It looks like iOS has an App Update for Easter in iTunes. Starting March 19 there will be egg-citing activities during the Easter Event.

There will be exclusive limited-time prizes like the Easter Egg Patch and Stuffed Easter Bunny. Think you can find all of the Easter Eggs hiding around your farm? Collect Easter Eggs around your farm to turn in for exclusive prizes. Take part in limited time quests. Win new pets like the adorable Spring Bunny!

I wonder how much chocolate items we'll need during this event? I'd have to assume quite a bit, since Chocolate is a big, if not biggest, Easter item.

I can't wait either. Id rather take my chances with a turn in the collection event and saw I participated. Than to sit back on the sidelines and feel bothered by having to throw in the towel on the first day, like with the last event and the one before that. A bunny! How fun will THAT be?! I still won't buy gems but will do the train and hope my animals give me a few gems. IF the building to make eggs is a reasonable price, I'll get 4.99 worth of gems.

For people playing, don't do like the last one and saw you aren't colledting such and such. The cost of those buildings aren't that horrible IF you can afford to buy them and are worth the extra help they give. Last year I had great lucky with the easter event. I hope this one takes me out of my farm story 2 bad luck funk.

Finding the Easter eggs is going to be a chore, I think, as I have a feeling they're going to be as tiny as the valentine's cupid was and I'll end up going blind by the time the event is over trying to locate them all. Thank goodness I don't have any decorations out on my farm, as at least they won't blend in too much. Just probably hiding behind a building or tree. hehehe

It isn't a deco bunny as the information from the App Store that I posted in the first post called it a PET bunny, hence actual pet. So egg-cited and hopefully I can get one. :)

Can you get a pet if you are not a level to get the pet? Im level 27 and the rabbits are level 29+.

This is one of the reasons I've never tried to get the rabbit from the tree house. I have no idea what would happen to the rabbit if I got it lol

I'm pretty sure that you'd be able to get a rabbit from the tree house if it's given it as an option as a prize, as long as you can buy the habitat. With these special events the same applies, as long as you can purchase the habitat then you should be able to get the pet made available. Otherwise they would raise the level applicable to do the event. :)

LOL!!! Actually your idea is great except for the mine part, though probably accurate as they have to make us use the mine in every event. *sighs* At least my eye sight will be saved but at the cost of my sanity. :p

I gave up almost immediately on the St. Patrick's Day event because of the lack of rubies, and I couldn't complete either the Valentine's or the Chinese New Year's events because of the need for those special baits. PLEASE don't let us have to craft special baits to fish out something from the fishing hole (Valentine's Wreath, Lucky Fish), and just let it be randomly caught like it has in other, earlier events (including last year's Easter event).

So based on the last few events, we are likely to need lots of mining tools not only to craft special bait but to collect eggs in the mine.


And do bear in mind that the mine item has always been the last one released, so using mining tools before then is not desirable (even to make bait).

If it is an event where you have to do activities around the farm and each day a new item is released, then chickens have been used in the past but not in every one of these events.

FINALLY we got a new edition for ios!! It's been soo long since they last give us one. I'm hoping they will change the background or perhaps the music.

The St. Patrick's event just ended and now we got another event. TL, don't you think it's a little too fast? We used to have a few weeks break in between event, so we can better prepare for the next event. But the recent events are released so close to the next one and we only got like a few days of break. Are they trying to bleed everyone dry? :rolleyes:

As for the Easter event, I just hope it won't be another random luck based event.

I'm kind of dreading this. Enough with the events already! I like so many others couldn't even participate in the St. Patty's day event because I couldn't get the rubies needed. I mined for days and used up quite a few of my tools or wasted I should say! I just don't want to be disappointed again. The Easter event from (I think last year) was a disaster and I never got my cat bunny and I clearly never got over that and the reindeer incident...my reasons for wanting to play are becoming fewer and fewer.

Personally, I would IF you have the gems to spare to try to get it.
I have 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 bunny & 1 horse (all from the treehouse). And just today, I've gotten close to 1000 coins, 1 paint, & 1 shovel just by collecting from them & literally all you have to do is feed them about every 6-8 hours ( can't remember exact time between feedings)
Having said that, I personally wouldn't spend the 200+ gems that they cost in the marketplace just bc I use my gems very sparingly. But if you have the gems to spare, I would say yes.

Ohhh, I didn't know that. That seriously stinks. If you won it even if you are below the level you should be able to place it in your farm. Just not purchase new ones from the market, but won one's, yeah, those shouldn't be dependent on level, honestly. It's like "Here you go, we give you this pet as a grand prize, now you can watch him sit in storage for months!"

