Game crashing

I have an iPad running ios 5.0. City Story Metro crashes after about 5 minutes, if it loads. i have to delete and reload the game after 3 tries to load it most times, very frustrating! What can I do to fix this problem? Also where are the weekly updates? Haven't seen one for more than a month!
