9Matripony (valentine with NO WEAKNESSES)Still unsure what they have changed this time. It used to be that electric > valentine > water. Then last tournament they made nothing strong to valentine. Then this one there are conflicting reports as to whether electric > valentine or not. Just... avoid water, and please post whatever attack you used, and whether it was strong, neutral or weak. If you **** it with one critical, that does not mean it was strong. It means you were very lucky whether your attack was strong or not.
ETA Wed. AM: Even though nature attack is neutral, a lot of folks are getting lucky using it, so it seems the best to try right now.
electric is only strong when it's our matripony vs. their electric element. When it's THEIR matripony, OUR electric is NOT strong. Try nature-a lot of people are having neutral attacks but lucky criticals with it.

9Matripony (valentine with NO WEAKNESSES)Still unsure what they have changed this time. It used to be that electric > valentine > water. Then last tournament they made nothing strong to valentine. Then this one there are conflicting reports as to whether electric > valentine or not. Just... avoid water, and please post whatever attack you used, and whether it was strong, neutral or weak. If you **** it with one critical, that does not mean it was strong. It means you were very lucky whether your attack was strong or not.
ETA Wed. AM: Even though nature attack is neutral, a lot of folks are getting lucky using it, so it seems the best to try right now.
electric is only strong when it's our matripony vs. their electric element. When it's THEIR matripony, OUR electric is NOT strong. Try nature-a lot of people are having neutral attacks but lucky criticals with it.

I decided to experiment. I tried Matripony against elephantum just to see if Valentine element changed and YES. THEY CHANGED VALENTINE ELEMENT AGAIN. It is WEAK to electric again.

Basically, when THEIR tournament animal was the Matripony, they changed the rules to make it weak to nothing. Then they changed it back again when that tournament was over. Currently sitting at 2 wins 4 losses after winning the second round. This is the second time that I started off a tournament with 4 losses in the first two rounds. In all other tournaments, I never hit my 4th loss before round 8. At least the last time I had 4 losses in the first two rounds, I won the tournament with only 24 losses. Something to look forward to.

It might have been a mistake, or perhaps they changed it back because of all of the complaints! I don't believe they're deliberately trying to mislead us on this (imo, makes no sense--business-wise.) They're already getting enough complaints in these forums without finding new ways to anger ppl...

If it had been a mistake, they would have fixed it before the tournament was over. The way they fixed the mistake that was actually in our favor (the prize of 2,000 shamrock coins for the Matripony level) before the tourney ended. If making Valentine element suddenly no longer weak to anything at all were a mistake, when they went into the tourney code and tinkered with that very same round in fact, they could easily have fixed that. They did not. Not until that tourney with it's weak-to-nothing Matripony on their side was over.

At the beginning of a tourney months ago, a strength mysteriously disappeared (I think their toying with us that time was making nature no longer strong to earth). That one they stopped screwing with us a few days into the tournament and fixed it. The matripony being weak to nothing however, despite them going on record that they went into the code and changed the accidental super reward for us in that very round, they did NOT change. Not until it was too late.

You aren't negative, not in my opinion. Since TL fixed the 2,000 shamrocks rewards on Matripony's round in the middle of the tournament why they didn't change the Valentine weak attack against Electric and Electric strong attack against Valentine? They didn't because they didn't want to, and they don't want to admit that they did what they did only to turns the tournament more impossible for most of the players, they change the rules of the game whenever they want only to ruin us. It's TL, they do whatever they do only for their benefit. At least they help us with the last community reward from the World Events in FFS and DS, but that's not enough when they change the rules to be more difficult in one time and in the next same time, they change the rules again for how it was in the begininng.

I wasn't sure what would beat the Matripony and it lost first to my Epic Lightning so I thought I would throw a Shamrock at it jut to see how it worked. I was surprised to see it the Matripony taken out with one strike from a non Epic Shamrock, but I am glad to see something beat the pink pony :)

So at least it is something others can try when you get to the Matripony. i would like to see it work for others before I believe that the Shamrock is strong to Valentine's. It may have only been a lucky strike so don't count on my single experience. Good Luck!

