter is actually just an algorithm and we should get the last prize one minute before the event ends.

I for one am disappointed in the fact that it impossible for someone at level 27 cannot win the lollipop. I have six farms going nonstop and am breeding nonstop, doing everything I can. Can't do tournaments...whatever they are, I assume that everyone getting the lollipop is level 30 or higher? Going to finish 200 short and don't have any motivation to continue.

I don't think the battle arena makes such a huge difference. During the tournament it gave 2 lollipops per fight, after that one only. Seen that I have the lollipop since couple of days, that should not make or break it.
I kept my crops on 5 or 8 hour harvests. I have 7 farms, but even with 6 farms it should bring you 30 lollipop or 48 for the 8 hour ones per harvest. Per day you could get more then 100 just by farming pumpkinwings and elite leeks. also collecting from that lollipop thing and quest adds up.
What sped it up is probably more having a second nest and the chocolate fountain. I bought several water dragon eggs for the second nest and sold the hatchlings afterwards.
i do agree that it's easier for higher levels. You just have more income how more dragons you have and can do that stuff without a second thought. Wishing you good luck and crossing fingers

Well I have done all that you have with the exception that I don't have a second nest or a waterfall. Don't have the gold for those, they wouldve made a difference. So basically, you can't complete this unless you pour money into the game. Sounds familiar.
Nope, I NEVER have put any money in wining a World Event, nor have I ever put gold in winning a World Event.
* Make sure you have 7 farms and plant 20-hour crops daily. If you can, also plant 4 1-hour crops daily. Per farm that is.
* Make sure your nest is never empty, and lift the dragon of the nest as soon as it is finished. If you must (because time-wise it's better to buy a dragon than to put the one you bred on the nest), buy water or air dragons (for players with high income of coins, you can also buy light or even olympus dragons, this gives you a greater variation in durations).
* log in as often as possible to sent out adventures and collect from the first prize.
Reward:
* Farms: 7 farms x 20-hour crops x 14 days = 1960 pops
* Nest: 1 nest x 20 hours nesting time x 14 days = 280 pops
* adventures: 3 (times a day) x 4 pops x 14 days = 168 pops
* item: 3 (times a day) x 4 pops x 10 days = 120 pops
This is the bare minimum and gives you 2,276 pops easily. More than enough to get the Lollipop. And in this event it's even more easy, because TL has given us more time than those 14 days. And the arena gives you also pops.
Even with 1 nest it's quite easily possible to get far, and far more than that bare minimum. It just takes an investment of time.
Farms: 7 x 24 x 14 = 2,352 + the 20-hour you had ready before the World Event started: 7 x 20 = 140 (which also gives you the first item the moment the Event starts), together 2,492 pops
Nest: 1 x 24 x 14 = 336
Adventure (3 hours): 6 x 4 x 14 = 336
Item (4 hours): 5 x 4 x 14 = 280
Arena: 1 tournament, finished in 5 days: 30 x 2 = 60, no tournament, 14 - 5 days x 7 wins a day = 63, together 123
Altogether you can make 2,492 + 336 + 336 + 280 + 123 = 3,567 without spending any gold EVER, not even on a second nest. I know, no one is as crazy as that to play 14 days 16 hours a day, but you don't need 3,567 pops, you only need 2,200. And that is relatively easy to make.
Yes, if you can't log in often enough, or don't have the coin-income buy the 20-hour crops, yes, then you won't make it. But let's be real: why should you be rewarded for not investing time, effort, nor money? Tell me about 1 good and fun game that lets you win all the high level prizes while you're still a beginner?
I'm no fan of TeamLava's business-model, but the World Events is, imo, one of the few honest events, that gives everybody an equal chance.

So you are getting the second dragon, that's better than I did. My first World Event, I barely earned the first personal dragon and was happy to collect the two community dragons. I would liked to have earned the other two personal dragons, but it didn't happen. I did figure out the key was upgrading my farms (eventually all 7) so I could collect the 20 hour crops. Plus 3-4 collection a day from the decoration. Figuring out how to keep one nest fully occupied is a challenge. By my second World Event, I was able to participate in the Arena and did get all 5 dragons.

I don't agree with you here. Anaboe nicely counted it out. The fact that I have a second nest and the chocolate fountain enabled me to reach the lollipop dragon FASTER.
Secondly...I don't pour money in the game. These games are something I enjoy, and I don't see anything wrong with buying things every now and then that I want to have. Just like I purchase a cup of coffee when I'm out and about, or any other things I do enjoy. :)

What happened? Fifteen mins before this event was supposed to end I had an egg ready to hatch and crops to harvest....went back and no event...so I wasn't able to get the lollipop dragon....totally unfair!

Did you check your storage? Maybe your lollipop dragon is there? If not, you should write to customer service.

I will but even with the final crops and egg, I would have had to use about 35 gold to get it
I've earned the forth individual prize a few days ago, but no chance to get the fifth. Nevertheless, I continued playind and gathering pops at my pace. Today, I entered the game right after the event has ended and I've got a message saying that I've earned a Cotton Candy dragon as a community prize and that it was in my storage. But now there is no dragon in there. Was it nessesary to check it out in my storage before the event has ended? But I've received that message even after the end, I believed it was true! So actually there'll be no third community prize for me?

You didn't have to do anything special. The Cotton Candy should be in your storage, since the community earned it. Have you tried restarting the game?
I can see mine in my storage. I was really happy to get all the dragons, but I decided to hatch and display only one of them, the Lollipop, because of the horror stories I've been reading in the "Need more habitats" thread. Would hate to run out of space so planning ahead.

Good job everyone. Looks like we needed that extra 12 hours for some reason. Most likely not as many people playing any more since TL will not upgrade the game for those long term players who need updates to be able to function. Lack of land space and habitat limits will be the death of this game. Low level players don't realize this but they will once they have been playing for a year or so

TeamLava has the bad habit to let these events finish before the timer is over. I always take a few hours spare-time, so I don't depend on the last minute.
In every event there's always someone that steps in that trap... I'm sorry it happened to you. You could try to mail support@teamlave.com, to see if they can do something for you.

I started leasing al eggs unhatched since the second world event, just to prevent running out of space/habitats. I only hatch the dragons that are extremely good in the arena.

We should not have to play this way. TL customer support is horrible and their business model is not far behind that.

Of cause I tried to restart the game, and now I have just tried to restart the device. I wish I'd have checked my storage immediately after receiving the message, to know for sure if Cotton Candy was there. But I didn't, and the next time I started the game, it was gone. And I don't know if it ever has been there!

Thank you....I actually have emailed them about this...Seems the timer is running for a purpose so we know specifically when the event ends....down to the second.
Not wanting to spoil any thing for anyone else....a hearty congrats to everyone that earned all they wanted!
