We're on a roll with the updates! The coin grass tiles are amazing! I'm hoping for some oldies but goodies to be brought back like the Stone Spring and the Rose Column and Truffle Chair. As for new stuff...I know everyone is probably sick of fountains, but I would like to see a new one.

For some of us Easter is not over yet, so I hope to see again some Easter items for sale.Some of my friends just started to decorate for Easter and didn't managed to have enough coins and gems to buy what they wanted from the previous sale.So please S8 give us a chance to decorate for Easter, some people will celebrate Easter this Sunday.

It's really nice! I love the new trees! The cupcake display is gorgeous! I also love the tables and chairs! I just redid my Bakery's garden area using yellows and whites. Can't wait to add this stuff to it!

I didn't even notice the couple on the bicycle down at the bottom!

I have a garden stool that looks like the stools in this update (only without the daisy on it). So cool.

I also love the wallpaper. The cherry blossom wallpaper wasn't too expensive (for me), but I do hope this is for coins. I covered all of my walls in the cherry blossom wallpaper, and I'd like a bakery full of this one as well.

I hope most of these items are for coins and inexpensive! I love everything! Would be just the motivation to make a spring/summer themed bakery. Kinda wish I had gotten the egg hunt now..but I have more than enough items to take its place. This is too cute. I also hope we have new recipes. I'll be finished with the goals tomorrow and don't want to be stuck staring at the appliances to master. It can wait.

I just spent every coin (down to 598 coins) I had redecorating with yellow and pastel colors. This update is going to be a perfect complement. Perfectly seasonal S8. Thank you for spring, flowers and sunshine. Love it. Bravo to the designer who made the daisy mason jar wall decor. They are very well done, on trend and a great way to bring spring into a bakery.

Bummer that the tree and the cupcake display are both for gems. I want to open the Gardeners chest again so I was hoping there would be a sale on it. I accidently opened it in RS and got the same prize I already have. I opened the chest 3 times last summer and really want the fountain. Should I buy the cupcake display or open the box? I'm really happy that the table/chair, wallpaper, and couple on the bike are for coins, but I'm a bit disappointed that the daisy trees are for 20 gems. Kinda pricey for some trees IMO. I'm definitely going to buy the cupcake display!

Yes, it's designed so Beautiful and looks better than anything similar out of the box, but the price is still steep. I'm sure I'll see some high level player with about 20 windows and 15 of the plants. There's always one of those hanging around.

The frequency of changes to the Google Play edition is goofy. But since these updates also come with free gems to entice the download, I'm not complaining too loudly. The free gems cover the sales delta so I suppose we achieve an illusion of parity.

Well not quite as bad as the RS update.
I love that the tables, chairs, wallpaper, hanging mason jars and the couple on the bike are for coins...they are all so pretty and nice, so a big yay for that. I really wanted all of those.

I have a 10% off the new gem items.
Daisy Trellis 14 gems for me...it's really lovely but pricey, 8 would have been better.
Blossom Topiaries 18 gems, again a bit steep I think but I might have to get some.
Cupcake Display 27 gems, which I also think is too much, it's got nice detail though. I'm on the fence about that one.

I got two of the topiaries and what can I say? I think they are really really pretty. Might get two more before the sale ends. I don't think 18 gems is too bad considering the usual pricing. If they were going for 30 gems a piece then I'd be shocked.

Ios gets updates before Android does each week. It has pretty much always been this way. Sometimes Android gets a "goal" that includes downloading the updated game and you get gems for completing this goal successfully. Usually by Friday the updated version or updates are rolled out for Android players.

New Android versions seem to come out toward the end of the week from what I've read. It may not be out for Android yet, so please keep checking. I'm on iOS, so it is already available for me.

If you're playing on an apple device then make sure you have the latest version of the game. If you have the latest version of the game then the update should appear in your game.

If you are playing on an android device then, as usual, ios gets the update first, then android gets it by Friday usually with an in game prompt to download the newest version of the game.