Okay, so the last tournament they changed to make it exceptionally difficult to win if you commit the grave sin of being a long-time player with a good roster. It's too early to say if they've stopped punishing long-time players this tourney or not. But it's clear that the last tourney succeeded in one thing for them: driving many of the long-term players from the game. I can't believe no one has powered through and shared the list of opponents! The tourney started 9 hours ago and nothing! Anyway, I am going to sleep. I'm sorry I can't update my table at the top of page 3 any more tonight. You can post it, you didn't look stupid, I only confirmed that, because in this forum, zenobia42 creates a table for every tournament and battleground, with the round, animal and elements that we should and not should use, the round of Matripony can be useful to him/her. A animal that can be strong against Matripony is useful, and was your point I know, but that info is useful to everybody, I only confirmed one thing and that's why I didn't post all of your post, that's why I've used the "(...)", because the Matripony number round is only useful to zenobia42 from what I know.

I didn't humiliate you and I didn't forced you to analyze the game for me, I analyze it myself, and when I have a question, I ask in the forum and wait for someone to answer me, and who answers me, I will not criticize, and when I say anything in the forum that I'm not sure and someone confirms what I've said without I even ask, I will not say the things you said, I will thank for that. I am wondering if anyone can explain to me the way that a level 1 Common beats level 15 Super Rare. I am not trying to be a super beach, but I really do not understand this. It makes me question the integrity of the people creating the tourneys.

I also agree that long time loyal players of FFS are at a HUGE disadvantage in this game. Remember all of that crappy shale we had to clear? Newer players are not required to go through that mess. My hubby who finally decided to begin playing needed 20 something Runes to expand to the Treeant! I currently need 70 Runes for all of my expansions and have noticed that we no longer get bombs if we have the misfortune of breeding a Fairy Ferret we get no bombs, it is insane. I deeply hope that sometime soon TL will allow us to have an alternate means of expansion. I know I could probably get maps from friends faster than getting enough Runes. (I am hoping to reach the Treeant as a birthday present to myself this coming June :P )

Lastly, how cool was it to have no tourneys last week?

Good to know that the plot for the Treeant is only 20 Runes! I do understand that since I have expanded so many times the cost is now at 70 Runes for my future expansions, but I would have loved the chance to choose whether I wanted to pay crazy amounts to clear shale or much smaller amounts to clear the trees of the plots on the left side of the Tree of Life and Breeding Circle. I believe that most of the players that began with this game from the beginning really had no choice as to where to clear. Good to know that the plot for the Treeant is only 20 Runes! I do understand that since I have expanded so many times the cost is now at 70 Runes for my future expansions, but I would have loved the chance to choose whether I wanted to pay crazy amounts to clear shale or much smaller amounts to clear the trees of the plots on the left side of the Tree of Life and Breeding Circle. I believe that most of the players that began with this game from the beginning really had no choice as to where to clear. Of course time has brought a fair fortune in my game and clearing shale would be so much easier now.

In the beginning when the game was released, we were expanding were we could, now we can choose to were we want to expand, more choices xD

Yes, the obstacles, trash wtv, is the part that I hate the most, and TL is making changes, the Immovable Rock before had a cost of 180,000 coins but now it costs 480,000 coins, but at least it only takes 4hrs instead of 20hrs. The Depleting Polar before, 1,000 coins and 1hr, now, 150,000 coins and 20min. The Siphoning Cypress before, 30,000 coins and 2hrs and 30min, now, 300,000 coins and 3hrs. So yeah, don't like the new costs to clear trash...

Okay, so the last tournament they changed to make it exceptionally difficult to win if you commit the grave sin of being a long-time player with a good roster. It's too early to say if they've stopped punishing long-time players this tourney or not. But it's clear that the last tourney succeeded in one thing for them: driving many of the long-term players from the game. I can't believe no one has powered through and shared the list of opponents! The tourney started 9 hours ago and nothing! Anyway, I am going to sleep. I'm sorry I can't update my table at the top of page 3 any more tonight. This is really annoying. I can't seem to breed anything new anymore for some reason so the only new animals I can get now are though the Arena and Battlegrounds. If this has now been changed to make this even more difficult and a big possibility of me running out of time then I really cannot see the point in playing this game any more. That was the case yesterday. They may have changed it yet again today! Did your electric attack gave the "weak" message? Or no message? Or "strong" but it just didn't get a critical? My "strong" attacks end up losing all the time due to the humungous luck factor.

When I tried matripony vs. electric-dark, it was weak, and I just assumed that meant valentine < electric again. But perhaps now they have completely rearranged what is strong, neutral and weak vs. Valentine. Maybe it is now valentine < dark which is was never anything but neutral before???? Ay caramba I wish they'd stop screwing with us!!!!!

