Battle tries lowered?

Hey, on April 1st the maximum number of attempts to battle were lowered from 4 to 2 on my game. It hasn't gone back up since. I'm not sure if my searching s****s are failing me this morning or if there's really nothing about it here but is this supposed to happen?

Oh, wow, bad timing on that one! It's not an April Fools. The energy cap is now 2 for all players. These were gameplay changes made in efforts to further balance the game. :)
