Glaciers dragon

I know there are 18 dragons in arctic isles, why does the glacius dragon take up a habitat space, I will never be able to get all 18 dragons then because there isn't enough habitat room, each habitat holds 3 and I need 6 habitats for all 18, can somebody tell me why glacius takes up a spot when he's basically useless.

Glacius comes with its own habitat that does take up space on the island doesn't count against the habitat limit. If you have Glacius you can still build up to six other habitats.