Well, I guess the TL folks saw how happy we were that our electric attacks might be strong against their Matripony again and took it away from us. I used Terradactyl to beat Matripony last night. I got a screenshot of the win screen but not the attack and so I can't say for sure if my attack was strong or not last night.

So it appears that shamrock < valentine. And water < valentine... are the only confirmed valentine and shamrock relationships at this point. For today. I haven't had one word flash on the screen in any of my battles with (let's face it - the absolutely gorgeous) Matripony. I'll be sure to stay away from water, but I'll try everything else. I have no 'special' elements so everything is plain and simple for me.

I have been using a Level 14 Harpy for the first try for most of the rounds to get some data. See post #4 for details. I haven't analyzed it yet but this is what I have so far for the Shamrock/Luck element.

This is not my tournament. It is so interesting that many long time players seem to be having a harder time with the tournaments lately, I'm not surprised some are leaving the game. I've been noticing it lately, specifically with regard to tourneys and breeding limited animals, though I've not been playing since the very beginning (started Aug. 2014).

This tournament is totally crazy though. I am STILL stuck on a Level 1 Racmoon. I've lost with Epic Sloth, Epic Unicorn, Epic Panda, Epic Poodle, lvl 13 Lucky Rabbit, and lvl 13 Gold Lion. I don't have treent yet, and I've been trying relentlessly to breed a gem animal since each were released. I've actually stopped evolving my best animals to lvl 15 because it seems my epics are not that effective.

I don't mean to rant but I just wanted to express to everyone else who has been finding the game unbalanced lately: you are not alone! This is ridiculously frustrating! /end rant :)

Keep trying though, you might get lucky! I'm convinced that it is 99% luck, 1% strategy. It doesn't help that the goal posts are constantly being moved on us.

I just had a thought: the shamrock element critters - I wonder if that element is actually "luck" - as in, more likely to get a lucky critical hit luck? Because it seems a lot are getting weak AND critical hits with them. Just a thought.

I mean, I read somewhere in this thread that the 'lucky animals' e.g. Harpy, lucky rabbit etc (I wasn't in the world event so I don't know many) when they attack, it shows the leaf attack, the one that a nature animal would use. It's hard for me to explain. Sorry if you still don't understand, I can't put what I mean into words properly :p i was so surprised when I saw 'CRITICAL ATTACK' on the screen! I thought I'd never see that!

This is not my tournament. It is so interesting that many long time players seem to be having a harder time with the tournaments lately, I'm not surprised some are leaving the game. I've been noticing it lately, specifically with regard to tourneys and breeding limited animals, though I've not been playing since the very beginning (started Aug. 2014).

This tournament is totally crazy though. I am STILL stuck on a Level 1 Racmoon. I've lost with Epic Sloth, Epic Unicorn, Epic Panda, Epic Poodle, lvl 13 Lucky Rabbit, and lvl 13 Gold Lion. I don't have treent yet, and I've been trying relentlessly to breed a gem animal since each were released. I've actually stopped evolving my best animals to lvl 15 because it seems my epics are not that effective.

I don't mean to rant but I just wanted to express to everyone else who has been finding the game unbalanced lately: you are not alone! This is ridiculously frustrating! /end rant :)

I know how you feel. I was wondering if my epic Grassquatch has become a Nancy-Boy. He cannot beat babies in Tourneys. It is funny that my hubby who just began playing recently can breed just about anything in his forest and I breed the exact same animals and end up with common ****. He is also way ahead of me in this Tourney. How annoying! I would say that TL is losing their edge but they really rock with their new Diamond Quest game! Too bad you must wait forever for your lives to regenerate.

I feel I must post on this thread to state my extreme gratitude to Zenobia for working so hard to help others every tournament. Thank you all others who are the point men in attempting to dechipher the strengths and weaknesses of changing and new creatures.

That said, I am getting extraordinarily frustrated. I have played from day 1. I have epic animals in all categories -super rare and ultra rare included. Yet I cannot win beyond round 3 or 4. This is how the tournament's seem to go, every one. For some reason, the difficulty percentages have been placed so high for long-time players that it nearly negates the possibility of a win. I refuse to throw gems at a tournament. This is supposed to be a GAME - losing is part of that, but winning also should be. With no wins, there is no game and no point of continuing.

This game is fast approaching the delete bin.

