Spring Blossom Event - 4/23/15 - iOS Only

Since this is a low level account, based on the explanation I gave earlier (and my own experience with two of these) you should be able to boost your tree up to level 7-8 in a day or two of newspaper scouring. That should give you a few blossoms from goals and set you up to reap a decent number from the tree. You probably won't be able to get Bambi, but if you're dedicated enough to collect every 3 hours from the tree, and using your flax sales money to buy floating lanterns, then you should be able to get the first and second individual prize, and qualify for the community prizes. It will be hard work for a day or two, but I think you can get some prizes and this event does have very nice prizes even for the early ones (bonsai sakura is so easy to get but so cute! and the community prize pond is gorgeous and animated)

If you're willing to spend gems on paper lanterns, you obviously will get further. More and more people are completing their trees and putting parts out so it may even be possible to upgrade your blossom tree to a high level. Although the benefits are diminishing with the time left, it does make for a very nice looking decoration. :)

I was super excited to get the deer! I actually reorganized my entire farm over the weekend after getting it late last week. I decided to make a special habitat for it. What do you think? I didn't care for the Fawn Meadow much so I tried to obscure it with the trees.

A completed blossom tree will get you 60 blossoms every 3 hours.

Dont give up!
you need 4,200 blossoms, less the 3082 you already have = 1,118 to go.
You have level 13 tree soooo you collect 52 blossoms each time....
1,118 / 52 = 21.5
If you can pull off 22 collections in the next 4 days 11 hours Bambi's coming home to you !
Maybe free up your weekend lol, put up a "do not disturb" set your alarm and bring your baby home :)

Paper Lanterns (35 gems) and Floating Lanterns (2500 coins) are tools that will get you blossom tree parts, coins, or other prizes. The colored lanterns (I believe there are six colors, I have yellow) are decorations and are prizes from the Paper Lantern.

I love my tree too, the falling blossoms make it look so much better although if you zoom in the falling blossoms are outlined in green or red which is weird

20323I gave up on getting the tree past level 11 because of the drop rate for upgrade items and lack of them to buy, but that's okay because there's a deer walking around my farm now (except when snoozing--so cute!), and that was my goal! I went over 4200 this afternoon.

I'm still making deliveries and posting the few flowers, lily pads and stones that I get. And I'll keep collecting blossoms to help the community goal.

You can take it off the animals. Hit the wrench in the lower right to go to edit mode, then select an animal that has a custom skin on it. You will see several symbols such as storage, rotate, sell, and a paint can. Touch the paint can in order to change between skins for the animal. This also works on buildings as well, and I assume the blossom house paint will work in the same way.

I would also keep forgetting to play. So I worked hard to make all I could and sell it quickly but the long hours for sugars, collecting milk, making ice cream, vanilla and chocolate and the sauces to then make sundae and whatnot, didnt net me enough money. So i could make it up with the blossoms by buying lanterns.

Oh well, we win some and we lose some. Then they gave us extra days! I can only blame myself and wish I hadnt been so lax and stayed on top of it like I did the xmas event. I wont lose sleep over it, as I know another event will come, ill try my best and if we get another unique animal, that sucker will be mine!

Who knows, maybe he will show up in pipers treehouse one day. Which would be a world cheaper than 20 dollars for a game I dont play as much as I used to. Good luck to those still within reach and congrats to all who got Bambi!

I didn't specifically force close, but I do this regularly since I can only have one TL game running at decent speed on my struggling iPhone 4. I noticed that the tree was a decoration now and unlit lanterns could no longer be lit so I figured S8 had already made the changes to event items, but possibly forgot this one.

Great chance for anybody who missed out and for those poor Android folk who have been watching the fawn prancing around other people's farms.

For anyone thinking they can make a deer couple, I think the pet is limited to just one so you can't just buy another one out right :( I wonder why S8 wouldn't let you do this.

Great chance for anybody who missed out and for those poor Android folk who have been watching the fawn prancing around other people's farms.

For anyone thinking they can make a deer couple, I think the pet is limited to just one so you can't just buy another one out right :( I wonder why S8 wouldn't let you do this.

I just saw this a minute ago. Yall cant see me but im doing a happy dance. I got Bambi on one account and thanks to androids numerous game versions I have enough gems on two other account to buy her. AND on my main account where I didnt finish, Im still deciding if I want to purchase $20 worth of gems to get it. I know I said I hope it becomes available again, but geez, not this soon! Not when there are items on fashion I MUST have. To choose between this and the diner is a no brainer. Ive spent way too much money on that box to let it go.

