I've been stuck on the 'Grow your garden' goal for about 2/3 weeks now because I need to open the 4th plot but I can't. Not because I don't have enough seeds; I can't seem to get any shovels. Does Cid ever drop any shovels? :(

I do have a couple shovels from Cid. I don't know if this is true or not but I seem to get better drops if I click him faster. If I wait a couple seconds I seem to get more nails.

But yes, I have shovels, not many as they seem rare.

I do however have a hard time getting seeds. :(

Ye, even I've noticed the reduction in seeds.:(

For the first time yesterday I got a seed. I doubt i'll ever be able to grow my garden..unless i use gems. :(

The shovels and seeds come eventually but they are very rare ive only got five unlocked with almost constant okay at kevel 33 after fifteen days ie 20 hours a day, serious addiction! However five seems to be enough if you harvest constantly and keep your pantry large enough so you don't have to delete OR delete less vLuable ingredients instead. For example i never delete gi ginger ir vanilla as uts just too valuable to me now. sane goes for basil really. ZInmight be willing to part with the odd garlic if i have ten!

For me, I've noticed I never get shovels on their own. I only get them when Cid decided to drop me two items.

Wait, what??!? He drops 2 items? This has never happened for me, I didn't even know it was possible....!!!!!!!