I finally got a critical hit with my unicorn. It is so frustrating! I haven't done the last few tournaments and now I'm beginning to regret starting this one ...

Keep trying though, you might get lucky! I'm convinced that it is 99% luck, 1% strategy. It doesn't help that the goal posts are constantly being moved on us.

I got him the next go with my Emerald Dragon :) Like you say it is so frustrating. Hopefully both of us can get a bit of a run going now and fly through some rounds :) :)

The diagram is easy to understand when zenobia said that above is strong and below is weak, but thing is:

The text and diagram are showing the same thing aren't they? (From the bottom left section of diagram) the shamrock is above Xmas, meaning shamrock > Xmas, which is what Zenobia said. Above that, the Valentine heart is above the shamrock, meaning shamrock < Valentine. Also what Zenobia's message said. The text and diagram are the same.

Like you said, strong elements are the above ones, above is the previous up element connected by a line and the weak elements are the below ones, below is the following down element, but by the graphic, the Shamrock is strong against Valentine and weak against Christmas..

I guess you are confusing yourself.. above is the up element, you are using the above term to the down element.. From what I learned, above is on the top/up/previous/over, below is under/down/following/beneath.

This is how I understand the graphic, if said that the above ones were the weak ones and the below ones were the strong ones, the Shamrock element would be strong against Christmas and weak against Valentine...

I get exactly how you are reading the diagram. Take shamrock. To find out who it is strong against you go down, which leads to Xmas. Shamrock > xmas. Do the same for Valentine. From Valentine, to get to shamrock you go down, therefore Valentine > shamrock. When you have an opponent, you should finds its elements and look above it to see what you should use to defeat the opponent. If you are stronger than something, you are generally above it in terms of strength. I know Zenobia could explain this way better than I ever could, but I'm just trying to help.

It does not mean that it is strong to all the elements anywhere below it (which would be, well, ALL elements). It only means it is strong to the two directly below it with a line from it.

Maybe think of the graphic this way: it's like gravity. If one element is above another (and connected to it by a line), that means it will drop on it from above like a hawk and crush it. shamrock above Xmas means shamrock crushes Xmas.

I get exactly how you are reading the diagram. Take shamrock. To find out who it is strong against you go down, which leads to Xmas. Shamrock > xmas. Do the same for Valentine. From Valentine, to get to shamrock you go down, therefore Valentine > shamrock. When you have an opponent, you should finds its elements and look above it to see what you should use to defeat the opponent. If you are stronger than something, you are generally above it in terms of strength. I know Zenobia could explain this way better than I ever could, but I'm just trying to help.

I ignore the other Christmas element on top, I look for a element, Shamrock, from what you said, the element that is on top of the element I look, Valentine, it means that Shamrock is strong against Valentine, and when I look for the element down from the Shamrock, the Christmas one, like you said, the down elements are the weak ones, so this means that Shamrock is weak against Valentine.

This is how I understand the graphic, but Pudding already explained to me how your graphic works.

shamrock is WEAK to Valentine.
shamrock is strong to Xmas.

Is it confusing people the way nina wrote her list? She was using the shamrock element. She listed each opponent then whether her shamrock attack was strong, weak or neutral. So "--xMas/Fire - Strong" means her shamrock was strong vs. Xmas-fire. Not the other way around. And "--Valentine - Weak" means shamrock was weak to valentine.

Anyway, if the graphic doesn't make sense, to anyone, it can just be ignored and go by the lists. My thought was that some people have an easier time with lists (left-brained folks) and some with graphics (right-brained). Most find either one or the other easy to use and the other nearly gibberish. But you only need to use EITHER the list or graphics. They are just 2 different ways of saying the same exact thing. You don't need to use both - only 1 or the other.

This may sound strange but you can use an animal that has a weak attack against an opponent and still win. When we say an attack is weak, we mean that is what the message says on the screen when you press the button for the attack. To win against an opponent, you must get a Critical Hit. An animal with elements that have strong attacks against the opponent's elements increase your chance of getting a critical hit. You can win a battle with Weak elements just as you can lose with Strong elements. The probability of winning is better when you use stronger elements. The level of the animals and the rarity also contribute to the Critical Hit calculation.