This is so hard. BUT my other three farms will be super pretty with her prancing around! Thanks, TL!

My lanterns have turned into decorations. On a side note, can S8 leave them floating like they were? Now the so called floating lanterns are no longer floating.

I wish S8 gave this option to purchase fawn at the beginning of the event. At least then we could decide if to pay by effort or pay by gems. In this instance I would pay the gems to save the tons of effort I had given and gotten some sleep.

On second thoughts, S8 why don't you just put the pets on sale in market and forget about events? I mean it's the profit you want. Why make us put in effort for a pet that you intended to put on sale anyway? Why give us the illusion that we have to earn it by participating in the event? :confused::(

Anyways I'm very glad our fellow android farmers get a chance at the pet. :D

Forget the events if it's going to be like this.

Instead please give us more levels and expansions.
I'm sure I'm not the only long time level 60 player who is bored brainless when there are no events in place and now it seems even the events are pointless?!?!?
I really dont understand the logic behind the method. Obviously the bottom line is to make $$$$ so I would suggest allowing us to buy the pets outright, offer us more space and habitats to be able to place pets on farm, so we buy more.
Give us extra levels so we have something to aim for and want to log on more often. Inturn giving you more customers rather than swapping us out for new people who start playing, who aren't bored with nothing left to do.

I, personally, don't seem to have the option to buy the deer. I also did not manage to earn one - I just never got many parts no matter how many deliveries I sent. I also never saw many in the paper.

But on the bright side, all those deliveries helped me reach level 31 :)

Just wondering if the tree is going to stay scraggly looking like mine now or fill out over the season? I only upgraded to level 4 and now it has about 8 leaves on it. If it is going to stay like that I will delete it if possible.

During the Easter event, I bought the egg dyer & it took 36 collections to get a bunny. I never got close to the fawn, even after buying several lanterns & a few big lanterns. I was still 3000+ away from getting it. I hav deleted Farm Story 2 from my iPad. I hav enough frustrations in my life w/out a game that REQUIRES I spend money to earn the prizes. I feel much better now!

Unfortunately, if you have already activated your lanterns, they won't turn into decorations. However, any unlit lanterns should stay on your Farm for you to use as decorations.

I was able to get the fawn without spending any money. I collected from my tree five times a day, spent 5000 coins to get two lanterns each time I earned that much through deliveries and selling goods, and watching the newspaper (A LOT) to buy any parts that came along.

My lit lanterns changed to unlit ones, is there not a way to keep them lit as decorations, they look much better when theyre floating
Ive been careful not to click on them for days and now theyve gone back to normal :(

The paper lantern doesn't look so nice unlit. Same goes to the poor floating lanterns, it just seem so dead. I tapped on one of the floating lantern accidentally after the event is over, but ended up with some blossom. =.="

I wish there's a option to store them in the cellar instead. :(

Hi! My Spring Blossom changed from being full and dropping flowers to a partial grown without any flower petals dropping. I won the deer, but since then the tree reverted. Is there a way to "fix" it?

I only joined the game in June because of the birthday celebrations but though I am enjoying my journey I now realise there are so many items and pets I'll never be able to get. It is really disheartening. I see so many beautiful farms. I not sure if it's worth continuing to play. I wish the "standard" pets (like the different breeds of dogs/cats) were available all the time. Is there any hope for Ne? 😔

There are a number of pets that re always available--most require gems to be purchased, but a few can be purchased with coins. There is also the possibility of winning pets through Piper's Treehouse Game (if you are lucky and have enough gems to finish the game), and some of these are the pets from previous events (as well as totally new ones). Some old items may no longer be available, but that just means you'll have space for the new ones (whereas players who have been playing longer will be struggling to find space and/or decide what to display and what to put away).

Thanks for the encouragement. I read on one of the forums that some people have leftover items from previous events that they no longer want. I saw a "Trade" button but it doesn't look like it works (I tried it and lost my roses). I understand some items are for special events but when you come so late to the game you realise there is a lot that's gone I just thought with the pets that most peoe like to get the same breed they have in real life but only limited ones are offered. I just see the cute Labrador trotting around on some farms and think "if only". I'll just have to be patient. Hopefully they'll be offering some new ones soon. I just love the pets. Gem or coin payment. Again thanks. ��
