Purple hide? What for?

I got the Purple Cow I think from Ivy. He drops purple ink, petals, etc... But sometimes, rarely, he drops purple hide. I haven't seen a use for it yet - does anyone know what it will be used for?

I have speculated that it will be used for a Royal Robe that will need to be crafted for coronation. Purple is default color for Royalty.

One of my neighbors claims that the purple hides are the true measure for how good a collector you are in the game! He does not think much of tulips and clippers, lol!:p

Try to measure randomness, well this ain't be a good KPI. I collect 3x a day since the cow was there, and that is a loooooong time ago. Well I just have 38 of them.

Sheesh, I had to scroll back to page 75 of my 137! pages of inventory to find it .....
I have 17 & I've rarely missed a purple cow collection in the 14+ months I've been playing, just for the chance at that random purple gem Violet will sometimes spit my way, lol.

I have 16 and I have been playing for 3 years now, not missing a collection for exactly the same reason,the alluring purple gem :)
BTW had to scroll to only page 42 since I got one a couple of days ago lol.

Out of curiosity I check my inventory, my purple hides are located on page 45/148. Well let's make a new u-goal of it: 200 pages of inventory :D

26 purple hides. On page 23/129 so must have gotten one in the last week or 2.
I tap Violet whenever she's ready too...lol. Wish I knew how many gems she's given me. I'm betting it's pretty close to the hide number.

You could store 1 of every lvl building: 1 lvl 1 conservatory, 1 lvl 2, 1 lvl 3 etc. Same for all buildings you can lvl :)

I think it's a fun goal for experienced players :D

Agree! I'd have to double check, but I have a lot of multi levelled buildings in there already... But it's a good thought! :)

I have 11 on page 50/95. I too collect every 8 hours on Violet for that rare gem she gives us. :-)

I'm so confused I thought Ivy gave us the purple cow not an castle adveture,, she was making a potion and it blow up and then we got the purple cow.. At least I believe this is how I got mine and right now I have 44 purple hides thinking we used one in a quest way back,,
