is a day 22 hours or 24 hours?

so i just bought the forbidden dragon and it says i get gold per day but all team lava games ive played so far only take 22 hours when it says a day so im wondering if its the same for the collection of gold
does anyone know?

Nope.. the 22 hours = 1 day thing doesn't apply to DS. When a timer says 1 day in DS, it really is 24 hours lol. In BS/RS, 22 hours equals a day but not in DS. :)

On a side note, In Spin to Win, a "day" is 22 hours in the sense that you get one spin a day, but the next spin in 22 hours later.

Trust the players, when it comes to collecting gold, a day is 24 hours, not one minute less. See this thread for comments...

If you want to go ahead and collect at the 22-hour mark I won't stop you, but I'm telling you that you will only collect 4 gold if you do that, assuming that your dragon is level 10 and you have a 1 dragon : 1 habitat ratio. I need every hour of the day. I can not afford to only have a 22 hour day. LOL! DS uses 24 hours when collecting gold from gold producing dragons. You do it too soon and you are out 1 gold bar. Don't let that happen to you.

Mines level 8 right now so only 4 gold, his getting pretty much all of the apples im making until he hits level 10 though
N had to check just to be sure lol its only 1 gold less this once though, i did look in that thread but nobody mentioned anything about 22 hour collection so i thought maybe it hadnt been tried
I saw someone elsewhere say that they got 5 gold after 23 hours but i guess they must have miscounted

I think the reason that number ~specifically~ hadn't been tried was because people noticed that any amount time before the 24 hour mark got them less gold XD Even if it was just one minute.

But now you know for yourself!
