Hi,

every time you bake a dish you have to pay money, you get some experience points (stars) and get a cooking toque. After received couple of toques you get awarded as apprentice cook. Later on, you get status Junior and receive a free gem.
How many dishes do you have to make /bake to receive a free gem?

It takes 160 chef points to get to Level 2 and a gem. You get 7 points per recipe (3 to prep and 4 to finish).