Thanks zenobia! I always use your charts to fight my battles and I find them extremely useful! As I posted earlier, my Epic Super Rare Shamrock or Luck (or whatever we end up calling this element) defeated the Matripony with a single Critical Hit yesterday. Thanks for adding it to your chart. I was unsure, as I had not seen it posted earlier, if my Shamrock win was luck or a true indicator of it being strong against the Matripony. Fortunately others have collaberated my observation.

zenobia creates a table for all Tournaments and Battlegrounds, I am talking about the table and not the diagram. I only confirmed that Matripony was the round 9 from the tournament because zenobia didn't had any opponents after round 7, this confirmation was useful so she could had the Matripony to the table, I only posted about the round because I wanted, like you said, "I also did not ask for you to expound about an insignificant comment in my post (...)" you didn't asked, buy everybody is free to comment to whatever they want and I only confirmed one thing and you decided to think that I was being rude and didn't get your point. Please explain to me...you keep saying that electric is weak aganinst matriponey (valentine) and several of us have beaten it with NATURE - personnaly I always beat matriponey with nature attack, always one try, never had any difficulty.
but in your table you dont mention nature... Am I just lucky each time when I use NATURE ?

Thanks for sharing the info and good luck taking down the Toucan! If you have a toy poodle, I recommend trying it (again?). It is impossible to have something that is the same or better rarity than a toucan that is also strong to it. So since I can't beat it's rarity, I usually go for the double-strong rare rather than a single-strong super.

9 Matripony (valentine) Still unsure what they have changed this time. It used to be that electric > valentine > water. Then last tournament they made nothing strong to valentine. Then this one there are conflicting reports as to whether electric > valentine or not. Just... avoid water, and please post whatever attack you used, and whether it was strong, neutral or weak. If you **** it with one critical, that does not mean it was strong. It means you were very lucky whether your attack was strong or not.
ETA Wed. AM: Even though nature attack is neutral, a lot of folks are getting lucky using it, so it seems the best to try right now.
electric was briefly strong then neutral again. Try nature.


Based on the advice above I used my Ancient Sloth level 15. Using nature, my first hit was neutral and the second hit was critical taking down Matripony.

Krampus is my Go-To guy, for Nature or Fire. Leveled him to 15 and he is nearly unstoppable! :)

Yes, you and many others are just lucky. When I say strong or weak, that is based on the game's own message. When a hit is not a critical hit, the game says it's "strong," "weak" or has no message at all (neutral). That message helps us determine which elements are strong vs. the opponent. Any attack has a chance of being critical. But if it is an element that has a strong attack, it has the best odds of becoming critical. If it has a weak attack, it has the worst odds of becoming critical. So I base the lists and graphics on which elements are "strong" and therefore most likely to get critical hits. The only way to win a battle is to land one or more critical hits.

But a LOT of people have been getting lucky critical hits with nature vs. Matripony this tournament. That is why I put a note to that effect in the table this morning when I saw so many lucky nature critical hits. The nature hits, when not critical, are still neutral though. So I did not change the graphic.

In DS the person uses gold to know the opponents, and in FFS doesn't use gem, and from what I've seen, the person who's editing is following the zenobia table, the last opponent she wrote was the Lunar Goat xD

Thank you all for your win/loss tracking. It always helps me a lot during these tournaments. I noticed that there were some wins with Thorilla (electric) vs Matriponey so I decided to try it. Second attack was a crit so I was jumping for joy at my lucky win. I collected my coins and moved on, waiting for the next hour. I checked again a while later and the game wouldn't load. I closed it and tried to restart the game and it still wouldn't load. I finally restarted my phone and the game loaded. Guess what? It made me fight Matriponey again and this time I had no luck with Thorilla. I don't care about the gold loss but losing 2 hours on a limited time tournament really sucks. On top of that, these tournaments are getting ridiculous with the changes to strength and weaknesses. All of that should make sense and we should not have to rely on luck to get a crit.

Sorry for the rant. It just isn't much fun playing this game anymore. The constant squeeze for money is also shameful. Time to go back to WoW.

I beat it with a level 15 Storm Sphinx (Electric/Nature). Nature or Gem is the best elements here, You can combine Nature with Electric, Dark, Water, or Earth for a good fighter if you don't have a gem.

