Lost 10 times already on level 30. This has been the hardest level! I don't want to spend 30 gold on an ultimate move but I guess I will if I still can't win by tonight. My last attempt I tried Radioactive 1 and lost. Maybe I'll try my Crusader next.

Air 1 worked for me, & it had also worked in the past, so maybe try it. Good luck!!

I finally finished the tournament! This one was HARD!!!!! I still have many dragons waiting in line to be healed...
I can't wait to hatch my new dragon :) I currently have a radioactive dragon on my nest...

So, are Rare Champions inferior compared to Super Rare ones? I have been wondering about this. Because every time I use the arena calculators, the Spirit Warrior gets the exact same odds to win a battle that my Super Rare Champions get.

To be completely honest with you, I don't actually know XD!
I just feel better using super rares over rares whether it's champs or normal dragons.
The better fighter always depends on level, rarity and element type but we don't know how much each factor really influences the power of the attack. Just like we don't really know if there's a difference between bash and Magic (I think there is)

Try Plasma, Amethyst, Parakeet. Those I used an won in Tournament an Arena.
An see the way you hit it to know which one is strong...

Someone who lost too many times an unreasonably, try to clear cache, restart everytime before you go in battles. I did that all Tournament or Arena. When I log in game, I jst go to battles right away before I collect coins, read wall, visit nbrs... Hope it helps...

I have done that and it never worked. Also reinstall the game and even turned off my iPhone. Just after my 15th try Angelfire finally went down and still put up a huge fight.

I think you mean a habitate ..... It a champion ground , but many congratulations on your first success , it's my third and this one was the most difficult ..... Just finished healing my decimated dragons after two days ;)

I think I won that one with Jade. I have been having a ridiculous amount of losses using ultra and super rares. I have had better luck fighting with the dominant color of the Opposing dragon's gemstone color found on the chart.

**** I have my level 4 infinity in the breeding den. I'm on fail 15 now. I'm going to try one or two more times and then I'm just going to ultimate it. I have been stuck on the last round since last night and it's annoying me now lol. I have tried every suggestion here. Hate how sometimes you just get stuck on certain rounds and there isn't anything you can do about it. At least it's the last round so I only have to use one ultimate. On one tourney, I forget which one now, it took me 32 attempts to win round 30. Luckily I had about 3 days to win it and it became a personal crusade not to use ultimate as I couldn't believe a non champion could cause me so much trouble. I always think it weird that the battles appear so random.

My creation is almost done breeding right now so I will give him a try next. If he loses I'm just going to use the ultimate after that. I'm running out of time and i don't feel like staying up all night trying. I have been stuck on round 30 for 24 hours now. I have so many dragons to heal and I'm so over this tournament lol. This was my first tournament and I wasn't sure what to expect. I kept reading questions like "Will there be a tournament this week? " and wondering whether I was going to like it if there was one. I was kind of afraid that maybe players are made to compete *against* each other when there's a "tournament". I probably wouldn't like it if that was the case. The way it is, players actually helping and advising each other, I've liked it a lot. :)

I was ready to use the Ultimate on the last round and my Fire just one-shot Spirit Warrior in my 1st attempt, giving me a surprise win. And I just used the Ultimate on Gold thinking that I won't be able to make in time. Guess my plan on using only 1 Ulti still stay intact :D

Ive been battling round 30 for almost 2 days but last night i decided to speed the arena and the game crashed....when i re-opened the game and to my surprise, spirit warrior is already in my inventory and put it immediately in the nest....the problem is i cant engage in regular battle and shows round 31 of 30.i uninstall and reinstalled the game but still its the same....what should i do guys?

Happened to me one of the recent tournies. Since S8 didn't help I waited till the tourney deadline ended and everything was restored to normal.

I finally got past Avenging. I fought 15 times or so before giving up and Ultimating him. Things went smoothly after that one-shotting and two-shotting 26-30. Thanks for the advice on Spirit Warrior. One-shot with Radioactive level 4.

Ive noticed that rd 20 and 25 is always the most difficult. Worth the Ultimating on those imo unless you have the time to battle day and night.

After about 20 tries, I finally beat round 30 with BrightSteel which consists of Metal and White. I really don't think there is any pattern for this one, just luck of the draw but you never know. It might help someone. Good luck.

I finally caved in and bought some gold at 30% off. Really hope I won't fall into any gem trap. Used up some gem to ultimate and skip some birthday event steps so need to stock up.
I really want to get this Spirit Warrior, mostly because of the wonderful blue color it has. My fave color, and at a perfect shade. Best color of any dragon out there.
One hour left and am waiting to fight Spirit Warrior. Will prob need to speed up the waiting time a bit.

I stayed away from the arena since transferring my android game to iPad a few months ago but the birthday goals dragged me in :p

Congratulations to all those that made it, and especially those who got their first Champion. Thanks to all who helped me on my 27 battles against Avenging - what a hilarious battle. Unfortunately it put me a little behind, so I didn't quite make it; got to round 28. Now I am employing extra staff in the Healing Spa, buying liniment in bulk, and giving my battered dragons the day off tomorrow to recover.

Huge thanks, Steven. On attempt 27, Avenging was taken out with Lovelight (7). Yay! 22 hours to nab the rest, get some sleep, and do a day's work. (It's Sunday night here). Thanks for all the great suggestions - it's been fun!

Already happened with me more than once, but I had time to repeat the same battle.
I didn't put the eggs in the nest, I leave it in my storage, but in case that the turnament ends after I won the tournament and the dragon that I won, disappears from my storage, I take screenshots every time I won a tournament, more specific, I take a screenshot from the last victory with the reward and from my dragons in storage, so if TL decides to steal a dragon from me, I have proofs that I had won it.

Could not get past level 20 after at least 10 failures and gave in with about 19 hours to go. I've still never won a tournament but relentlessly get all the other dragons no problem. Any advice for next time?

I would use Champion or Diamond type dragons and just try until you win, nothing much you can do

If it's any consolation, in the two days I've been testing my Spirit Warrior in the arena, she hasn't won once.

Thanks for the information, Cocauina. This is a very good idea to take screenshots of what we have won in case TL steals away the dragon. I should have taken a screenshot of the egg placed in the nest. What a big mistake ! I MUST bear this in mind. Thank you so much.

Oh please don't be sad for me! I think it's hilarious. I am just glad I didn't give in and spend gold. Besides, I have quite a few champions ;-). It's all just a bit of fun, and it's always good to see others get there - especially those getting their first champ!

Same my case so I spent my gold to hurt up battles to vein. Lesson learnt " never bother for a rare champ"

These champs with me jst for decorating. Spirit Warrior lost all battles I used it :-) GA an RS often win, better than it a bit lol... But they look nice so I can look at them for relaxing after battles lol..