It requires buying more darts w your gems. If you pop all 6 items, then you get the grand prize. Be prepared to spend at least 30+ gems if you want the big prize

You have to get all 6 prizes from behind the balloons to win the grand prize but it is designed so that you need to pop all or most of the balloons to do that. You get 3 darts for free but the other 22 you need to pay for with gems.

When people talk about getting the grand prize, they've paid gems to do that.

Anne, you have to BUY the rest of the darts with gems. Sorry I wasn't clear. It "normally" takes 250 gems to "get" him, but I got lucky, and didn't have to pay so much! He's a nice addition to my farm, and of course he gives me extra coinage and XP points along with other surprises.

We can only guess at the moment but it is likely to be the type of event where we have to collect 10 different items over a 10 day period. Each day one item gets released at update time.

So if today's item is from collecting from sheep, when update goes live you want your sheep ready for collection and not have to wait hours for them.


If it is one of these types of events, you need to do the same every day, so you are ready to collect at update time to find where the egg is that has been released that day.

I sure hope the dye machine won't be usable anymore. Think of all the rubies, iron ores, gold and PAINT you need if they put the "On" switch back. Nooo nooo! My heart bleed when I've to give 2 can of paints to craft the darn purple dye. :(

I know the feeling! I actually out-loud whimpered when I added my paint. I so didn't want to give that up. I was lucky and had all but one Ruby when the event started, not sure what I have now, I think maybe 1 ruby. YIKES!

If they do turn it "on" again, I hope the requirements are different and more reasonable as I don't think my poor heart or sanity could take it.

I think they are trying to tell players that do not come to the forum that they can now put leftover dyes in their store and dump them to get them out of their barn.....but we will know in a couple of hours.

You dont have to buy it and it will likely be sold for 80 gems later in the event.

Unfortunately for me, I have two slots filled with the polenta thing which takes 3 hours for each one. We can also buy a one- time rabbit trap for 5 gems and an egg dipping machine for 160 gems ( which I don't have!) This is going to be tough. Good luck to all!

Personally I like these types or events the best. The one with the reindeer are the worst. The collection times arent practical. Bad thing is, I just bought Good on dragon thinking I had a black Diamond dragon. So I used up my $5 teamlava budget allowance and need to wait to get the egg dipper thingy. Now that I think of it, I'll get it next week when it's on sale. Because we know it'll be on sale for half off.

I'm waiting till the dippy thing is half price, but is it worth doing the goals? On the valentines quest I didn't bother as it was hard enough collecting things without having to give a certain amount away, but only ended up with many duplicates of the decorations and no pets. Are you guaranteed a pet if u do the goals?

I just had a second goal appear that wants you to buy a bunny trap and gives you 2 gems in return. The trap costs 5 gems though, and its the one that other people had commented is a ONE-TIME use trap.

Don't worry about it too much, you have 19 days to collect carrots. An hour or two here or there probably will not make much of a difference.

1. You have to use the kitchen :) (for example, you can make biscuits)
2. It's in your collection gallery
3. Yes, you can complete the goals and you can also turn in collections (by using the dipping station)

Base on what I can see there are two goals. The collection goal, whose prize is the bunny. And then the other goal with the two flower pots being the prize. Im thinking that there will be other goals with deco prizes.

Honestly unless the white bunny with the pink bow is a prize somewhere Im skipping this one. Unless I like any of the decos there might be. But right now I dont like the yellow bunny or the flower pots.

Did you check the collections as the prize is immediately put in there. The only thing that should be highlighted is the Carrot, so if anything else is not greyed out and has a 1 next to it, then that was your prize.

YES! At the same time press your HOME button and your POWER OFF button. You will hear a click, and pic will be taken. This is how you take a screen shot of anything. It goes into your pic folder.

Sure, bring up the barn and when you have it on the screen, hit the on button at the top of your device at the same time you hit the home button on the button. That takes a screen shot. :)

You have to finish each goal consecutivly. To have to finish them in order of appearance, or you can't go on to the next one.

There isn't anything that indicates that, it is just the way TL works their goals. *shrugs*

It is the same in almost all their games, that is why I never buy the content until I know for sure a goal won't ask you to do so, because if you do, the goal won't always look at it retroactively and you just have to purchase the item again. It used to happen in RS 1 all the time. As an example, people would purchase wallpaper for every wall of their restaurant, and then the goal would ask them to purchase the wallpaper, and they couldn't, as they'd already done and covered their walls with it. The goal wouldn't recognize it. :(

In this case I just remembered from the Valentine goals, that were run the same way, that a goal asked us to purchase the mailbox, which when you gave it a set of roses (first item in that event) it would give you a random collectible prize.

Both cupid cat and valentine puppy were available from turning in collections during the valentine event!
But the cat was also available as the final goal as a quest from Morgan.
Heads up we only had a goal I think every other day in valentines event so don't expect one today.

Awe thanks. I'm trying to make it as easy to read as possible as I know these goals can be very confusing.

