xp to lvl 50?

How many xp do I need to reach lvl 50? Currently it reads 9,947,999. I has been this way since I reach lvl 49 which was 5-7 days ago. I have reinstalled the game app but it doesn't change. At this rate I don't think I will ever lvl up again.
Anyone else with this issue?

Hey there! The XP to get to Level 50 in 9,947,999 from level 49. If you are earning XP, you should be seeing that to the left of the number. Please let us know if you're not seeing that number. :)

Yes I see it. I have 9,484 xp. I guess my next question is why is the xp I need to get to lvl 50 so high? Because if that is correct it would take me more that 19 years to lvl up.

Hey there! While most players cap out at Level 49, we do make Level 50 available so that players can continue to accumulate XP for when and if we change the maximum level. :)

So I get to level 30 in 19 days only to find out the game has 49 levels and Storm8 has no intention of adding new levels. Really???? Dudes, psychology lesson, half the motivation of playing the game is seeing what's available around the corner on the next level, new toys, new recipies, etc. This could be a limitless game, why make it finite? That's lame and makes my investment frustrating and pointless.