There's not a whole lot else to talk about, really, is there? The updates themselves are basically the same: new table, new chair, a new wallpaper or floor when they feel like it, maybe throw in a new counter. A new floor decor or two. Either both the table and chair are for coins or one part is gems, blah blah.

in what way should they change? the update threads are a reflection of the consumers (that's us) evaluation/assessment of their (S8) product (or rather newest products). If over weeks/months they are the same then the consensus has remained the same. For that to change you are suggesting we, the consumer should change instead of the aspect of the product being offered which we are assessing? Why? and in what way? O_o

Yea, I get that it is a forum. I'm on the forum. I was simply putting my opinion out there that I find it tedious to read the same comments from the same people every single week. We all know that everyone wants everything for coins, we all know that no one wants to spend money on gems, we all know that no one wants any of the good decorations to cost gems.... that's all.....

What else is anyone playing supposed to do? Everyone cannot possibly like the same things. We all cannot hate the same things. We will never agree on the same things. There were some players who created a fuss over the most mundane holiday items. We arent berating them. Just saying we like what we like, we hate what we hate, the prices are good or the prices are bad.

Thats what a forum is for. Sharing what you think. If everything praised them it would be a huge farce. The important thing is we share what we feel, without being rude to TL and their designers. Or the people who do want to buy what we think is still overpriced.

Now..lets carry on...

After looking at the cupcake tower again..I MAY get a couple of them somewhere down the line. But not anytime soon...im still mastering old ovens to get gems to buy the previous japanese and tea garden displays. Ive spent hundreds on this game and even after starting at the topiary a few times because its so darn cute, i still cannot muster up any enthusiasm to get gems to buy some. Four was all I needed!!!

Ive spent a couple thousand real US dollars on this game and numerous others in the past 3 years. Happily and willingly. Im not a part of the make everything for coins..or oh dang this is a box brigade..but even I still think the prices are a bit much. Me thinks these were supposed to be a part of a box that they tossed and instead offered them out. I still also think the prices, especially for that window are atrocious.

The update just showed up on my phone (Android). There was a popup after i came home and opened the game that told me to check out the new items, and there they were. Maybe it was an auto-update from the play store since I was on my home wifi? I dunno, but I guess there will be no gems for me this go round? But it's still "Pastry Shop" when I open it...

Did you open the goal first from whatever previous version you are using (maybe Pastry Shop) before downloading and opening BS Spring? You have to actually get the goal to install it first in order to receive the gems.

Me too! It's nice that updates are automatic on Kindle, but we also don't earn gems for downloading a new version. I don't understand why we don't have the sale on these gem items. Can this be fixed before the sale ends please?

Fire the artist!!!! Whomever did the artwork on the daisy cake should be fired along with the person who approved the final product! Is it just me or is that the worst artwork on a bakery dish? The whole thing just looks a drab yellow with some tiny green in it. The pedals of the daisy aren't even white which they should have. Someone just dropped the ball on this one! Big let down when I dished that onto a counter! Well, at least I got the 6 gems on both bs and rs for installing.

I like the daisy cake, it's cute. I love that we're getting so many tiered cakes to serve for our customers lately. The fruit cake and pie cake from a couple of weeks ago were nice too. I just wish we had some floor displays that correlated with the recipes. It's weird to me that many of the food displays don't correlate with the food we can actually make.

I looked in my android bakery and the prices are the same as my iOS bakery, except the gem items aren't marked as "sale", they're marked as "new." Is this fixed for the android people who had 30 gems for the cupcake display instead of 27?

i haven't downloaded new version yet, but would not be surprised to learn that android was not getting the sale prices, because we get the download bonus that iOS does not, much like iOS didn't get the lower easter sale prices that android did because they had the opportunity to buy bundles that we didn't. it doesn't work out to an exact parity, but at least they're making some effort towards evenhandedness.

(or i'm totally wrong. like i said, haven't downloaded new version yet.)

Kindles are cute, my daughter had one before it broke, they're too bland for me. But it does stink how they're still behind the curve on everything else. However, if someone has a kindle they most likely have an iPhone or android phone at least. Sign in through there, get your gems and items and then play, at leisure on your larger kindle.

Thank's for help. Yesterday I opened bakery story and it was saying download the new version to get 6 gems and in a second after that my game was processing and when I click on the goal list the one saying download the new version - was wrotten on it expired and it dissapeared so that's why I was so dissapointed. I opened the game and closed it several times in the day (friday-when we get the new updates on android) and it never showed again. I got in RS cuz I also play it and there I was able to download the new version on bs and I got 6 gems. That's why I didn't understand it :(