This forum and that site usually have the full tournament roster up a half a day into the tournament. However, the last tournament seems to have turned off most or all of the game's long-time players who are big gem-spenders. They have all either abandoned the game, or at least given up on tournaments. For those who haven't been here long, the way it used to work was that if you built up a good... army I'll call it, of level 15 super-rare and a few ultra-rares is possible, you could always be assured your diligence and hard work raising those animals meant you would win every full-length tournament. But the last tournament they clearly added an algorithm to punish long-time players by making it MORE difficult for us to win the tourney than it was for newbies with few or no level 15s of any sort. Many of us felt that was really wrong of them to punish long-time players who, since there is nothing we can do to guarantee or even bolster success at breeding, at least could be almost guaranteed the full-length tournament prizes (and event prizes). As a group, we felt really, really wronged by this change and many of my best friends here on the forum are now gone because of it. Them making it so 90% of every new animal in the last few months was either limited or ultra-rare, with abysmal odds for both, had a a lot teetering on the edge of quitting the game. The last tournament (and the flash tournament before it which was 33% ultra rare animals) clearly drove most over the edge. It makes me really sad. To lose those friends, and for the future of the game. Such short-sighted and just plain mean tactics to get us to spend more, more, more are having the opposite effect.

If they carry on like that, they'll have to end the game just like monster story. I don't see why S8 think making the game near impossible would make them more money. Not everyone is stupid enough to dish out the cash for everything (no offence to the people who do buy a lot of gems). And that statistic with the ultra rare animals is stupid. It's just not right at all. Hopefully they start seeing their earnings decrease, and change the way the game plays. It's meant to be fun and enjoyable. We pay for optional extras, no paying for the basics. I really hope this game doesn't sink, it was pretty enjoyable when it first came out - I don't know why the sudden greed appeared. It's not like S8's other games aren't doing well enough.

Monster story ended because they stopped making new monsters and I had all of them. Dragonstory ended forme because I had all the animals I needed, new ones were repeats and there was no new room. This game, FF, may end because of the way the long-time players are treated.

If it helps. I beat Matripony with nature attack from Present Pheasant.

My friend is still stuck on round 5, having ultra rares, super rares, epic animals in every category, most all of the limited creatures. Nothing is winning. I have been struggling, loosing far more than winning, also. As she stated, when the game -which understandably should contain some loss for a win to be "fun" - is no longer fun or a "game" because there IS no winning aspect, it ceases to be a viable entertainment.

This game, for me also, is fast approaching the delete bin.

I beat it with a level 15 Storm Sphinx (Electric/Nature). Nature or Gem is the best elements here, You can combine Nature with Electric, Dark, Water, or Earth for a good fighter if you don't have a gem.

Yes, Aurora Pegasus is nature/dark plus super rare, that's why I supposed it to win.. Now I'm gonna try my 15 Ancient Sloth and then 10 Storm Sphynx, thx for the tip :)

This forum and that site usually have the full tournament roster up a half a day into the tournament. However, the last tournament seems to have turned off most or all of the game's long-time players who are big gem-spenders. They have all either abandoned the game, or at least given up on tournaments. For those who haven't been here long, the way it used to work was that if you built up a good... army I'll call it, of level 15 super-rare and a few ultra-rares is possible, you could always be assured your diligence and hard work raising those animals meant you would win every full-length tournament. But the last tournament they clearly added an algorithm to punish long-time players by making it MORE difficult for us to win the tourney than it was for newbies with few or no level 15s of any sort. Many of us felt that was really wrong of them to punish long-time players who, since there is nothing we can do to guarantee or even bolster success at breeding, at least could be almost guaranteed the full-length tournament prizes (and event prizes). As a group, we felt really, really wronged by this change and many of my best friends here on the forum are now gone because of it. Them making it so 90% of every new animal in the last few months was either limited or ultra-rare, with abysmal odds for both, had a a lot teetering on the edge of quitting the game. The last tournament (and the flash tournament before it which was 33% ultra rare animals) clearly drove most over the edge. It makes me really sad. To lose those friends, and for the future of the game. Such short-sighted and just plain mean tactics to get us to spend more, more, more are having the opposite effect.

Oh my goodness! If I had realized this I would not have started the topic! I am sorry.

My computer experience involves college courses on Basic and C, done on punch cards for a room sized computer that takes 24 hours to process a program. (45 years ago or so) My iPad is something I poke. I learn fast, but do not know how to copy an item. It does not respond to the "double click" that copies so many things. If there is an explanation you can give, however abbreviated, I am happy to follow it. Otherwise, perhaps a moderator can paste this for us.

I apologize to all, but particularly to Zenobia. I keep up with modern technology pretty well, but this does not respond to known moves and is something new to me.