I thought we did get a daily goal we had to fulfill, no? I actually started the Valentine's goal late, about 4 days before the cat goal came out. I wasn't going to do it at all as it required way too many resources, but once I knew the cat was the final prize, I spent those days working tirelessly in getting them all completed. LMAO!!! I don't think I slept much trying to play catch-up. Was a bit loopy by the time it finished. :p

I haven't even gone into the game yet and I think I had about 53/90 with the biscuits done last night. I figure I'll finish them off this morning and then I'll probably purchase the egg dye machine. I had last night over 30 sugar and 25 chocolate stored and it's taking up room in my barn. I figure I'll start making the carrots to save some space and get a head start this time around. I really wanted to wait and see if they cut the price in half, like they did last time, but don't want to scramble those last few days again. I don't think I'll survive it a second time around. :rolleyes:

It isn't for the Egg Dipper, dyes aren't required. The Dye Machine from the last event is just a decoration now, however, the Pot can still be upgraded (for those that weren't able to finish) by using gems or getting the necessary dye via markets/newspaper. Hopefully those that weren't able to complete it on time will manage to find the dyes they need and save themselves some gems. :)

I'm glad to be of help. The goal threads help me so much that when I can give back a little, I do try.

TO ALL - I've updated the first post with the details of timing for each collectible when making it in the Egg Dipper. In case there are some that are holding off in purchasing it, you can plan your timing around how each piece is timed and what's required. I do hope this helps everyone. I know for the last event I rushed those last 4 days doing the individual goals as well as purchasing the Kissing Booth at the discounted price, and having that information ahead of time saved my sanity. LOL!!

Also just in case youre looking in the wrong place for them, they show up in your collections(like butterfly/mole collections) not your barn

This train will leave with a partial load, as I didn't have enough time to fill it. What should I do with the 8 irons?????
The only thing I could think of was make screws in the forge. I don't have enough wood planks to make picks.

Definitely, definitely just keep your iron, just in case you need it .

We will not know for sure until they release the bait but if it is iron, you'll need as many as you can get.

The iron ores should be inside your barn, so long you didn't press the "Load" button. Don't load them in, we got another stupid special bait for this event again! ##$%%^&&

No I Didn't press the load button yet. I thought you could only press the load button if you had a FULL load.

No, you can load individual items, otherwise you would never be able to do the train because of the amount of barn space needed to collect all the items.


Each item has a separate load button and once you press it that item disappears out of your barn/silo and it is gone.


Press all the individual load buttons and the train will leave straight away giving you a part drop and gem reward.


If you don't press all the individual load buttons the train will leave at the designated time. You will only get a 2 gem reward if you had loaded enough items - I think it is 6 for that reward.


It is good that you have not loaded that iron. Become a hoarder of iron to participate in events ;).....unless they surprise us and stop using iron.

I did a train this morning but I did discard one the day before yesterday because it wanted iron. I am keeping stocks of iron, rubies, gold and mining tools because of previous event requirements.


Usually plane orders are needed to drop one of the items. I have discarded all difficult plane orders and just have ones which are easy to shop for when the time comes.

Same as Ciarjen, ErnieKatz. If it is an easy train order, meaning quick and easy items that I can discard and make back quickly, I'll do the train even if it's only for the 2 gems. It helps clear the Silo/Barn as well, since a lot of people refrain from buying items unless they need them. They don't want to fill up their barns/silos either. LOL

All plane orders are scrutinized very closely and then I trash usually all but one, maybe two per fill-up. They ask for things that I've no intention of giving up, like sugar/chocolate (using in the dipper right now), or gold/iron/silver, jewelry that they under-cut the pricing too much to ever give up anyways, etc....

Read the first post in this thread to understand how to work this whole goal chain. You can make carrots using the egg dipper by inputting 2 sugar and 2 chocolate.

Just as an observation: I've been having problems remembering what is needed in the collection with this event. I find it harder to remember the various egg's color patterns, and it's hard to write down what I need cause they are hard to describe. The valentine event collections were easier to remember and write down cause they each stood out as individuals.
I may just print out a copy of what I have in the collection so it's easier for me to keep track.

It depends, are you going to buy the egg dipper at all, as they may put it on sale near the end for 1/2 price. If you do plan on buying it, you have two options, keep making items in the kitchen to get the carrots, or you can make the carrots in the dipper (2 sugar/2 chocolate) to then use to make the other collectible items.

If you don't plan on buying the dipper at all, then maybe 30 is more reasonable. I'm not sure you'll get 50 of other items especially if the Mine and/or Fishing Pond is necessary, and I'm pretty sure we'll be fishing since they have a bait we'll have to make at some point. Last time the wreathe (last item) could only be gotten by using the special bait, and even then it was extremely rare. I don't think many people caught more than a few, the rest had to be made in the kissing booth.

What PookieBear said and to add on to that, the people that bought the Egg Dipper will need Chocolate and Sugar, so selling those and/or the Cocoa Beans will bring you in a nice little cash cow as well. :)

Ok, thanks. I couldn't remember as I didn't monitor as closely, just what was needed to help others...Until the last minute when we learned the kitty was the goal reward, then I scrambled to do all those daily tasks on time to be eligible for that last goal chain. LOL!!!

I'm putting the date next to each goal and daily collectible in the first post, so that when the next event comes around, it will be easy for us to go back and check how often, as we may forget. I tried to check the Valentine thread earlier but it was so hard trying to figure out I just gave up and figured when the next goal shows up in our quests books, it shows up. At least this time around we'll have the date each goal and each collectible showed up so if/when we have to look back to verify, it's there for all to see. ;)

This may be a level issue but if the bunny is being offered as the prize and the event is open for you, then it will need to be changed.


You could post a separate post in the bugs forum and hopefully they can fix it in time for when you complete the goals.

You collections will be limited to the number you have of the most rare items and I guess it would certainly be a lot less than 50.

If you do get short of carrots later on in the event, you can always quickly make more biscuits.

Second goal was Envelopes and crafting items from the Bakery, then we had to give an outrageous amount of bread (and chocolate).

This time the first goal was Carrots and crafting items from the Kitchen, then we had to give Biscuits.

First goal was Roses and crafting items from the Dairy, then we had to give an outrageous amount of cheese.
Second goal was Envelopes and crafting items from the Bakery, then we had to give an outrageous amount of bread (and chocolate).

This time the first goal was Carrots and crafting items from the Kitchen, then we had to give Biscuits.
Should/Could we assume that the second goal will be to give eggs since we have to collect from Chickens for the collectible Egg? I'd probably assume yes, but you know what they say about when you "assume". LOL!!!

Is there a chance that the second goal will be released tonight/tomorrow night or will we have to wait until Monday night?



Eggs would be a very easy goal to achieve. I could easily buy 200 within a few minutes. Cheese/chocolate, on the other hand, is not so easy to complete.


I am more inclined to think they are more likely to go with goals which take some work to achieve.

I'd think so too but to be honest with you, the biscuits were not that hard. It only takes wheat, which grows quickly, and the biscuits take 5 minutes.

If anything I'm tending to lean towards what capitalcee said and maybe we'd have to make something with the eggs instead of just giving the eggs. That would make it a bit harder as it's more than one step, like the bread was (getting flour then making bread), but how many things really use eggs that would be available at level 18? Corn Bread, that's it I believe. *shrugs*

Has anyone been able to get the bunny burrow unlock? I really wonder how its done.

I just leveled up to 29 and bunny burrow was one of the items that was shown as unlocked. I don't remember seeing it before the level up.

I went to buy the 5 gem bunny trap and dragged the wrong one, so in half an hour I'm going to be the owner of an Easter egg dipper! 😧 lol

I best be getting some decent prizes out of this event now that I've depleted my stock of gems that I'd been saving up ... Stupid gems 😢

When the event first started, I saw it as a locked (dark) habitat, identified as a goal. Sometime later I noticed it was gone.

I expect it will be available to us individually, either in the market or in our storage, after we win one of the Easter bunnies.

These eggs goes towards our collection to tun in later, or we can turn 15 of each of these decorated eggs in for the lawn decorations. I do not have even close to enough gems to buy the egg maker, so is there a reason I should do this side challenge or not? I have already collected more than half the 200 eggs, but got to thinking about why I would throw away 30 decorated eggs if they should go towards my collection. Or is there only one collection you can turn in? This is very confusing.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, to get the items in the collection such as eggs and bunnies you have to make the items like biscuits or French fries, and check your chickens because these items drop the collection items. Each day for the next 7 days an item or something you can make like the French fries will drop a collection item. At the end of the 10 day collection period, we are on day 3 you can turn the collection in to get a prize similar to the other collection. The Easter egg dipper turn one collection item into another so if you have a lot of one item you can make an item you do not have, it's not necessary to have. However, if you want a certain prize then this may be beneficial to get, I would wait to see if it goes have off like the valentine day one to save gems. As for the challenges they ask you to give a certain amount of items, like 200 eggs, after completing the quest you are given a reward. If you complete all the challenges/ quest you get an animal....I believe. In the quest/ challenge it may ask for some of the collection items...like eggs which like the other items french fries once is given it will be remove from collection and barn. Which means to get more of the collection items for chance of getting random prize you will have to continue to get eggs, make French fries, and biscuits...etc. Most players by the Easter egg dipper because making the bait and mining have been challenge lately and you can still get the pet by turning in a collection and getting as a random prize....hope this help
